Well, could DDD just be a DLC for 2.5? I mean it would be nice to have a super-HD remix of DDD (spending 50GB of Blu-Ray space just for one game) but the risk is kinda big...
I doubt a 30 hour game would be tacked on as DLC.

Kinda glad the capes are gone, honestly. They don't serve any functional purpose, and are just there to look cool. And even then, having played through BBS twice with each character, I'm used to the lack of capes. Going back now might be like what it felt to see them NOT have capes when the game first came out.

Well, I want the capes back, it's kinda annoying (and funny) to see their butts (especially on Terra, how did that guy get the sexy-butt treatment? It should be on Aqua!)...

My guess is that DDD is going to get recapped, or get a Theater treatment. It'd be nice if they had a DDD movie included with KH3, but I can see a few issues with that. First off, it's KH3. It's a PS4 game. Can you imagine seeing the glory of KH in next gen and then watching the upscaled 3DS cutscenes for DDD? It would clash pretty badly. Plus, who's really going to sit there and watch 3 hours of cutscenes before playing KH3? No one. Everyone is just going to want to jump right in to the game.

So, me thinks it will get recapped. Which is a shame cause it's one of the best in the series.

Not quite possible, because would they spend time on a single game to be mastered on another console (Remember, all KH games from Nintendo are only being shown as a theater version)?

Well, it's not entirely outside the realms of plausibility. CoM was ported from GBA to Re:CoM in PS2.

Remember, there are ladies playing the game as well.

The first thing that came to my mind as I read this post: Was Terra's final design created by a lady?

Not only that, but I've heard somewhere that the number of female fans of KH outnumbers the male. I have no idea where I remember hearing/reading that from, so I could be talking out of my ass for all I know. But yes, there are plenty of female fans.

Well I thought they ported it to the PS2 is because the reception of the game was too low despite having a breakthrough for the console (encoding the scenes ins PS2 graphics then ported to the GBA..._

Um, I'm afraid you're missing my point. What I was trying to say is that if we guys are entitled to our opinion regarding Aqua's physique, then so are the girls to their opinion regarding Terra's.

Series creator Tetsuya Nomura designs all the original characters.

That man has a beautiful mind. I know he's not single-handedly responsible for the entirety of the KH mythos (cause he discusses stuff with his team of course) but regardless, it's fascinating. Artistic brains are engines of creation.

No one could port a GBA game to a PS2 and have it looked the way Re:CoM does. That's because it wasn't a port. They completely re-made the game from the ground up. The Osaka team paused development on Birth by Sleep to work on Re:CoM so it could be released with KHIIFM

Ah, yes. In my previous post about CoM -> Re:CoM, I meant to say "remade", not "ported". Thanks, Chaser, for the clarification.

Eraqus' moustache > Ursula's tentacles > Ursula's boobs > Donald's thighs > Riku's bellybutton > Riku's biceps > Xehanort's baldness > Terra's abs > Terra's butt > Terra's boobs > Aqua's boobs.

Sorry, kids:

Sora's impossible-to-dry-in-CGI hair > Eraqus' moustache > Ursula's tentacles > Ursula's boobs > Donald's thighs > Riku's bellybutton > Riku's biceps > Xehanort's baldness > Terra's abs > Terra's butt > Terra's boobs > Aqua's boobs.

Alright, I'm gonna close out the mini-argument here... I was wrong, you guys were right...

On the thing about reception:

The game's reception (story reception and sales) was very good. People's reactions to the difficulty and card system were a turn-off to people, though.

The next person to add on to this is getting both of the sickles in my signature shoved up their bum.

Before you do, there was one I was saving for last that I would like to use.
Xehanort's mesmerizing hands > Sora's impossible-to-dry-in-CGI hair > Eraqus' moustache > Ursula's tentacles > Ursula's boobs > Donald's thighs > Riku's bellybutton > Riku's biceps > Xehanort's baldness > Terra's abs > Terra's butt > Terra's boobs > Aqua's boobs.

Okay, now no more of that.

I need someone to say the words "online," "mirage," and "arena" together in the same sentence in that order through an official medium.

I swear if someone asks Nomura about Mirage Arena online and he says: There will sadly be no ONLINE MIRAGE ARENA...in that order, I'm going to come back to KHi and PM you a very mean gif of a person getting slapped. Mark my words!!!

I don't think that's ever been proven in a study or anything, but I think KH is largely assumed to have a great female-audience because it lends itself to being more feminine with androgynous male tween heroes and Disney while focusing around hearts.

You don't know how badly I want to add onto that just so that you don't get the satisfaction of telling me what to do...

DON'T JINX IT. While it's indeed possible, just don't.

And boy, do I wish that they would add a pause function for the SP Mirage Arena matches. It's not like you can just put your PS3 in sleep mode to continue later like PSP.

You've done your part admirably in adding Donald's thighs onto it.

Initially I think I wanted this, but that would dampen the gauntlet feeling of the Mirage Arena. Also, if we DO get online multiplayer capabilities, I'm sure we'll all be flying through those trials anyways. Plus, pausing during multiplayer would break up the cohesive nature of the online battles anyhow. xD
