The recent JP update came out, and I like the idea of Ralph as a boss.

I just want to declare that I love Toy Box’s battle music so much.
In general, I think KH3 has my favorite level themes for Disney worlds. Pretty much every Disney world tune gets stuck in my head. I gather I’m in the minority, but Carribean’s battle music is SO much better to me than just using “He’s a Pirate” again.

You are probably tired of my likes, but we seem to agree on everything lol. I love KH3's Disney music too, but I have one gripe: Monsters' music is great but it doesn't really remind me of the movie. It sounds rather happy and I associate it with the fact that they collect laughs now, but it still seems a bit out of place to me.

Meh, the alternative would have just been an instrumental “If I Didn’t Have You” which wouldn’t have been nearly as fun as what we got.
And I keep forgetting we have Likes now!

I liked that they had small prompts with Rapunzel like following the rabbits or casting aero on the dandelions. Nothing of substance, just cute little world-building interactions.

Being able to get the Black Pearl back as a price for leveling the ship up was a neat feature. I like both ships. Glad both were then an option.

I would say it almost does TOO well to build a connection between the player and Rapunzel, since it inadvertently means she and Sora have better chemistry than she with Flynn (but that’s hardly the game at fault since it’s not like Nomura would be allowed to dump Eugene in favor of shipping her with his OC). The bit with Sora and Rapunzel playing in the water is something right out of a “falling in love” montage, and I find it genuinely adorable that it was likely unintended to be seen that way. It’s like, whoops, we accidentally wrote a good romance, but we have to stick to Disney canon!

I never discovered until my Critical playthrough that you can go swimming in the village in Corona! I know there's the river in the forest, but never thought to dive into the lake by the castle. Kind of just stupidly assumed it was out of bounds or something. Now I wish I could go diving like Caribbean!

I love that the boss theme for the Unversed slime boss was a remix of BBS's Unforgettable. That's seriously one of the best boss themes in the series

I love that Goofy’s the only one who can make any sense out of the plot in At World’s End.

On a less cynical note, the bit where SDG say their goodbyes to Elizabeth is really cute. “Elizabeth...” “Take care..”.

KH3's FMVs gives Roxas darker hair than Ven. It'd be nice if this carries over into everything else.

You know what friendship is?
Friendship is finally having the opportunity to go home after a long, long, long journey and battle...but offering to keep journeying with your friend anyway because he lost his girlfriend.
Donald and Goofy are real pals, man. Critical Mode was such a joy to go through with them....not to mention it was exciting to finally die over and over in a KH game, something that hasn't happened since my first day playing Giant Ursula in KH1.

I like how Big Hero 6 get inspired when Sora shows off his different abilities in San Fransokyo.

San Fransokyo's field music is so relaxing during the day whilst the battle theme at night has a really banging club music/synth-pop vibe. You know, if it wasn't for Spider-Man PS4, San Fransokyo would have been praised as a beautiful looking city level.

I'm so glad this happened because it shows that Disney is still willing to have their characters be bosses.

I was so stubbornly against the idea of Wreck-It Ralph being delegated to mobile, but now that I see the execution of the world, it's clear that Wreck-It Ralph seems to be the Tron of the Disney worlds with it's more lore orientated synergy with Union Cross.

Something good came out of Guardian's outcome in KH III.
Now that it's confirmed Guardian isn't a Heartless, the fact thatit isn't registered in the Journal in KH1 doesn't mean anything, which in turn means that Anti-Sora and Sora's Shadow from Neverland ALSO not appearing in the Journal is yet another proof of them not being Heartless either.

The older one gets, the more one gets bored of cynicism and decides that one, such as myself, kind of enjoys KH2 Atlantica.

The ending bit with Ariel and Eric is really cute, and better than their interactions in the film (and that's not easy for me to declare, as Little Mermaid will forever be in my top three Disney movies regardless).

I more and more appreciate KH3 is happy to get to the point and cut to the chase with its Olympus prologue. I do think the ideal approach would have been to include the Aqua prologue as an optional opening (should the player wish so), but as is, it makes KH3 very easy to jump in and revisit.

Riku's character development is one of my favourites ever.

I didn't him in KH1. I thought he was a jerk and that's why I didn't feel sorry for him for staying on the other side in the end. However, once his redemption arc officially begins in Chain of Memories, he starts getting interesting and now I love him. He's actually inspiring.

His development has been smooth. I never felt it was forced or redundant. He's maturing naturally.

In the next saga, I would like him to use his Keyblade Master title and officially have a student.
It will be interesting to also see how further Nomura will go with Riku x Naminé, because they seem to be a jab to Noctis x Luna and any scrapped writing for FF Versus 13 may be used here. Noctis and Luna barely interacted with each other.

Perhaps it was for the best that the world didn't bother following the movie that much.
