which is why most keyblades now are less edgey and more ages 6 and upI can't shake off the feeling that Disney just started meddling during production.
And how Vanitas and Luxord are easily taken out by Sulley and Jack.which is why most keyblades now are less edgey and more ages 6 and up
Spoiler ShowIf Disney has something to do we will have a better treatment of the females by their last movies .
Spoiler ShowIf something involve Disney in my opinion is the lack of Final Fantasy
I forget that .And how Vanitas and Luxord are easily taken out by Sulley and Jack.
And how the dev team had to be very restricted regarding Frozen
and how freaking Dolan just whips out a random spell that one-shots Terranort in the bad version of the beginning of KG
I think the secret surrounding RoxasAlso, I'm still confused as to why Nomura said Roxas was the biggest secret in KH3. He...really isn't.
Spoiler Showis why he's still able to dual wield. Who wants to take bets he's got "her" heart inside of him and that'll be the key to rescuing the next girl in need? I'm going to laugh if it turns out to be Skuld, because she's the one KH girl-- aside from the Foretellers who I hesitate to regard as real characters-- who hasn't been reduced to a damsel or a victim yet. Ux-era has yet to be secured from the Nomura Effect, haha.
What's the point of continuing the PoH schtick and assigning new ones?
Spoiler ShowBecause this is the only way Nomura knows how to write women. I've been saying since its reveal that I didn't think there was any narrative-specific reason, certainly not to KH3, to justify this revision in the canon, it's just that Nomura does not have any imagination in terms of where his female characters can originate from, or where they can go. And KH3 went out of its way to prove that claim right. The few strong arcs we've had for women in KH have apparently been flukes, like Aqua, who Nomura consistently "underestimates" in terms of her popularity (although I've come to suspect it's not a mistake on his part), and Namine, a character whose arc Nomura obviously did not plan out given the way she's wasted in KH3. Xion is also a bit of an outlier (I know, the fandom will always debate whether she's a "good" character) because of Kanemaki's role in bringing her to life. It's just a shame that fans really gave this game the benefit of the doubt that there was some sort of design to all this, and it proved itself to be totally undeserving of that.
Spoiler ShowI had to freaking look up what the hell Zettaflare was to see if it was actually a spell from FF or a spell from any SE game.
It wasn't.
It's not even the name of a spell.
It's the name of a music album.
The search results were barely even related to it.
I did get this tho
Spoiler ShowI'm more interested in whether Roxas and Xion will play a role in future games?
Just as for me, Roxas is a popular character, besides he is nobody Sora.
Well, he also has two keyblades, which makes him too cool to completely get rid of him.
Spoiler ShowIt's anyone's guess at this point. Roxas and Xion are pretty popular so if Nomura wanted to they could do a new game for them.
From a story standpoint, KH3 wrapped their arcs up pretty well so there isn't a plot tease for them. They could play a role in Lea and Isa's quest to go find their missing friend but they would fill a supporting role more than being the leads again.
Same with Ven's tease with Chirithy and the Union Chi plot and to some degree Sora's quest to find Kairi. They could play a role but they wouldn't be the stars.
So if you want to give Roxas or Xion the lead role again, you gotta find a new desire/goal to drive them forward.

Spoiler ShowHow Land Of Departure's restoration is like an entrance to Disney World.
How Ansem TSOD is freaking gentle around a bunch of kids
How Aqua isn't allowed to finish off Vanitas
How Aqua isn't allowed to express a realistic reaction after her most close companion is axed in front of her.
I bet there's more to give an idea, that they had limitations. With a story that was supposed to be about a bleak war
I thought this was about an impending war. But apparently you can book a tree and enjoy a Paopu fruit, the day before you fight for the end of the world
Spoiler ShowWhat happens regarding Maleficent, Pete, and the black box? Does this just get started as a random plot point and left unresolved? Is it already resolved prior to the final battle, with the contents of said box seemingly not impacting the war itself? Luxord was also looking for a box, so was it really Davy Jones' chest he was looking for, or the black box? How much are we missing prior to the Keyblade Graveyard? Lol
I think the fact that his return is hand-waved in the game makes me believe they will be releasing more story content down the line that covers Roxas' return and his own journey
Spoiler ShowHonestly what made me suspect Roxas may have DLC was that OathKeeper and Oblivion are not equitable keyblades

Spoiler ShowAny idea who the “her†could be? I saw some crazy theories about Naminé but the most popular choice seems to be Skuld? I'd prefer someone that doesn't randomly end up being Isa's gf but who am I fooling, that's probably who she was (or is)
Spoiler ShowIt could be both someone important to Isa and someone we already met. Isa feels more attached to her so it could be a girlfriend or family or just someone he was closer with than Lea. Because Nomura is willing to have Ventus and Marluxia be from the Union era, having other characters make the jump is possible.
So having her be Skuld who became Isa's girlfriend, adoptive older sister, or a new friend is a possible answer.
