"What a beautiful morning! The suns out the birds are chirping, and the bees are buzzing! You are listening to Machinecken 13.7FM Radio!"

Machinecken town, A town built that took decades rising from a small village to a kingdom. Now a guarded place rests in the center, and machinery everywhere around the town. Even the fountains have gears that bring them out during the day and underneath the ground when it rains.

People busy, rushing to get on with their day, kids laughing on their way to school, the baker baking, the piper piping, the fishermen fishing. This town was full of life, and sound. (~Que in Belle's theme song (Beauty and the beast)~) The town was beautiful, brick side walks, house's that lined up side by side, and of course, place guards walking up and down the streets, with smiles on their face. Everyone saying "What a beautiful day!"

Toukan Arashi

"Gasp!" Toukan woke up covered in water, as a lady from the roof who was watering her plants decided to water him.
"A young man shouldn't be asleep on such a marvelous morning! Get up be productive and get on with your life, you hear me!" she said with a smirk on her face going back inside.

"Well that was rude... wait.. what in t....he...." Toukan got up and began observing his surroundings. This new world full of technological advancements the sun shining bright, the town shining... "Where.... Where am i...." when suddenly everything that just happened, hit him at once " RAIN ACE!" The questions began to rise, over an over when he grabbed his head, and felt something on it.... "Ace... your... mask... Huh it wont.. it wont come off... Weird, oh well"

Where were they... Toukan began to wonder. He couldn't... No He wouldn't think of the worst. "First things first. I need to know where I am." When as if right on Que, a man in armor began walking his way. He ran up to him "Uh... Hi sir, um... can u..."

The soldier looked down "Hmm. Shouldn't you be in classes or training? I mean after all it is such a Glorious day to do so!" the soldier said cutting Toukan off.

"Um actually. um sir..
"Toukan started to studder

"Well spit it out boy! I cant waste this marvelous day talking to you, well can i!? The solder said annoyed

"Whe...re.. Am i? " Toukan said uneasily

"What do you mean "where are you"? Your obviously in our wonderful town, Machinecken Town." the soldier said still annoyed.

" Machinecken Town... So... this isn't Rectorm?" Toukan said confusingly

"...Rectorm? And that is... GASP! YOUR FROM ANOTHER WORLD! WHERE IS YOUR VISITORS BADGE!" The Soldier began to get flustered"ALL VISITORS FROM OTHER WORLDS ARE REQUIRED TO HAVE ID BADGES LOCKED ON THEIR CHEST AT ALL TIMES!"

Toukan jumped back, "um. ID Badges? Uh sir.. I just woke..."

"This will be stood for! You are under arrest with accordance to the Visitation From Other Worlders Law!" The soldier said with a proud voice

"Well you see... um.. i have a perfectly reasonable......BYE" Toukan took off running, the soldier chasing after him .

Syn opened his eyes and shook his head. The sun was bearing down on him again. He didn't like being basked in light and he wasn't even sure how he got here. He shook his head and stood up. People, grinning, walking down the streets. Soldiers with stupid looks on their faces. What kind of world had he found himself in?

He leapt to his feet and walked up to the nearest soldier. "Excuse me, but I'm in no mood for sunshine and smiles. I need to know where I am, why I'm here, and how I get out."

The guard stuttered at the rudeness of this strange looking boy. Why wouldn't anyone be happy with such a beautiful day? This town was full of wonders and he has a look of someone with utter disgust.

"This is Machinecken Town, and I'm not entirely sure that you belong here. We have rules about visitor's passes if you come from another World and I'm going to have to take you down to-"

Suddenly there was a commotion of someone running down the street away from another guard. Syn watched the boy run from the guard. Syn saw that the guard he was speaking to was fumbling in his head to either help chase or to stick around and used the opportunity to leap up a nearby building and run off without being seen.

"Machinecken Town, huh? These guards seem to happy to do any real harm to anyone, but I guess I should make sure that kids okay."

He glanced down to find the bright blue hair of the masked boy being chased and ran across the rooftops in that direction.

