Tidus swooshed the thin, dark brown broom in his hands left and right. Why did he even have to sweep? The floors were clean anyway. The blonde silently fumed at his musings, but continued sweeping none the less.

His eyelids drooped slightly as boredom began to take him over. It had only been a half hour since he began sweeping, but he already felt like collapsing on his spotless floor. He yawned before stretching his arms, broom still in hand, and continued his sweeping.

The memories came back to him as he walked the dark, empty streets of Zalydan.Having a new job to be done Nova couldn't avoid the thought of darkness. Was this his destiny?Just to stay and live in darkness forever? No,Nova knew this wasn't what he wished for.He had long been hoping to live in a world with just peace. One with nature.Although,he could still run away and search;search for something new, something different than this. But it was highly impossible.Surely, the man that recruited Nova sent some men of his to watch over him.

To make sure he did do his job and not betray him.It was no time to be making enemies in Nova's condition.Nova finally came to a stop and looked at the dark sky."Rain?"He asked himself as he covered his head with the hood from the black coat he was wearing. The others continued to remain hidden as they watched over him."Heh."As the lightning struck down into the ground;Nova vanished."What the?!"One of the men yelled. The others quickly began looking for Nova, but it was no use.He was long gone by now.

"That was far to easy."Nova thought. He continued walking down the alley of the city.Suddenly,a glowing light came upon Nova's face. His eyes were forced to look away from the bright light.Nova quickly glanced at the ground as he covered his face from the light.A silhouette suddenly appeared. He couldn't manage to see who or what it was.The light started to fade away as Nova looked up he managed to see a face of a girl."Who was she?"He asked.

He quickly ran over to the wall and examined it.There was something written on the right corner.Nova began reading the message."You shall soon awaken." Nova read out loud."What could this mean?"At the same time, the ground began to shake. The wall started to crumble. There was no time for Nova to escape;A cold breeze came upon Nova's spine. His vision started to become blurry. Finally,he was unable to see anything anymore; as that happened,he collapsed on the ground.

After sitting in the chair for a little while, Sora decided that he needed to go do something. He got up and walked over to the door and opened it. He walked towards the entrance of the castle, looking around for guards. So far, there weren't any. He smirked as he walked through the hallway, slowly letting his guard down. Sora quickly stopped as he heard voices. It was his father... talking to someone, but he didn't really recognize them.

Sora just turned around, trying to find another way he could go. He soon found a hallway that wasn't too far off and began to walk through it, once again looking around for guards that might see him.

Before he knew it, Sora found the entrance to the castle. He smiled to himself as he walked towards the door. He was finally going to be able to leave the castle. It had been a while since he had been outside.

Of all days to be inside dashing about over paperwork. Sighing softly the male looked across the papers littering the large oval desk. Oh how horrible being in charge could be. Glancing to the clock warily Riku jerked in shock. He had been present in the room for three hours. Three long hours of sorting through threats, suggestions, and propositions that were to be forwarded to the King.

"I give up today..."

Voice soft and weary the sixteen-year-old stood, chair scratching the floor with a hissing noise. This surprised him, causing the sleep to disappear from his eyes momentarily. Soon it returned however, hands draping and clamping behind his back. Riku pushed the door open, eyes scanning up and down the large hall. First he caught sight of the King discussing business no doubt with a man a bit taller than himself.
'Always busy...'
He thought this to himself, slipping through the door with no noise. Next, further down the hall, the disappearance of a patch of brown hair intrigued him. What was the Prince playing at? Honestly not letting someone know where he was going, or better yet not taking someone with him.

Passing the King he nodded softly, muttering a small 'Good Day' and 'Excuse me' while doing so. Flashing a small smile the man that had been speaking with the King, Riku avoided eyes he didn't want to be halted in his new task. Rounding the corner abruptly the silver headed male stopped, pale eyes gracing the form of the boy.

"Looking for anything in particular?"

