Kingdom Hearts: We Are The Hunted (Going for this again)

Imagine this, there you are minding your business. All of a sudden, gun are at your head and the light from a helicopter in shining down on you. Here's the catch, you've done nothing wrong. You hold a weapon that could save the world or destroy it... that is your supposed "crime." What a corrupt world we live in right?

This is how we live day in and day out. We are considered threats because we were chosen and not them! Because we have strong hearts and they don't! These weapons are what separates us from them! The Keyblade!

The entire military wants us dead. The hunters want us for sport, thinking they can take us on even though some of them are our own kind. Yes, they have us outnumbered but we are far more powerful that they can fathom! The president says he wants a war? Don't make me laugh, a war is implying that they stand a chance.

Come with me my brothers and sisters... we must rise up and fight or be killed trying!!!

As you can tell from this speech above, this is not your average kingdom hearts roleplay. This takes place in our world and things do not look pretty. Key wielders are thought of as "bad people" no matter what there motives are. The ones that are captured by the military are either sent to camps or prisons with heavy guards and in the worst case, you are killed. Recently, hunters who look for Keyblade masters have turned up. They take keychains from keybladers and sell them on the black market. Sometimes, the hunters are Keyblade users and they keep the keychains and use them.

Overall, America is pretty dangerous at the time with this constant fighting going on. You are a team of rebels who have escaped from their prison or concentration camp. You fight the good fight for the sake of your brethren and to find out the real reason why you are hunted like you are. Should be interesting to find out, eh? Oh, you have no idea.

Name: William Overton

Age: 19

Appearance: He is 6'5” and scrawny. He wears a green short-sleeved shirt and jeans. His black hair is jagged because he cut it with rocks. He has scars running down his left arm from abuse he suffered in a camp. He also has a wound on his face near his left ear. His blue eyes seem to perceive anything from behind his glasses. He wears a cloak with no hood on him so he can hide his scars on his arm. To hide the wound on his head he wears a fedora. In one of his pockets he carries a copy of the Art of War.

Birthplace: Pittsburgh, PA

Alignment: Keyblader

Personality: He is compassionate and caring. He is very cautious around other people, even keybladers. He isn't physically strong as the average keyblader but he makes up for this with a superior mind and cunning. He has an affinity for choosing to be merciful and to do the 'right thing'. He is very loyal to the cause of keyblader freedom. He is also very serious at all times. When he begins to think hard on something he lights a fire (large or small doesn't matter to him) and messes with the fire using his keyblade. He will often ignore questions that pry into his past. He also has a 'never say die' attiude in battle. But when he gets angry, God help the target of his anger.

Weapon: Williams' keyblade , Flames of freedom, is red with tinges of blue. The teeth of the key form the kanji for freedom. Its key-chain is a blue green flame symbol. It's always warm to the touch.

Keyblade ability: Freedom's flames – The blade dissapears and his body is coated in flames. This boosts his strength and speed. However using this abillity tires him out and he rarely uses it.

William was born to a family in the north hills region of Pittsburgh. Growing up he felt strong tides to doing right thing(probably taught to him by the cub scouts). He had always been smarter than the other students and spent most of his time reading and because he skipped a few grades. During high school he began reading the Art of War. Deciding to take it to heart he got a copy before graduation. During an entrance exam into college a keyblade appeared in front of him. It took a few seconds for what was in front of him. Thinking quickly he grabbed it and ran from the room. When he arrived at his house the keyblade had disappeared. Dutifully telling his parents about what happened. They seemed to be sympathetic and gave him a cup of tea. Drinking the tea he suddenly felt sleepy and went to his room. Later, he heard something in his room. He woke up and felt a fist strike the left side of his head, and he fainted.