Sending out my soul to worlds more beautiful
~- Sun and Exhaustion -~

Henry opened his eyes, trying to figure out where he was. He looked around him, trying to adjust to the bright sunlight. He pushed out his senses, feeling the happy souls that roamed the world. In that regard, it wasn't too much different from Imperial Island; but something about this cheerfulness seemed exhausting. Walking down the alleyway he found himself, he saw a guard and carefully approached them. "Hey, where am I? I'm afraid I have no clue where I am. Haha, I don’t come into town often." He called, even so he searched their soul's aura. It seemed like they were kind, and he sensed they way they shied away from him before they were back to being cheerful.

Well, that's interesting. He thought to himself, staring at their smiling face, Henry was more interested in their soul. It seemed like it recognized what Henry could do, it kept fidgeting away from him. The woman smiled, her eyes holding a fake warmth as she chirped, "You're in Machinecken Town silly! Welcome, and if you're not from here you need a visitor's badge."

Henry pondered the information, choosing his next words carefully. Still, his attention was drawn to the unease current she held beneath her cheerful facade. "Okay, do you know where I can get one? I'm afraid I just woke up here, I have no idea how though." He said nonchalantly.

Laughing, the woman chimed, "That's easy, just go to the front gate and request one! It's straight ahead."

Muttering a quick thanks, Henry started to walk away only to pause for a moment. Glancing over his shoulder, Henry intoned, "By the way, you don't need to be afraid of me. A fake cheer is stupid, just relax." He didn't wait to see how she'd react, he quickly walked away from her.

He dodged the other citizens, noticing the way that they all seemed happy about it as their souls shied away. Such pathetic mortals, they all fear the embrace of death. They refuse to accept that you can't live without dying. They take things for granted, he thought, disgust creeping into each syllable. He was sure that it was actually Izanami that felt that, but a tiny part of him wondered if it was actually himself.

Shivering suddenly, Henry turned his face to the sun and closed his eyes, listening. He heard many things, and felt even more. Feeling the official's soul that he could get the badge from, Henry moved in that direction to get what he needed. He avoided people without opening his eyes, using the souls to guide him out of danger. He could just sense that there was a darkness approaching, but he couldn't be a hundred percent sure. His attention was briefly snatched from its true focus by the feel of two other foreign souls. One had a darkness to it, and it was cynical, the other was younger and seemed terrified. The younger of the two had one of this world's residents chasing it, and Henry almost turned in that direction to help only to feel a hand on his shoulder.

Opening his eyes, Henry glanced at them and blinked. It was a florist, and his face was hard, even though his eyes were a welcoming blue. "Hey, you okay son?" The florist asked, concern lacing his words.

Looking around him, Henry tried to figure out if he was. Looking back at the florist, Henry started to say something when he was hit by a dizzy spell. Raising his hand to his forehead, he closed his eyes and tried to steady his breathing. His stomach hurt, he heard the tone of the guy talking, but he wasn't exactly focused on the words. "I need to sit down for a bit." Henry mumbled, carefully already working on lowering himself to the ground.

"T-Tell you what, just stay here and I'll get you help, okay boy?" The florist stammered, before he ran off.

Curling up on the ground, Henry drifted off to sleep for a few moments.

Everything had went off without a hitch, Renn soon landed in the gummi docks of the new world without any problems... Renn had learned well enough from both his Mother and Father flying the Corsair on his own. His journey had began. When he left the ship he was met by a stern looking guard. "Welcome to Machineken Town visitor, for what reason do you visit?" "Uh... I was sent by Ienzo of Radiant Garden to see if your town had learned anything of the people now referred to as Hybrids." "Hrrrm I see... well first let me escort you to the Palace. You'll need a visitor's pass." "Oh... okay." As Renn followed the guard to the Castle, He could help but notice there was some commotion and Renn had spotted movement on the rooftops. He paid it no heed though.

Around five minutes later he reached the Castle of the town and walked up the stairs into it.

"Hello I'm here to pick up a visitor's Badge? I just arrived from the Gummi docks and I'm here on behalf of the Apprentice of Ansem the Wise to find out what you guys know about the hybrids."