Stepping forwards he stopped short beside Sora, eyes fixed ahead and on the rows of hedges outlining the small garden. Finally he looked to the younger boy, smiling softly.
"Or perhaps it is that your room has actually gotten boring after all this time?"
This escaped in a question, features reassuring this fact.

Pang, Pang, Pang. The sound of metal being beaten escaped through the open shed facing a street. Such a busy day it was indeed. Eyes narrowing the female glared at the crop of Horseshoes she had been making. Honestly...Horseshoes! Her work diminished to furnishing the feet of animals!
Shoving the reddened piece of ore into a bucket of water it cooled instantly, steam rising from the bucket. Tossing it to the ever-growing pile to her left Aya growled. Horseshoes!

Grabbing yet another piece of the metal she shoved it into the open fire, waiting as it heated. It was then her eyes shifted about, catching the color of the sky. It was cloudy - rainy looking today. Much like most days actually in this town - more or less this Kingdom. A deafening crack caused her to jerk back to reality and remove the shoe in progress from the fire. Small hand grasping the hammer the loud sound of Panging began once more.

She had to admit, she couldn't think about anything but the task at hand with this noise. Maybe that was why she took up this profession? She herself was still unsure.
"Well...I suppose Horses have to have shoes just like everyone else..."
Now she was beginning to think of the advantage of this job...she liked animals after all; no need to complain.

Maybe it was the fact it was the same task over and over and over again. Or maybe not. She had done a task repetitively many times before...so maybe it was just today. Placing the shoe into the bucket she let it cool before placing it with it's brothers. After this Aya paused, stepping to the edge of the shed and looking to the sky once more...maybe it was just the day. Wiping her brow the black headed female turned, sashaying to a chair and sinking into it.

Plenty of things to look over, orders to organize.

He was finally able to go outside. Suddenly, someone appeared beside him. Sora, jumped, not expecting it. He turned to look up at Riku and slightly glared at him. "I was just going outside..." He said.

Sora frowned as he heard Riku's question. "It's always been boring," He replied, wrapping his hands around the door knob. He walked backwards, trying to pull it open. The door was too heavy. He frowned even more as he tried to open it once again. "A little help, please?" He asked.

'The way he stayed in that room you never would have guessed...'

Staring thoughtfully Riku chuckled, hand grabbing the door and aiding the boy in his effort. After a few pulls and tugs it opened. "You should still let someone know when you're leaving your room." Putting emphasis on the word know Riku waited; he was planning to follow the boy. Hands folding gingerly across his chest his eyes adjusted to the new light filtering inside.

"Honestly what if your father was looking for you? He'd think you'd gone and gotten yourself lost somewhere...and in your own home no less."

His voice came out sharper than he wished, eyes shifting to the corner of his sockets. He wasn't trying to be crude or sarcastic, he was simply trying to provide an honest example of misunderstandings.

"Then I'd never get out!" Sora replied, smiling. It was always that way, actually. His father wanted him inside all the time, either studying or sitting in his room. It took just a few more pulls until the door had been opened.

Sora ran outside, happy over the fact he was not in the castle. He heard Riku's comment and turned towards him and shook his head. "Do you think he would even notice?" He asked. After all, his father was so busy with being a king he really didn't have time to notice his son was gone in the first place. Still, his father was determined to make sure Sora was ready to be king.

Sora turned back around and looked out towards the village.

Pondering his sanity Riku chuckled, "Well I suppose you have a point there.."
After the door opened he followed Sora, eyes searching around for any 'threats'. His attention was soon caught, hearing the Prince's last comment.
"You shouldn't speak of your father that way kid. He would notice."
Pausing Riku spotted where Sora's gaze had drifted to. The town.

"True he can be a busy man but he's still your father, you have to give him some credit. He cares, if he didn't then why would it be so hard to go outside on a day to day basis?"