The next day he awoke to realize he was in a camp. During the first few days it was unbearable. However he made a few friends inside of it and they began to hatch a plan to escape. The first few attempts had met with dismal failure which resulted in the scars down William's left arm. After a few more escape attempts the 'warden', as he liked to be called by the residents of the camp, got fed up with the continued escape attempts and put the one whom he thought was in charge of the small group into solitary confinement. This had been what William had waited for. At 3 a.m. that very next morning he had rallied the other occupants of the camp into an effective fighting force and they attacked the guards. While some of them were awake enough to fight back, the more effective strategy that William had employed won the day. At 7 a.m. everyone in the camp had rested and were ready to move. William checked on his friend who had been captured. She seemed fine and he placed her in charge of the prisoners. By 6 p.m. they got ready to move out the next day and he checked on the prisoners. Of the 6 they had captured, two were unconscious and the other four had been killed. When he asked Rebecca what happened she explained that she gave them what they gave her 'plus interest.' Hearing this he sent her away. He should not have done this as the opinion of his group changed to thinking Rebecca had lead them to victory while William had caused them unneeded problems, lugging the prisoners, non-lethal force etc., and drove him from their midst. Knowing full well what would happen if he left he journeyed to the 'wardens' office and grabbed his belongings. Looking on the wall he noticed a cloak on the wall. Cutting off the hood as to show he had nothing to hide he left the camp and joined the keyblade rebellion to help those that had chosen to banish him.

Age: 19

Appearance: Renn is tall and lean at a height of 5'11, His skin is a light peach tone and his eyes are blue although with a thick ring of hazel, tricking the eye that their more of a greenish color. His hair is a light brown that falls to his shoulders although he keeps it in a pony tail giving him a hairstyle similar to Edward Elric's. He also has black bifocal glasses.

His outfit is quite simple, he wears a green camoflage jacket and torn black jeans and a white T-shirt that says: "It's better to be a smartass than a dumbass." in bold green and blue font across the front. He wears simple black skater shoes. and black socks.

Gender: What rhymes with Weenus dude?

Birthplace: Brooklyn, New york.

Alignment: Keyblader
Personality: Renn is a contradictory in himself, He can be friendly most of the time or sarcastic when someone pisses him off, hard-working one moment or lazy the next. There are alot of triggers that signal switches between the opposite states so you could say he is a Chaos incarnate. Treat him with respect and you'll make a great friend, but betray him and you'll get thrown to the ground. But a few things stay the same no matter how much he switches... He has a devastatingly sharp wit, natural pride in his abilities that rivals some video game characters like Jhect from FFX, and the last is a sense of justice that never wavers. He'll always take the right path in the end no matter how he carries it out.

Weapons: Reason and Instinct- These two keyblades reflect the two sides of Renn's ever shifting persona. and depending on what state he's in, will determine what keyblade is in his hand.

In appearance both are considered reflections of each other.

Keyblade ability: Magical prowess- When Renn Uses Instinct, His style is more magical based... because all the current spells he knows are buffed up by one level (Currently he knows level one spells so when using this keyblade he can use Fira, Blizzara et cetera)

Physical prowess- when using Reason, his physical limits are pushed to the point that he can use special attacks (Sonic blade, Strike raid et cetera)

Biography: it's not hard to describe how Renn's life was... he was a typical nerd, always trying to stay away to prevent being hurt... but he still was, but through that his resolve to become stong kicked in but it resulted in the contradictory nature he is known for today. He can be vindictive but only because people treat him the same way... he is the litteral embodiment of the saying: "Do to others as they do to you."

He looks up greatly to his dad but his dad is in the military. It was when he turned eighteen that his dad returned home and it resulted in the most controversial moment in Renn's life, Renn's desire to do good and his resolve resulted in his heart becoming strong enough to obtain a keyblade. And right infront of his entire family no doubt... His dad tried to kill him on the spot. It resulted with his father wounded... But his father realized what had happened. He had tried to kill his own son. He told Renn to kill him... because he didn't want to do it again. Renn knew in his heart that he would... So he... killed his father.

His life changed after that and the next day, Renn knew he would have to leave... so he took his father's possessions and anything of value of his father's and left...

Personality: (Colonel is not a social person. He usually keeps to himself when not on the field, either reading a book or simply relaxing quietly somewhere. This "loner" attitude earns him the suspicions of his squadmates, who are barely tolerable of a Keyblader within their ranks. However, he ignores their misconceptions, staying within the confines of his own machinations.

