Re: Official Re:CoM in North America Thread

Well, I am sorry, I didn't know that. And I wasn't forcing him, I was just saying that it was weird how he talked.

It wouldn't be great if they delayed the three games and decided to give us RE: CoM as a compensation but it wouldn't be surprising either.

thats what i meant for here. Geez Japan and here just need to like fuse. Hell ya.

no, I meant they bring out RE:CoM for NA because they're delaying it for here and they don't want us to riot. XD

It took me like, three times to understand that.
But now I understand.

Or, again, to remind people who the Org members were in time for 358.... also I remember someone saying that a friend didn't understand why KH2 had Organization XIII when they didn't have 13 members. This would clear that up very nicely too.

That's something I didn't think about. XD
That makes sense.

I'd believe it if someone told me there are a lot of KH fans who didn't play CoM on the GBA. I remember it totally not being my style Stupid genius battle system with awkward controls.

Yeah, for me it was strange at first how the battle system was but when you think about it. It really is perferct for the GBA.

Until you broke the L and R buttons by pressing them too much...

But it works, Nintendo Hand Helds don't really suit as a button masher (we are excluding the touch screen here since that depends)

Re: Official Re:CoM in North America Thread

CoM was the exact opposite of a button masher, unless you went into a battle without any card preparation.

That's what I said. CoM specifically and GBA in general were not button mashers.

The directional buttons pissed me off. :<
Shoot me, but I thought the controls were hella awkward.

You used the L & R buttons to scroll through your cards, and you pressed them at the same time to choose one of them for a sleight.

After about 3 playthroughs of CoM, my brother suddenly noticed our R button on our SP kind of stopped working all the time. it wasn't being a button masher, but we still broke our buttons.

The battle mechanics will be orgasmic with the PS2 controller. >_<

I honestly don't know how well I'll transition to the PS2 controller.

I'm so used to the GBA.

Mm, me too.
Hopefully the transition will be a positive, convenient thing of wonder.

What are the controls like for the Japanese version, Choco-chan?

Same L/R/Triangle for scrolling/sleights.

The X and O are mismatched so It's O for attack and X for Jump. That will probably change when they Import it.

The Analog Sticks work more or less the same.

The only thing that will drive you to madness is when Confuse is cast on you by a trap. You need to head in the opposite direction that your intending.

Square is used for the decks

Start is used for the Menu

Select changes your decks mid battle

(I'm probably confusing 1 or 2 of these controls.)

So yeah controls are good and easy to figure out. :3