"Hmmm in regards to your purpose you may have a hard time with that. But the fact that other intelligent minds want to learn more about these people may help you on your way... Sign these." she handed a couple forms across the desk to him and he promptly signs them.

After finishing the forms and retrieving the Badge he decided to learn more about the town for now. He noticed the high spirits people seemed to be in but he didn't pay it any mind at all. He couldn't explain it but this euphoria seemed similar to the one before his home got swallowed by the darkness a year ago.
Something was going to happen and he could feel it.

Everyone was cheerful and it was starting to irritate him.

Jacen Silver wandered through the streets, watching the peppy townsfolk go about their morning routines as bright sunlight shined down on them all. Part of him, the biased part, thought it was fitting someone like Master Gomory would come from here. She had always had a certain light within her after all. But the other part of him, the darker part that had left an entire world to get swallowed up by nightmares just yesterday, pointed out that there was an apocalypse going on. Heartless were attacking, people were losing the things that mattered and now was not the time to be singing about how much of a glorious day it was!

Because Jacen could swear he heard someone singing off in the distance.

Unreasonable cheer or not Jacen had a job to do, so he walked to the nearest person and flagged them down.

“Hi.” He said “I was wondering if the name Gomory Candeloro meant anything to you”

The person in question, a older man in overalls with a salt and pepper hair and beard looked at him curiously “Candeloro eh? You know what...”

Jacen’s heart leapt

“...I’ve never heard of her.” the man shook his head and Jacen sighed in disappointment.

“Come on now kid, don’t be sad! It’s a bright and fabulous day!” he gave Jacen and up and down kind of look “Although I take it your an offworlder?”

Jacen nodded, feeling that his day would be a lot brighter and fabulouser if Gomory was in it.

“Well then your going to need to head over to the gate and get yourself a visitor’s badge.” the man said.

Jacen’s face crinkled in distaste “That sounds time consuming. What happens if I don’t have one?’

As if in answer a commotion drew the eyes of everyone on the street as a masked blue haired boy hurtled down the path, guards hot on his heels.

“Something like that!” Jacen’s useless companion said cheerfully.

~making my way downtown, walking fast... Well.. Running.~

Running to escape the soldier who was after Toukan for some type badge, that he didn't have. "Well this sucks... it's not fair, i just woke up here. Stupid Adults.. They never listen"

"GET BACK HERE KID! YOUR UNDER ARREST" The soldier yelled, getting the attention of nearby citizens of the town.

Toukan kept up his pace, as he noticed the solider in armor slowly slowing down. "Haha, yeah like i would be dumb enough to do that! Looks like your getting tired to me. I could do this all day!" Starting to pick up speed, he began to show off, now that eyes were on him. Jumping over boxes, running along a fountain.

Just as the soldier started slowing down, 10 more appeared, in front of Toukan, "where did you come from, shit" Toukan stopped in place, they were all standing in a line perfectly as they began marching forward. He turned around to run the other direction, but now they had completely surrounded him. As the guard who had been chasing him was now behind him. There was nothing left for Toukan to do, no where to run, no where to hide. He had started to panic, and as if on que, clouds formed rather quickly and it began to rain. Lighting flashed.

The citizens of the town, began to pack up their things, put there shop items away, and proceeded inside. "LET ME GO! I DIDNT DO ANYTHING WRONG! I JUST WOKE UP HERE IN THIS STUPID ASS TOWN!"

The soldiers all gasped at once, water dripping from their helps, Toukan, surprisingly still dry.. That no one seemed to have noticed, they were to busy in shock, at the insult the kid just gave about there, Beautiful, Wonderful town! " How dare you, you insolent child!" On of the soldiers said, as he raised his had, about to hit Toukan. Until another soldier stopped him, and shook his had as if saying no, he isnt worth it.

The original soldier Toukan had first met began to speak You, are hereby under arrest, for walking our wonderful town with out permission, for causing a disruption among the peace, and for doing one of the worst crimes imaginable, insulting our town! You shall hereby be taken to the castle dungeon until judgement has been passed."

