Leaked KH4 and KHUX for PC

Today GeForce NOW, a Nvidia platform for cloud gaming, had a data leak where we can see games listed in their database yet to be announced for PC release (includes console exclusive and unannounced games).

And two of them are Kingdom Hearts 4 and Kingdom Hearts Unchained X

FYI, while the list is purported to be legitimate (since it was pulled from Nvidia servers), it in no way guarantees that all of these games exist in any capacity. Nobody knows when and in what context this data was entered in; it could be extremely old or just used as placeholders and testing purposes.

Not that I put too much stock into this, like Sign said there’s little reason to believe any of these are real titles. But can’t help but wonder.

I'm tired of random lists and pricks claiming to be marketing people from El Segundo.

And you can tell that they're placeholders because Square ALWAYS spells Kingdom Hearts in all caps yet "KH4" and Unchained X aren't.

I think we all know Nomura and the team is working on some sort of 20th anniversary item for us (perhaps even more than one, though I won't get my hopes up there) and has even hinted at as much, but if this is it--and it's about time that that stuff will be revealed--I don't know.

Though it would be sad if it got leaked, and their thunder was stolen. But what else would be new, sadly?

But I've heard some people speculate that even if they wanted to get stuff done for the anniversary, Covid could have halted it. I hope not, but it's always a possibility, with the state of things...

I will always bring this up but Nomura's own comment on the anniversary made it sound like he ain't that sure either.

He HOPES to bring good news on the anniversary. They're WORKING TOWARD the anniversary.

Meaning it's not a full on 100% deal.

DQ XII got revealed but no footage. same with the next sonic game.
we getting logo drop at the very least.

i personally think UX remake is our 2022 game and KH4/Veurm vex 2023

A remake of KHUX is what we need to move forward. Would love to revisit the worlds of the PoH in the unreal engine. Daybreak town os already made. Scala is already made. Let's do it!

NVIDIA’s official statement to The Verge, which pretty much confirms what we already know:

“NVIDIA is aware of an unauthorized published game list, with both released and/or speculative titles, used only for internal tracking and testing. Inclusion on the list is neither confirmation nor an announcement of any game.

UX remake is not going to happen. Even if Nomura wanted to do it, the necktie clowns won't let him, because they consider the original to be a failure. On the other hand, a PC port of the final version of the original is possible. It should be relatively easy to do, because the game is already using a portability framework that supports many different platforms, and it would solve the story availability problem people have been complaining about.

There needs to be at least one other game before KH4, because numbered games for sure have Sora as the main character, and he is currently unavailable. I'm actually expecting two, Verum Rex with Riku as the main protagonist, and then whatever they have planned for Lauriam.

Also, isn't the anniversary project most likely the rumored anime series?

Didn't Nomura say that "at least one game before KH4" thing before Melody of Memory released?

Also, I really doubt that Disney+ show is even real. It's a rumor, and a dead one at that.

CGI series won't come.
Because it's just a rumor with weak grounds, and there's no merit in doing that.
There is no need for KH, which is already a game series with beautiful video expression, to bother to create an independent video work series.