With this Riku headed off to his left, stopping near a hedge. Thinking his eyes drifted to the corner of their sockets, a smile appearing.
"Well I have things to do, as far as I know you're in your room - being boring like always."
Finishing Riku turned back towards the castle, grabbing the door and wrenching it open after a few tries. Stepping inside a slight wave appeared before the metallic sound of the door closing echoed.

Oh how he hoped Sora had understood what he was getting at. After all the kid had a point...he rarely got to go from the castle grounds. Let him have some fun. With a small smug smile the sixteen-year-old slipped off down a corridor, heading back towards the office filled with papers.
'Just don't get in too much trouble...I would have a time explaining that...'

Nova began to regain consciousness as he heard a low voice. He slowly began opening his eyes as he starred at the cieling. The sun light hit Nova's eyes as he opened them."You're finally awake."A voice said.Nova shook his head and stood up."W-where am I?"Nova asked out loud."All you should know is that you're safe here."The voice responded.Nova turned around to see where the voice was coming from.He then spotted a teen age looking girl sitting on a chair watching over Nova."What happened? All I remember was looking at a bright light. From there,it's all a big blur."Nova said. The girl laughed a bit as he looked at Nova."Oh,I'm sorry.Let me introduce myself. My name is Nova Sylvan."

The girl stood up and walked towards Nova."Pleasure to meet you,Mr.Sylvan.My name is Nessie."The girl said as she gave a slight smile."So,you live here alone?"He asked."Yeah,I've been living on my own ever since I can remember.Nova?May I asked you a question?"Nessie asked as she blushed a little."Sure."Nova responded."Can you help get out of this place?I know this may sound weird, but I'm not allowed to leave this house."Nova was a bit startled and confused."Wait,if you can't leave this house then how did I end up here?"

"Well, you sorta just dropped in here."Nessie responded."A girl came by and asked me if she could leave you here.Something about you being chased by some evil hooded men.And I gladly accepted. So,where you from?"There was a long silence before Nova responded."I-I don't know.Let me put it this way.I don't seem to remember my home. Not even any of my friends nor my family. But enough of that, where do you want me to take you,Nessie?" Nova asked."Well,I want to visit the Castle." Nessie said as she looked outside the window."The castle? What for?"He asked."Yes,there's a castle not to far from here.I have never gone there. So please, will you take me there?"

"Yeah, let's go!"Nova yelled.Nessie chuckled as she grabbed Nova's hands and walked downstairs."So,why aren't you allowed to leave this house?"He asked.

"I have a curse. The only way to leave this house is by having someone holding my hand and walk out the door with me.But I haven't had a visitor in years now. This is why I'm asking so much of you.You don't mind,do you?"Nessie asked."No,not really. That way,you can also give me a tour of this town."He said.Together, they walked out the door and into the town."I should probably not mention that I'm in the same group as the other hooded men. That might frighten her."Nova thought as they walked. After a short while.Nessie and Nova could see the castle up ahead in the distance."This is it!"Nessie yelled with excitement.

Tidus shouted out gibberish out of pure boredom. Sure, he was proud of his beautiful floors that he worked "endlessly" to keep that way, but after two hours, it got pretty boring. He sighed, then ambled on with his broom to another area of the castle.

"Isn't sweeping boring Dusty?" Tidus asked his broom as he swept non existent dirt into a non existent pile. The broom offered him no reply. He scoffed at the broom.
"No need to be so cold," he commented. "Not my fault you're a broom."

This must not Die so early! Dx - Plus I needed to post for Aya again..xD
_____________________________

The pang erupted once more, tearing through silence and breaking it willingly. Aya's eyes shifted, lurking towards the door. She had a bad feeling about today, and quite honestly she didn't have a clue as to why. Shoving the reddened axe blade into the emptying pail of water she tossed it to the side with her other orders that had been filled.
The bucket needed to be filled once more.
Grabbing the handle the small amount remaining in it was tossed out to the side before the female hurried towards the door.