"Let me go!" Toukan struggled, thunder starting to roar. "I havent done anything wrong!" Toukan started to panic, and lighting started to light up the sky. "LET ME GO!" He yelled once more and Lightning struck a nearby store wagon

"NOOO NOT MY CABBAGES!" the towns man yelled in horror
The palace guards began to drag Toukan off, Toukan struggling the entire way.

~NPC TAKE OVER~

*SYN*

The guard Syn had been talking to, looked over at the commotion being caused by the kid with the mask, running away from another soldier, but as he looked back over to the stranger he saw that he was gone. Up on the rooftops heading in the kids direction. He then put two and two together. "SIR COME BACK, WHERE IS YOUR VISITORS PASS!" he realized, as the man had mentioned, he didnt know where he was. And began following the man along the street, "GET OFF THE ROOFS! YOU WILL DAMAGE OUR LOVELY HOMES!"

*Henry*
"We need a medic!" He was talking to a soldier, who was nearby. The soldier ran back with the florist, "Who is he?" The soldier questioned."

"I dont know, he said he didn't have a visitors pass, i informed him how to retrieve one" The florist confused by the question, since the intentional intention was for help. "What!? Another one?! We were just informed about a boy who didn't have one either!" The soldier began to fast pace, as the florist pointed at who the man was sitting down. "Sir i regret to inform you, you are under arrest for walking around our beautiful town, with out a permit! Do not resist!"

*Renn*

As the man turned towards the door to the palace, those said doors slammed shut. As they did, a soldier nearby came up from behind and hit him hard on the head, trying to knock him out.

"What are you doing!?" The receptionist panicked, "No need to worry ma'am, this man is a fugitive" the soldier said, obviously lying "And we cant let a fugitive roam our streets now, can we?"

"Oh golly no! i cant believe I was talking to a known criminal!" The receptions said, obviously oblivious. Other guards began to line up around the man. "Take him away" the soldier said, hoping the man would come peaceful, if not.. then by force.

*Jacen*

Overhearing the conversation the old man and the younger one, a guard approached, "Did my ears here that correctly, you dont have a visitors pass?" The gaurds smile began to freakishly englarge. "That means you need to come with me, after all. You are obviously underarresst for walking the town with out a permit!"

"But sir! I insist you let him get one, he is such a nice young fellow." the old man protested
"As you can see there is another kid here who doesn't have a permit. And I've heard of others who are appearing with out permits as well. We need to gather them all up and see if there is a connection. And you know the rules. Do not make me arrest you for interfering with the law Old man!
The old man fell silent with a sorry look of un-comfort in his eyes, looking to the man who he just met. "Im sorry son, but i suggest you go with the officer without resisting

At first it was funny watching all of those guards chase down the masked kid. It reminded Jacen of a time where his friends Zack did something similar on a world called Agrabah. The trio had been stranded there for a good week after an unfortunate gummi accident and Zack stole some bread. The guards there didn’t like that.

Things got a lot less funny when the guards grabbed the kid and started to drag him away, even as the weather changed and rain began to fall. The young man was actually planning on going over to offer some help when a new guard came up to him and the old man.

And said he was under arrest.

“That’s a lot of hubbub over something as small as a visitor’s pass.” Jacen said casually “I don’t think i’m going to find my master in your jail either...sorry but i’m going to have to decline.”

Thunder boomed and lightning struck just behind Jacen. He smirked and clenched his fists as lightning magic sparked and raced across his arms.

“You can try to arrest me by force if you want but I promise i’m above your pay grade.”

-Unjust judgement-

Renn was caught unaware by the first guard but he took the hit like a champ not even flinching. As the soldiers surrounded him he spoke"Listen I'm an offworlder and I got my visitor's Badge already what have I done wrong? I was escorted by one of your fellow guards to the castle from the gummi docks and yet you charge me with a crime I never committed? I was sent by the apprentice of ansem the wise of radiant garden! if you get in the way of what I am trying to find out I'll have no choice but to fight back!"

Renn used his senses to figure out where the guards were in relation to him, ready to preemptively strike back. Blue flames danced about his hand as he was about to summon his keyblade but he was waiting for one of his adversaries to make the first move. The blue embers start to rotate around him. "This is your last warning."

