Hey everyone. I posted this way back in February back when the Japanese version of BBS was just out, but I wanted to post this again now that the English version is available.
For the most part, each story is easy to follow from one to another. You see the events that happened in one story and connect it with another. One character affects something in the world and the other characters encounter the conflict later (particularly when Terra goes to the world first). The characters unite at certain points for a uniform cutscene and then have their own stories separate again.
What I was thinking was that someone should chain together the events and cutscenes into one nice uniform "movie." This is not a playthrough of the game. There's no load times and the character cutscenes change in order of the timeline they follow in.
Let me explain with an example.
You begin by showing the events of the Land of Departure in the order they are shown. When the Mark of Mastery Exam is shown, all three have the same cutscene. After this cutscene however (when they begin to split up and are about to leave the world), you can start to focus on the characters individually based on an established order of events (gee, I don't know; maybe like a movie).
You would then start with Terra heading to Enchanted Dominion (the first world to be impacted by a character) and show the scenes involving him there.
After this, you could show the events that begin in Ven's story as this is his first world in the game so far (up until he heads to the woods to find Snow White). He could meet the dwarfs and find out about going to the woods.
At this point, the story shifts yet again to Terra's story where he meets the queen and goes and scares Snow White away (sort of).
Then Ven runs into her in the woods and escorts her.
Etc., etc., etc.
Obviously with this long example, you get what I'm saying.
What do you think of this? Wouldn't this help put the worlds in a more interesting order of events? If this has already been done, can somebody give me a link to the videos?
If this hasn't been done before, someone should totally do it.
Please reply and send feedback.
