Ehhh, I'd have to give some credit to Kismet-chan because she gave me setting ideas and a few character ideas. (She owns Tsuna 100%.) This is my (eh, our) story of what happened AFTER KH:CoM, BEFORE KH2. It's just a short story of darkness, betrayal, loyalty, truth, and a sprinkling of humor. ^^ Please enjoy, I hope you guys like this! (><; The chaps are made to be a lil' short because... well, I want to make the cliffhangers good enough to have you begging for more.) Tis' teh intro.

I pushed open the two large windows that were right above the head of my bed. A loud, bone-rattling bell rang four times as sunshine instantly poured into my room. It was too bright for me. I used my arm to shield my fragile eyes from the sun’s intense rays. Once I was sure that my eyes had adjusted, I let my arm rest aside. Closing my eyes and taking a deep breath, I was in perfect harmony with the world around me. My senses took in everything. The sounds of birds and people, the mental image of rooftops and the sunrise, the smell of the flowers placed out on my balcony.
I opened my eyes to face the horizon. A bright, gleaming star cradled in the embrace of the honey-colored sky. Its warmth touched my soul.
Early morning... always seems to break through even the deepest of dark nights...

“Atsuki-chan! Atsuki-chan!”
A girl with really long, wavy rose-colored locks and beaming crimson eyes was greeted with a rolling of two very sleepy looking amber ones. The owner of these eyes yawned, lifting up her arms from the back of her head into a stretch. Her hair went a little pass her shoulders, was messy with slightly flipped ends, and dark brown.
“Tsuna... Don’t be so loud. I’m still sleepy...”
“Atsuki. You always get up so early in the morning, just so you can watch the silly sun rise?” asked Tsuna, putting her hands on her hips. Atsuki nodded. Tsuna shrugged and said, “Whatever. You’re weird!”
Atsuki arched an eyebrow at Tsuna’s outfit. “Um, why are you wearing a sailor girl uniform? You look like you’re going to school...” she mumbled, trying not to snicker. Tsuna puffed her cheeks out, and elbowed Atsuki lightly in her side. “Meanie! It’s not a uniform! It’s my outfit!” she stated, and Atsuki simply replied, “Whatever.” Tsuna was wearing a really long, short white-sleeved dark periwinkle sailor girl shirt with a white collar lining and a dark purple bow. Her mini skirt and socks were dark purple as well, with black buckled shoes. Her socks came up to her thighs. Tsuna wore her hair in two long ponytails, which were tied with large peach ribbons. Atsuki thought to herself, ‘She looks like a shoujo-manga fan girl...’
“Ah! But what you’re wearing is so cute, Atsuki-chan!” Tsuna cooed, beaming at her. Atsuki folded her arms. “It’s nothing special, only casual. I didn’t overdress, like you tend to sometimes. We’re only going to a soccer game.” she said. Tsuna shrugged and smiled. Atsuki wore nothing but a bright golden yellow shirt that had quarter sleeves, but didn’t rest on her shoulders. Since it split down the middle, she wore a somewhat frilly sleeveless white tank top on the inside. The yellow shirt would zip up, but she had zipped it up to the middle and the rest open so the bottom of the shirt could be seen. (Cute!)
The yellow shirt had jagged ends, and it matched her yellow capris. The capris could be turned into shorts if the bottom part was zipped off, but she left them on. Her yellow and black sneakers had zippers instead of laces. Atsuki adjusted her yellow socks. “Well, are we ready to go?” she asked, while kneeling on the ground. “Yes, yes! Hurry up!” said Tsuna, and Atsuki popped up onto her feet. They both nodded at one another and started running off in the direction of the tournament.

“Ugh! Jarre, you loser!”
“I’m sorry, Atsuki. I tried to save you guys your seats, but they wouldn’t let me!” a boy with scarlet hair and emerald eyes cried. Atsuki leaned against the wall. “We’ll stand, I guess.” she mumbled. Tsuna looked around slowly, and then turned to her friends. “I’ll... be right back.” she said, and hurriedly ran off somewhere. Atsuki and Jarre looked at one another and shrugged. They watched closely as one team dressed in blue was getting badly beaten by the other team, dressed in green. Atsuki sat on Jarre’s lap. “Hey!” Jarre complained. “Get off me!”
Atsuki shook her head playfully. “Nope! You didn’t save me a seat. So you’re gonna be my seat!” she joked, struggling to keep Jarre from pushing her off. But he finally got her to slide off, and Atsuki landed on her behind. “Ow!” she yipped. Jarre stuck out his tongue. “I’ll remember this...” Atsuki mumbled, standing up. “And it’s half-time, people! Go get yourself some snacks, or something’!” the game announcer’s voice echoed throughout the field. Jarre folded his arms behind his head. “We’ve lost. Our team never wins... Their defense sucks.” he pouted.
“Tell me something I don’t know.” Atsuki said sadly, putting her hands on her hips. “Hmm, where’d Tsuna go? She’s been gone for a bit.” she wondered. “Eh... It’s hard to keep track of everyone here in Javelin Town.” muttered Jarre. ‘Javelin Town... I’ve been here all my life. But, just what exactly is out there? What’s beyond that giant metal gate...?’
--
“It’s almost finished.”
“And have you chosen its wielder? You do know that the one who will stop him cannot be pure-hearted, but not aware of it...”
“Not to worry, my dark queen. We have selected an interesting person to be our pawn. But...”
“But what?”
“I...”
“Out with it, you silly girl! You know I despise any sort of game.”
“It’s nothing! Nothing at all!”
“If you truly plan on joining The Organization... Then don’t you dare let this all go to your head, Xanust...”

Welp, that's it for now! (Note: Xanust is pronounced 'Zan-nu'! NOT 'Zan-nust'! XD)
