Welp, this is turning out more like the Commission than I expected. Forty-seven machinegun posts in just six hours. It'll probably be worse than what was observed in the Commission too, purely by virtue of the newer roleplayers making shorter posts.

I'll also work on it as well. Started off decently enough, but got a bit careless and sped things up as the RP kicked off. Aim for maybe four or five paragraphs (five sentences each) per post and grow from there?

No, I'm not suggesting it's at all bad. It's just a style of writing roleplaying. Sometimes it can be daunting to look at a roleplay after you've been away for a day and see sixty new posts having popped up. I won't say it about everyone, but that was something I certainly experienced in my very first roleplays.

They? I'm not trying to get you guys to do anything. If you settle down into a rhythm that everyone is comfortable with - and that rhythm happens to be machinegun posting - by all means, continue with it.

I was merely making an observation, because the situation reminded be of another roleplay. I never said it was a bad way to roleplay, nor was it my intent to come across as saying such.

sorry...its just that im not good at making my posts long cuase im used to a really short style of rp, and i was pretty miffed that you deleted my post on the other rp. i understand it was really short, but im just mad you didnt just ask me to make it longer instead of making me delete it altogther...

I do admit this is true. However, I would also admit that it is also true when several large posts come up. But just the same, you do bring a good point to the pacing. ^_^

But seriously, my apologies. I believe you were offline at the time, and that post was still one that had yet to be responded to or built upon. I deleted it promptly then because if I had left it there and someone had then continued on from what you had written, it could have made it difficult for you to then effectively edit the post.

Okay folks, here's a tip I highly recommend everyone heeds to: For each RP post we make, aim for at least two paragraphs, five sentences each, per post. If you can write more than that, that's great, but two paragraphs per post is what we'd like everyone to aim for for now.

Also, I'm NOT trying to criticize, I know I've screwed up with my own name like, three times so far, but everyone make sure you spell check your work. This isn't a race, we're all patient, so take your time and really put your passion into it, then make sure your passion didn't make you mess up, as passion often does.
