Added Atlantica, Mysterious Tower and possible other worlds that have confirmed gameplay segments.
Haha, I was actually so inspired by yours I made my own (very crappily though, and I used low quality images for the KH3 worlds >_>)! I probably have forgotten a world or two and I probably
shouldn't have included Castle Oblivion since it's not actually been confirmed, as it's just an educated guess since the Land of Departure needs to be reverted at some point
People can still be disappointed for a game that took over 5 years has the least amount of worlds in the numerical series when it should be the opposite especially with the power of the PS4 and that is what many expected from June 2013 when the game was first announced.
I never said people can't or shouldn't be disappointed. It's a reality, people will be disappointed in the game and I acknowledge that. You also seem to be forgetting that with the power of the PS4 and Xbox One, they have increased the graphical fidelity of every single world and increased the scope and scale as well. THAT's the power of these consoles.
Cause right now the world count of this game is embarrassingly low.
In my graphic above I show that there's currently one more overall world in Kingdom Hearts 3 than Kingdom Hearts 2. I included cutscene only worlds in both of them, and I was generous with giving KH2 the End of Sea (a trade off, I suppose, for giving KH3 Castle Oblivion).
I also don't like how your bashing the other games.
Kingdom Hearts I I will agree, majority of the worlds very much don't have a lot going for them. I'd say the biggest worlds in the game were the original worlds especially Hallow Bastion and The End of Worlds.
But Kingdom Hearts II I will defend to the grave. The worlds were a lot bigger and had many many more areas to work with. Not even including the mini game worlds KH2 gave you so much content while also keeping an impressive scale and increase from the original as it should since it's a sequel. They were not boxed in as you claim they were. The only world I could even say was that was potentially Disney Castle/Timeless River. But every other world had plenty going for them and that also includes the original worlds as well. Kingdom Hearts II had the perfect balance. It was IMO the perfect game to me.
KH2 worlds were slightly bigger than KH1 worlds, but they were lifeless and less vertical. You can't deny that unless you're blinded by your love for Kingdom Hearts 2.
This is the map for Beasts Castle

These worlds are not big. They are corridors and boxes. This was one of the biggest complaints about Kingdom Hearts 2 a decade ago, since the worlds were like this without any verticality or Disney charm. We have literally seen Kingdom Hearts 3 worlds be a lot bigger than these maps. Olympus is probably at least 3 times the size of the world in KH2. We have seen how big the first two floors of Galaxy Toys is, how open and wide the areas are.
KH3 will please me, it's a Kingdom Hearts title, there's not been a single KH title I have not loved wholeheartedly but I am displeased at the smallest amount of worlds in the series, even BBS has more worlds then KH3. I expected more from them as they themselves even said they would increase the number of worlds every game and that they would be looking to go bigger and better and this does not show that at all. It shows that they delayed the game too much and all those ideas or worlds they wanted to do was scrapped. In 2015 alone they were saying how they plan to have the most Disney Worlds in the series. Fast Forward a year later they said it'd have the most worlds in the series but have a smaller amount of Disney Worlds then KH2. Now it's looking like even that statement isn't even accurate.
Kingdom Hearts 3 is not going to please you. Anyone on this forum can see this because you've done nothing but complain about the game for months now. I can not possible fathom how you are actually going to enjoy it at all when you are nothing but negative about the game. I want you to enjoy it, I really do, but from how adamant you are about being disappointed in every new piece of media shown I really can't see you coming off it being happy.
While you seem perfectly fine and being told something and then having something change and just accepting it and shrugging off is A-OK others can feel disappointed and doubtful at the other things they've said about the game.
I'm more understanding of how much pressure was on Osaka, as well as what they have actually accomplished. Guess what! I AM disappointed that there's not at least another Disney world. I would have LOVED Treasure Planet or Princess and the Frog. But I also understand that the game is launching in like 33-34 days in Japan. It's highly unlikely that they'll announce another world. Is it possible? Yes, and I've never denied that. It's just Kingdom Hearts 3 is working on a different schedule to previous games. The reveals are different, what the marketing team is doing this time around is different and it's because of this that I personally don't see another world being announced at this point in time.
People are impressed. Disney is impressed. You are not impressed. I wish everyone, including you, can enjoy what the Osaka team has delivered but your attitude these last couple of months tell me that you won't be happy at the end and I just wonder why you're putting yourself through all this stress and disappointment.
