Re: The official Re:CoM in North America thread.

The menus are in English.

=D

You mean, like when you start a new game? I am not sure that is something that is necessary to look forward with such enthusiasm.

No, like the start menu, the card menu, etc.

Hey, I needed an icebreaker, and that's all I could think of. D:

Re: The official Re:CoM in North America thread.

I really hope that the commands are easier to use than what they we in the GBA version (though they were limited due to the platform, GBA was not a good selection to release it on). I also hope that they don't have the reaction command. Sure it was good to use in KH 2 (especially for the Sephiroth battle, Thank-You!!!) But I just think that it's kind of a lazy gamers way of playing (but it did take away from the button mashing frmo KH, Xp ). I think it would be hard enough to actually shuffle through your deck while batling, so hopefully Nomura isn't evil enough to put a reaction command twist to things. ^^; But I can't wait to play it on the Big Screen! I hated the GBA screen....

What?! GBA Was the only station to bring that game out on that would have worked. And WHAT!? Reaction Commands were my favroite part of the KH2, They have to stay

Not surprisingly, I'm sure, I don't find that to be a big deal, because I can read the menus just fine. :v With my l33t katakana skillz.

True, True. But I mean, why not just release it on PS2 in the first place? Instead of having to re-do it after releasig it on GBA. Plus, the actors (no Offense to Haley!) voices have changed, which will make cutscenes kind of awkard. Unless there's a way they can alter thier voices. It's just hard to imagine Sora's KH2 voice to KH Sora's looks...... (I don't think puberty hits him THAT fast). But I'll still love it.

=/ Because it was a small sidestory and they wanted to make a portable KH game. Not a console one.

Uh, I'm gonna pick this up.

Also, if it's anywhere near as good as the GBA version, It'll be amazing.

To put it in the words of Nomura "I heard that kids wanted to play KH on the GBA."

That's why.

I can understand the logic behind it being a side story thus ending up on a portable (Days, BBS, Coded), but a small side story? :\ so far CoM was the only game linking directly to what appears to be the main plot story with the background for the Organization and Castle Oblivion, let alone Memories, which seem to be overshadowing Hearts more and more the more we know.
I mean, BBS displaying the bonds between Hearts? Memories, kthxbai, anyone? :\

In a way, that is the most retarded thing ever but I like being able to play KH anywhere.

By "small", I meant "short", not "of limited relevance/importance". :v

Re: The official Re:CoM in North America thread.

And how did Noruma attract little kids?

1) He offered them 'candy'
2) he let them play with his 'Keyblade'

*cough*

By "small", I meant "short", not "of limited relevance/importance". :v

And yet it apparently ranged over several months.

And how did Noruma attract little kids? He put the game in a shiny, silver box. It was very shiny indeed................

Easy, he combined three things that children loved at that time

Disney Characters
Chibi Sora,Donald, and Goofy
And Yu-Gi-Oh!

The actual story and game itself did seem short, consideing all ya had to do was get a card and open a door.

But the rooms seemed to take forever to get through (especially the teaming darkness cards, but not so much the stagnant space cards, :p).

The sad thing is that is that only time (I think) he listen to fans. T^T

Maybe he listened when we said we wanted FM+ in the US. He just gave us the exact opposite though.

(please keep Axel swearing and Zexion's death scene. Please keep Axel swearing and Zexion's death scene)

What, those are my two big memories. And it was my first KH game.

And considering the fact I can't read Japanese, I am VERY looking forward to this in English.
