[Caxm]

I have been coming up with a story that is set in a Kingdom Hearts style universe
(just day dreaming for the past 3 years) and is separate from the original series. I made up a couple elements here and there, but it is really obvious.

Main Characters:
*Key Blade Wielders*

*-Incendia (In-sin-dea-) Cindi (Sin-dee)-Crimson Hair, Blue eyes, light peach skin. A brilliant, cunning and cheerful young girl (16). She has a strong smile that tells everyone she is their friend.

*-Adam- Bronze Hair, Green Eyes. A fun upbeat boy (16). He worries whenever his friends are in trouble (Imber, Chits). He is brash and random. He also lets his emotions get the best of him.

*-Onis, Caeli, Aeris (I haven't decided, names are the newest part)- Blonde hair, green eyes. He is loud and proud of it (17). He sometimes gets full of himself and doesn't know how to trust.

-Imber- A friend to Adam, Chitsa and Onis (16). He is calm and very friendly. He always speaks his mind and has a habit of asking a lot of questions.

-Chitsa (Che-tza)- Chitz- (15) A young bright girl. She is funny and kind. She is an outgoing character, and hangs out with Adam and Imber with her free time.

The Start of Something that was already happening

Her journey begins the day she waits for the school bus. This could have been any, but this one had one strange occurrence. As she sits on a small wall kicking at the sidewalk, and made in a coat with a hood passes by. She barely even notices as she gets up to the site of the bus. The bus ride, the classes, the student, teachers, books, knowledge, and writing all seems to pass her by. When she gets home she is overcome with exhaustion, even though her day was uneventful. Maybe this was just what she was looking for.

She wakes the next day to rain and puts on her boots. She is again at the bus stop. She lets the rain gradually soak her hair as she watches a puddle ripple with affection. A man walks by her again. The man blurs and leaves behind a hooded boy.

"Ah!?" she yells. It was like a ghost had just passes through the man and stepped into their Realm, but was he solid? He reach out a hand towards her. Cindi was hesitant. She didn't want to even look at the unnatural darkness that was under his hood. The boy was now in her face. She didn't even have time to gasp before she was unnaturally thrown by him one handed into the street. She landed in the puddle. Worried she was going to hit her face on the street under the puddle for only a moment before she sunk in. It was like there was an entire ocean. She tried to swim up, but it was like she was stone sinking farther and farther. She only had enough time to she the light of the surface quickly get smaller and smaller.

She was in total darkness now. She wasn't sure if she was falling or suspended still in in the pitch black. She closed her eye's to the peace only to be awoken by a light so bright it pierced he eyelids. She looked up to she a stain-glass portrait of herself sleeping.

As her feet touched down it was like weightlessness. She looked around, but found nothing but the solemn Station glowing and the endless darkness. She walked to the edge to look over. "Nothing down there" she said to herself. She turned around to a strange sound of wind. There was a solid circular shadow. She took one step closer only to have a shadow jump at her.

She side stepped and let the shadow fall of of the pillar. She only could make out the solid yellow eyes as it floated down into darkness. "Heartless!" She heard a voice yell. She was now surrounded by a dozen shadows. "You need to fight!" the voice commanded.

She stepped back, but there were heartless behind her now. "Okay" she said. A heartless jumped at her. "You asked for it!" she yelled as she let a fist lash out at the creature. A light blinded her. All Cindi could hear was a chiming and wind warping around her. She looked back at her hand to find a fiery hilt to a strange solid object.

"The key to unlocking all. The weapon that seals it all away." the voice said. "Keyblade."

The pillar is consumed by a glob of blackness. Cindi struggles, but sinks in. She wakes up with the strange weapon gone. "Heartless," the voice cuts out "darkness made real. They aren't the only enemy here." Darkness wraps around and forms a sphere. The hooded boy walks out of it as it dissipates.

"You're the one who brought me here." Cindi accuses. He is covered with a red aura and changes to a black and blood red shrivel.

"Hearts forced to sleep, while their light does, their darkness doesn't." it jumps out and attacks her. She finds she can bring the keyblade just by wanting it to be. She attacks it. With a few swipes it starts to fade away. She fights off another that has appeared. Cindi holds her key with one hand and the arm bent to her side, key pointed towarded her opponent as thow she was going to shank at them. The other hand is held out to balance her knee bent stance.

With the new creatures gone she walks back to the center of the pillar. She looks at the glass portrait of her face. Without her knowing her shadow grows. "Don't stare at yourself long enough for the light in your face to fade." the voice says.

A large dark being with slender arms wraps itself around the pillar. "Torment" the voice says as Cindi backs away. "The darkness left over with no purpose." She goes back to here homemade stance. She finds she can now jump higher than usual. This makes it easy to avoid any attack from this thing. She knows what it is though. A feeling of what it is. Pain. She jumps up and lashes out at it's mid section.

The Torment is wavering now. It flails it's arm in one last attack. Cindi jumps on it's hand and runs up its long arm. She thrusts the key into its face. She jumps down as the Torment gaint fades away. Tendrils of darkness wrap around her. "Light!" Cindi is lying on the floor of the Station pillar. She stands up to she a keyhole. It shines with radiance and light.

