Some Organization XIII characters in 358/2 days are horrible to play in single player.

Speaking of which; I wish Days could've had a single player-friendly variant of the multiplayer mode, or at least made it so you could play single player as the other characters after finishing the game.

Wanting to experience the novelty of playing as the other Org members and unlockable characters, but having to do it via missions that are impossible to get through without the help of other players was not fun.

Um, you CAN play it single player. Problem is it ain't balanced well and you either gotta grind a lot or stick with crit damage characters (Critical Hits are so OP in this game).

Ms. Shimomura really kinda phones it in with the end credits orchestrals after KH2.

KH1's music is a beautiful, triumphant but bittersweet piece that builds off of "Always on My Mind", and which perfectly encapsulates the ending we just watched.

KH2's music is a majestic, victory fanfare that incorporates and remixes little bits and bobs from other important musical pieces from throughout the series up to that point (a flourish of "Destati" here, a sampling of "Another Side" there), which again, fits the games ending perfectly.

…and then you have BbS, DDD and KH3 just opting for medleys of slightly rearranged versions of character and battle themes that are all over the place tonally.

Like, BbS's brief rearrangements of Aqua and Ven's theme sound really nice and fitting for the ending we just got, but not the upbeat and jovial battle themes of Neverland and Dwarf Woodlands.

Yeah, I was fine with the medleys for BBS and DDD since they were smaller titles, and in BBS's case you'd hear it three times, so you might not want to oversell the grandeur, but KH3 just being another medley was so sad and filled me with disappointment unlike anything I could have ever imagined. I really thought Shimomura had it locked down after how beautiful the KH3 rendition of Dearly Beloved was, but KH3's credits theme felt very uncircumstancial.

I mean the medley you get in the final story credits, not the three main campaigns, which just uses the Hikari orchestral.
Oh shoot, I failed to remember that. I've only made it through BBS like three times and I don't feel keen on returning lol

The damage committed to KH1's box art by the red Greatest Hits sleeve will never be forgiven, and I'm fortunate to have a copy of the OG.

KH3's felt even less like a KH medley outside of like the start and end

It was more of a "Disney World Medley" than even BBS since at least that one didn't take up like a large of the track time with Disney battle music

How's this for a nitpick:

Those gears aren't rotating properly. One or the other should be going in the opposite direction.

I think they should’ve set KH4 after the time skip in Re:Mind. More specifically, directly after Melody of Memory so the to games can be bridged more naturally.

...isn't that what they're doing though
Yup. Some fans refuse to believe this, though, because they find it unlikely that Sora was just floating or chilling for a year before getting to Quadratum.

Replaying KHFM and my nitpick is that they didn't do a playable Riku section when it shows him in the dark world. The camera panned to where it would be if he was playable and everything. (For context, it's the unvoiced cutscene that was added to FM after he was defeated in Hollow Bastion)