A creak sent a chill down her spine, eyes jerking about around the street. The rain had started, falling on the dreary town in large chilling drops.

"Perfect."

Left hand reaching for a blackened and slightly tattered cloak the girl slipped it on. With a deep breath she pressed out, into the veil of blurring rain. The fact it was coming down so hard limited her vision, causing her to jerk her head about ever more - nervous. You never knew what you would see in a town like this, true she had lived here many years but you never knew. After all it had drawn the madness out of her sister...
Pausing in the middle of the street Aya stared, watching a loose cobblestone.

[Yah Old England Style FTW! x3]

She hadn't thought of her sister in a while, better yet she hadn't thought of anything that would lead to her thinking of her sister. Shaking her head softly she moved on forward, eyes catching the darkened silhouette of the well. Yes she still owned a well for this shop; it took up far too much water to pay for. Stopping short as her knee touched the brick, eyes traveled down and searched for the large bucket attached to the rope dangling to her left. Grasping it the bucket was lowered in a large squeaky movement, hoisted within a few moments after.

Pouring the water into the large one sitting upon the ground a sigh escaped...now the long road of carrying it back to the shed...
Oh this was going to be fun.

Tick-Tock. Tick-Tock. Tick-Tock.

Honestly was that clock trying to get on his nerves?

Bright eyes looking up the slipped into a glare, he had only been gone a few moments and it seemed like forever. When was it he had left Sora outside again?
Maybe checking on him wouldn't be all that bad?
Standing in a quick motion Riku slipped to the door in a hurried manner, closing it in a rush. His attention was suddenly caught by a guard walking past him and toward the young prince's room.

"You! What is it you want?"

The guard stopped, spinning and pulling his hand up into a salute.
"Sir! I was ordered by the King to bring the boy to the library for his studies!"

That was what Riku had been afraid of.

"Never mind that. Tell the King I shall escort the boy there myself. That is my job and I wont' be seen slacking, that isn't my policy."

Spotting a nervous look appear on the fellow's features Riku narrowed his eyes,
"That is an order soldier!"

"Sir!"

With that the silver headed male watched as the guard turned on his heel and marched in an exaggerated manner back towards the King's chamber.
Now this was going to be the problem - tracking the boy down. At least he had done right staying instead of following the boy for once. The first smart move he had made in ages. With a short sigh Riku broke into a run, ignoring the looks from the fellows lining the walls.

Reaching the gates within a few moments he forced it open with the help of a nearby man. Slipping into the sunlight eyes narrowed, had it been this bright when Sora had departed? Without a second thought the sixteen-year-old broke into a run, spinning on his heel as he reached the side of the building.

"Sora!"

His voice was frantic, worried and most of all slightly annoyed. Now he wasn't annoyed at the younger boy, but at his father for having such ill timing!

"Sora! Answer me!"

After running a half-circle around the castle he turned and headed for the gates. Maybe Sora had gone towards the village.

Damn!

Sora looked out towards the village. It was almost tempting in a way. He knew that he really shouldn't go, though. Too many people would recognize him, although it had been a while since he had been anywhere.

Glancing back towards the castle doors, Sora made his decision. He would go to the village.

He ran towards the village, an extreme happiness coming over him. Once he arrived, Sora looked around. Nobody was staring. It was almost like he was just a regular person, not a prince. He smiled as he looked around for something to do. There was quite a bit to do, afterall.

Riku's eyes narrowed, worry appearing more evident in his features. What if something had happened to Sora? He and the boy would both be dead!
"Sora!"
Reaching the gates eyes shifted about, arms tense as if he were readying himself to run again. He'd found nothing. Hand slipping to his eyes they were covered, embarrassment appearing with a striking force. Turning on his heel he growled, heading back towards the castle. He needed some excuse. Anything that would make the king think Sora was actually getting something done!

