Kurohime

Weeeeeell... this starts out as a magic gunslinger manga but also does magical girl, battle, blah, blah, blah.

All in all it's a consistantly good shonen that's easy to just read casually. It doesn't get too caught up in big themes or arcs or anything. The arcs last about 5 or 6 volumes, generally. Artwork's pretty standard for the most part but it's on when Kurohime gets going.

Anyone else ever read this? I don't think I've ever spoken to anyone who has...

I read the plot summary, it sounds interesting enough. The tits and the tight leather outfit are a plus as well. I'll check it out.

Yeah, the plot's pretty simplistic but because of that it's pretty easy to follow and get involved with. Big wars and political stuff is fine too, just sometimes harder to give a crap.

Kurohime's basically about the power of love anyway. Well, about 80% love. The rest is mostly boobies.

'Kuro' is really overused.

I've gotten to the point in my re-reading Kurohime's gotten to her Gothic phase and is going by 'Himekojo'

'Kuro' is really overused.

Kuroshitsuji and Kuro no Keiyakusha (Darker than Black) are two others that come to mind.

I guess Japan really likes it black.