When on the field, Colonel's "Lone Wolf" demeanor turns into downright detachment. His squadmates know that once they enter the field, Colonel is no longer their comrade, and is instead a killer intent on seeking out his target. Once the target is found, Colonel does not give them the chance to surrender of explain themselves. He simply moves in and attacks, aiming to kill with every encounter unless ordered otherwise. He is silent on the battlefield usually, even when attacking his target. He only speaks when needed....or if he's having fun; Which is usually when he's facing a powerful foe.)

Weapon(s): Keyblade

Keyblade Name/Appearance: "Loveless" is Colonel's default weapon. The Keyblade itself is gray-black hue, with the shaft resembling a sword blade. The "tooth" (top) end of the Key is seemingly made up of a broken guillotine, with each of the shards forming the "key" shaped edge. The Keychain is a single rose petal.

Element: Colonel commands the cold, frigid powers of ice in battle. In a battle against enemy squadrons and Keybladers, Colonel can use his "Crisis Core" ability, covering a full twenty feet in pure ice. The force of the extension of the ice is enough to kill an average or low-armored person on contact, though enemy Keybladers, heavily-armored targets, as well as those armed with Fire-based abilities can break from this icy prison, making it a power to be used strategically.

Military rank: Ironically enough, a Captain....commanding his own four-man squad.

Biography: Colonel was born to a well-off family in Ohio, and grew up relatively pampered until he had reached the age of 17. Upon nearing adulthood, a Keyblade appeared in front of him at his college graduation ceremony. Predictably, the authorities were called in. Colonel fled for many months, only for the Army to eventually corner him. Just as he was about to be shot dead, the youth launched himself at the enemy in a final stand, only to slip to the ground, his head hitting a sharp rock on the ground. As his body was being dragged onto a truck headed for an internment camp, he woke up quickly, starting to display severe amnesia; being unaware of his power, his goals, or even his name.

Ransen, the commander of the Unit (Who would later be promoted to Admiral) saw this youth's potential as a force that could counter the Key Rebellion's ever-increasing strength. Colonel was soon conditioned extensively for a year through training and memory techniques; all the while being told false information as to his predicament in order to take advantage of his amnesia. The Army told Colonel that the leader of the Rebellion slaughtered his family and friends when he was a young child.....and that Admiral Ransen had taken him in, raising him like a son, until he had expressed desires to join the Army. (His real nam was also left out, just in case hearing it sparked any memories) This conditioning was a success, turning the kind-hearted Colonel into the cold-blooded killer that he is now. He has vowed revenge on all Keybladers, killing them all until he finds the source of his misery....and eradicates it.

Personality: Zeke has that “I Don’t Give a Damn” attitude towards pretty much everything. The only thing he cares about at all is the fight at hand and surviving it along with the other keybladers, but mainly himself. It's funny because he swears that he hates just about everyone as well. According to him, ‘People are stupid and will eventually turn their back on you. What the point in getting to know them?” But on the inside, somewhere down deep in the pit of his soul he actually cares.

Keyblade ability: Zeke's element is that of the earth. He never uses it to its fullest potential. Instead, he uses it as a way to make pseudo meteors in various ways. Sometimes they are stepping stones for him to become air born and sometimes they are shields. Rarely does Zeke use them to attack as he calls them, "Too messy."


Biography: Zeke Halliwell is nothing short of a rebel and a degenerate. Doing things despite the rules set before him. It's a wonder as to how he came in contact with a keyblade in the first place. The story isn't that interesting but might as well give you a brief summary.

Growing up on the good side of Baltimore, Zeke grew up in a pretty wealthy family. Both parents were in the military so naturally he grew up without them around most of the time. His sister took care of him most of the time. As much as he enjoyed it, he wanted the attention of his parents the most, so he began to act out. Fighting in school, petty thievery, and rather horrible pranks. He did it all without a care in the world.

His world changed when one day he sister came home... she had been beaten. He was sixteen at the time. Zeke did what any protective brother would do and went looking for the bastards to fight them. Naturally, he received a beatdown from the gang. At one point at the end, the ground around him rose up and protected him. Next thing he knew, the keyblade was in his hand and he came back, totally revived and beat the hoodlums.

At this time, the Keyblader reform was going on and once his parents found out... they were given orders to kill him. His sister allowed him to flee. He had been on the road for two years before joining the Keyblade rebellion group. He has been one of the commanders ever since.