A swirl of darkness wraps itself around the keyhole. A girl forms out of the darkness. She is wearing old cloths, a short sleeve jacket and a Mask. her black hair is braided. The mask is full faced and black. "Hello" she says. "I am *****"

"What" Cindi asks. "Sorry, I didn't hear you. "You said your name is..... what?

"That is the thing about torments" she explained. "No names, no purpose, only darkness." Cindi was a little surprised this girl was calling herself a Torment. "Darkness and light" a heart appeared in her hand. "Everyone has one. A heart, even me, but mine is lost in darkness. You are lucky, don't lose your heart."

Cindi wakes up in her room. "A heart" she touches her chest. "darkness......... I will make sure I won't lose my heart to it." The next day she repeats her school routine.

"Hey! You get back here!" Adam smiles and runs after Imber as fast as he can. For Adam it is easy to catch up to almost anyone. Even though he's no track star, he can give them a run for their money, literally! Adam swiftly kicks the ball away from Imber.

"Can't you ever let me get a goal?" Imber starts to laugh. Adam takes the ball and bounds it forward.

"Nope" Adam kicks the ball from halfway across the field into the next. A satisfying win. Imber jumps up and hollers "Goal!" Adam looks back and starts to run to do a cartwheel. A boy with a hood runs passed him at full speed nearly knocking him over. "What the?" before Adam can process the information the boy steals his ball and darts off the field.

"Where do you think you are going with my ball knuckle-head!?" Adam yells as he runs faster than he ever remembers running. Adam follows the boy through the streets and up to road, passed the school and towards his own house. The red home comes into view. "You are going to need to be faster than that!" yells Adam.

The boy quickly takes a sharp left straight into Adams house. 'What does he think he is doing?' Adam thinks. Adam burst into the front door. He scans his house for the intruder. 'Is this another one of Imbers lame jokes?'. Adam opens the door to his back yard. Something catches his eye. Floating gently his pool is his soccer ball.

"Imber this is the worst prank you have pulled!" Adam laughs. He walks to the pool and stands on the edge, one arm reaching out to the ball.

Adam feels a hand on his back. "Tag you're it" says an unfamiliar voice. The air around him becomes dark and cold as he is launched head first into the pool.'This is deeper than I remember.' Adam thinks. He looks up to see the light of the world grow smaller and smaller.

Adam tries to hold his breath and swim back up by it is like a current is sending him farther and farther down. He finally gives in and takes a deep breath of water.

'Salty?!' He breaths in and out. Is this water? He looks up. 'Wait no this is looking down. I was flipped upside-down trying to swim up. He looks down to see a soft glow. As he gets closer, he sees himself in glass, lying to the right, eyes closed. The Faces of Imber, and Chitsa hang in to center.

Adam lands softly as though he is still floating in water. He looks down at Chitsa and Imber, his best friends. "If you succeed you won't have to leave your friends." a voice calls out to him.

Adam turns around but only finds endless darkness. "Who's there?" He calls out. in front of him a keyhole appears. It radiates with a faint light. The light fades away and darkness engulfs the keyhole. A man, maybe two years older than Adam is, appears out of the darkness. He is wearing loose black jeans and a dull gray long sweater. His face is covered by a black mask.

"Who are you? Where am I?" Adam asked. The man lifts one hand towards Adam for him to take.

"Go to the darkness, go to the light." A sphere of light appears on the floor just above Imber and Chitsa's faces. "This is your light." the voice says. The floor begins to be engulfed by darkness. The man is now wearing chain-mail instead of a sweater. He is pulsing with darkness. Adam jumps for the light but it grabbed by a dark coil that is now wrapping around his leg. Adam continues to reach, but he couldn't extend his arm far enough. He gave up and closed his eyes.

"Chitz, Imber" he says as the darkness overcomes him. He opens his yes and sees a light glowing in his face. Adam was now lying on his back. As he stood up the light flew around him and then settled in front of him. Adam reached out to take the light. It went to his hand and glowed brightly before fading. "Keyblade" the voice said.

What he could only imagine being a 'key-blade' was now in his hand.

The keyblade starts to glow. It is so bright that Adam has to look away. "The light will bring out the best, and worst in a person." says the voice. Adam's shadow starts to grow. He turns around to see a creature with blood red eyes. "Torments!" more, smaller torments start to appear. Adam is to afraid to move. The torments advance. The torment grabs at Adam!

"Chitsa! Imber!" Adam yells.

"You're going to need to learn how do do things on your own." says a deeper voice. It was the torment! It was speaking?

Adam jumps up and strikes at a torment, another, and then another. The largest on wraps it's arms around Adam. Adam is constricted and can't move. He drops his keyblase to the floor. "You are not strong enough to win." says the torment.

Adam reaches this hand open towards his key. It reappears in his hand. The torment does not stops it's grip though. "You are weak!" says the torment.

"Well I'll prove you wrong! CHITZ! IMBER!" He points his key at the torment and a beam of light shoots out of it. The torment lets go and starts to fade away.

"Let's see how you do when you need to put your faith in someone.............new." the torment faded into darkness.

Adam stands alone on the empty pillar. He looks down at his friends stain glass pictures. "Thanks you guys." Even though he doesn't know why he is thanking them.

Two spheres of light fall from the darkness above. Adam steps away as they fall and hit a blank area by his friends pictures. Two new faces appear. "Who are the-" adam wakes up on a lawn chair in his back yard.
