Kingdom Hearts - Which one is the best?

which Kingdom hearts is the best and why? The original, CoM or KH2? Me personally, is the original...

I hope you know this thread will turn into a flame war in due time. For me KH1 seems to be the best, but depending on how KH2:FM works out I may change my mind.

As a game, kh2 was awesome, but as an epic tale of love and adventure, like most rpgs I've played, it has a lot of loose ends....

Kingdom Hearts.


Which means the first.


One of the more original games I've played in terms of storyline and art direction. Really felt like an epic fairytale.

Sure, it was nice in KH2 but it was already done in the first so I felt it got kind of... boring.

Chain of Memories had an amazing storyline, but if we compare to the first KH it didn't use the Disney-part that made it original in the storyline.

And plus, KH2 was too easy. I have big hopes for the new Final Mix.

kh1. it had better story , better characters , wasn't as easy as kh2 , harder bosses , more extras , better voices and that's almost it.

KH1 was more dramatic, had better cutscenes, and a way better ending. KH2 was fun, but I prefer the not so big and long combos. And KH1 had MP attacks, like Strike Raid and Sonic Blade, my fav's, cause you could do uip to 7 chain attacks, including the final mega attack.

Well,I really liked both KH and KH2.Although,KH was way better because it was longer,harder,and fun.On the other hand,KH2 was also good,but the game itself was way to short.The first time I got KH2 I beat it in less than a week.That's probably because I wouldn't stop playing the game.Anyways,KH almost took me like a year to beat.And yeah,that's the reason why I prefer KH.

i agree with that one guy who liked the first one it was the most original and although u had drive abliities and reaction commands it just was too easy in KH2 you were too powerful at least in KH you had to use your skill in KH2 its like "oh no this guy is too hard i better drive, or use a limit, or summon--or--hah, that enemy cant hurt me ill just use this reaction command, or use thundaga!" and the guy who said something about the "new FM" do you mean the KH2 version of final mix? cuz i thought FM was only meant to give the japanese the sephiroth fight and the kurt zisa fight that we already got, plus a little extra. in KH2 everyone got the same content, so there wouldnt be a need for FM, so i dont think they would make a KH2 FM.

KH1. New story, new characters, new battle system. New Everything. The many disney worlds just in one game seperated it from every single game. KH1 was the start of something completely different.

In kh2 you already knew everybody, and werent as surprised about having different worlds.

This really is a tough one for me, but seeing as I never got around to playing Chain of Memories, it at least narrows it down to Kh vs. Kh2. Kh2 had really nice graphics, which made a world of a difference to me. In Kingdom Hearts, Sora's expressions were somewhat limited. In Kingdom Hearts 2, the improved graphics gave Sora more expression, adding to his personality and overall character {this goes for all of the charcters, of course} but the first Kingdom Hearts had a nice storyline.

i dont care wat anyone says. the original kingdom hearts was better storyline-wise, but the gameplay was much better in kh2

I fell in love with the original, but the second had better gameplay and graphics and battle system.

And CoM was complete junk =]
