Re: HD Remaster/Remake Discussion Thread

I REALLY don't want an iOS game. I cannot express in words how much I don't want an iOS game. I would rather see them make another 3 games before KH3 than see them make an iOS game. I only say that because it will be EXTREMELY hard to replay it in 5-10 years, if we will be able to replay it at all.

I would just be frustated in general.

Nomura at TGS, "We have run out of handheld consoles to put Kingdom Hearts on, so we decided to make an iPhone game! (Laughs)"

He said the next thing would be something "small", a "light-weight" thing. It was all confusing really.

Well, he said a little time ago the next KH will be in a console (like PS3). So, even Nomura doesn't know what the hell his going to do.

Could an HD remake be considered "light-weight"?
Yeah, I suppose to. But I think he's talking about a iOS game.

I doubt it. It could be, but yeah :/

A 'Lightwieght' Title is like what ReCoded was. Simple as that
Please don't state that as a fact. We don't know what Nomura actually meant by "lightweight". We don't know if it will be like Re:Coded or completely different.

Re: HD Remaster/Remake Discussion Thread

Really, we don't know what it means at the moment. It could be anything.

In all honesty, I'm hoping for a collection of plushies.

Best. Lightweight. Ever.

On a serious note, if you'd all look at Mass Effect 3, that had an iOS tie-in that assisted your progress in the big game, so it isn't that far-fetched.

Got to agree with Chaser although it would be in their best interest to finish FFVersusXIII and finally start KH3.

Still I'm hoping for all Final Mixes to be included in this remaster even a extra BBS Final mix would be nice for me.

Over the years, I've learned to stop taking everything Nomura says as absolute. I'll just wait for a formal announcement.

You know I always wanted to ask this, but would it be possible to play your old files on an HD remake? That's one of things that concerns me when I hear that they'll bring some game as HD remake.

Yeah, the PS3 isn't compatible with PS2 memory cards so :\ you've gotta play the game over again.

Re: HD Remaster/Remake Discussion Thread

Watch, the HD collection and the supposed iOS game end up being the same thing.

On a more serious note, an HD collection is starting to seem to me more and more inevitable these days. I just don't like how it's become a trend in general.

I kinda like how it is becoming a trend. It's what the people want after all. Making a collection of a great videogame series spruced up graphically and improved seems like a good thing.

It's especially what the KH series needs after it got spread over so many consoles. Being able to play all the games on one system in a better resolution, with bug fixes and other neat stuff sounds perfect if you ask me.