A thought hit him then. Smirking Riku knocked on the door to the castle, slightly out of breath. After it was opened his eyes met those of a girl; Mika was one of the higher ranking guards.
"Would you please inform the King that I'll be having a private lesson with Sora today. He will be unable to attend anything until later on. I think it's about time he learned how to protect himself fully."

Without waiting for a reply Riku left the stunned faced girl behind and darted back towards the village. If Sora wasn't here, he had to be there.
You could loose your job for this Riku...
His conscious seemed to be trying to turn him around, but his mind was thinking differently. It was his job to watch out for the King and his son, and his job to take the responsibility of his actions.

Breaking onto a slightly sloping down road he looked about; the village stretched out in front of him on the hill below. Now the only objective left?
Figuring out where Sora had gone too.
Breaking into a run once more the sixteen-year-old headed towards the closest building - The Pub.

(OOC: Come on, this needs to be posted in more!!)

(OOC: Finally, time for Roxas' post.)

IC:

It was a bright and sunny day, which usually meant it was going to be a good day. Roxas smiled as he looked at his surroundings. Today, everyone seemed to be in a good mood.

He looked to his right as he saw someone run into the pub. They had silver hair. And, they seemed to be in a hurry too. Then, a person with spikey brown hair ran right past Roxas. Who was that? Roxas looked at the person as the ran throughout the village. It looked like the prince.

Roxas then suddenly remembered the person that had ran into the pub. Where they looking for the prince?

He walked into the pub and looked around for them. So far, he couldn't see them. Roxas walked throughout the pub until he spotted him. Roxas ran towards him and asked, "Who are you looking for?"

"Are you sure you haven't seen some kid about yea high.." He paused and lifted a hand to the correct height before continuing, "...And...clum..sy?"

Voice catching the last word barely escaped, Riku had heard another question. Spinning around in a semi-circle he stopped short as Roxas came into full view.
"Hmm?"
Blinking a moment the sixteen-year-old placed his hands upon his hips and laughed shakilly.
"Looking for someone? Why would you think I was looking for someone?"
His voice had come out rather shakilly and high pitched, almost in a shrill squeal. He, of course, had noticed this and instantly straightened his form.

A moment of silence passed before Riku grabbed the boy's shoulders.

"But while we're on the subject have you seen a kid with brown spiky hair..." Again he paused, making motions for hair and yet again making himself look like a jester.
"And wearing clothing with crossing things at the back that are black and red and gold? Because if you have I would really, really appreciate it if you told, no scratch that, showed me where he is."

By now Roxas was being shook by his shoulders, Riku's voice had risen to an unimaginable high full of panic and worry. Part of him was worried about Sora...the other? His own ass.

(OOC: Yeah, it does.)

IC:

Roxas raised an eyebrow at how he was acting. He seemed to be really anxious and worried.

He thought about the question that the other asked. It was rather hard to hear, though, as the pub was a loud place to be.

As Roxas thought back to who had passed him earlier, he did recall spikey brown hair and a black outfit. Just like the prince... He thought.

"Yes, I think so," Roxas replied.

It seemed as if the prince had ran away. He doesn't seem like he would do that though. But, he seemed in a hurry, almost, Roxas thought.

Then, he got an idea. "How about I help you look for him?" He asked.

(OOC: Edit

Riku stared, not believing his ears. He had seen Sora!

"Please do you know where he went?"

Voice still frantic a tinge of hope had crept up, simmering below the surface. All he needed to know was where that kid was. Oh let him find him doing something illegal!
He would drag the kid back to the castle by his ears if he had too,
Roxas' second question seemed to catch him off guard. Riku stared, unsure if he should trust this boy. However his decision was rather short, he didn’t' seem to have any other choice but to trust him.

"Thank you very much. I would appreciate the help and will return the favor."

With that the male darted to the door, breaking into a small run so the boy inside could catch up.
Don't loose him Riku..