~Fight Scene 1~

*Jacen*

With a flash of lightning that lit up the sky, and the look the strange man was giving. The soldier got into a defense position, and the florist, well, He ran. Ran very far away, not looking back.

The guard looked around, and blew out a whistle, "So its a fight you want eh?" Suddenly there were 20 armed guards all standing in formation, and then 20 more. Where were they coming from, as if from the ground itself. All the pedestrians seemed to go inside and mind their own business. When suddenly an alarm rang throughout the city. Metal walls began to rise up and coat the houses and shops.

"Now that the citizens are safe, we can really have some fun. Oh and by the way dont hold back. The citizens wont be able to hear nor see you" a monstrous grin appeared over the soldier as he talked. "There's a reason why our city doesn't have any heartless or hybrids in our mists. And soon you will find out why"

The soldier unsheathed his Sword, and rose it in the air, "Have a knack for lightning do you?, Well.. So do we" suddenly the 40 soldiers rose their swords, and lightning struck down on all of them. Nobody was knocked back, but the blades began to glow yellow, and a red static rising from their blades. They all charged at once. trying to hit the man who was resisting arrest, meanwhile more guards, appearing.

*Renn*

As the man revealed his weapon, the receptionist gasped, Hit a giant red button, and ran for the halls. Suddenly the entrance to the palace was sealed, by a metal coating, you could hear an alarm going off inside the palace, and outside the city. Machinery at work, something was going on outside.

Soldiers began pouring outside of the halls from the palace yard. "You could have done this the easy way" one solider spoke out." But we will take you down, doesnt matter how many of us you take with you." More and more soldiers began flooding the hall.

"Hahaha, this fool thinks he can play with fire, why dont we show him how to put it out" soldiers began casting an incantation, as water began to flood the hall

"This ones a fool" suddenly a soldier standing at a distance unsheathed his sword, it was glowing with a red static, and slammed it in to the water as the red static started spreading, the guards seemed to have no effect. but it was heading right towards Renn

"Bring it then it takes more than a little water to stop me." His keyblade appeared as he jumped and launched a blue fireball toward the guard with his blade electrifying the water. But he soon saw every other guard plunging their blades toward the water as the man was staggered. "Alright? That's how you want it?" He switched his grip on the weapon and landed feet first on the shoulders of the nearest soldier and as other soldiers tried to knock him off by jumping at him he shot another fireball driving them all back. Renn noted the water level rising from the floor. "This fight will be hard fought with the water level rising like that." He soon spotted the soldiers who were spouting the water and launched fireballs at them to dispatch their focus and as the water stopped he danced both in the air and on solid ground dispatching ten different soldiers who were trying to spout water or launch lightning through the water. He started breathing heavy.

"You guys are crazy... Doing this to a kid like me." Multiple soldiers still surrounded him. Although as he was dancing between and away he wasn't as surrounded on all sides. He calmed down as his body started aching from the strenuous maneuvers he had just performed. His feet, shoes, and socks were soaked. "My name is Renn... I'm a Keyblader from the same world as the three heroes who defeated Xehanort, and unless you stop what you are doing I'll have no choice but to remove any sense of mercy from myself and I'll defeat you all right here, right now!"

One guard? Jacen could handle that. Chump change.

Forty guards with lightning powers? Now that was a little more difficult. It didn’t help they were all charging him at once. Jacen raised his sparking arms, stopping two attacks and happily noting that his thundaga armor could stand up to metal swords with ease, even juiced up as they were. Although he felt the sword attacking his right arm begin to break down the magic. He just couldn’t hold up the charge in two arms at once. With a snarl the hybrid threw his arms out, letting loose a discharge to give him some breathing room and paralyze the guards around him. Doing such a thing to several opponents wasn’t as good as focusing on one so in the few moments he had Jacen channeled lightning magic into his legs and sprang upwards and towards a roof. He didn’t quite stick the landing, practically sliding off thanks to all of the rain, but he managed. Quickly he examined his right arm, wincing as he got an eyeful of the cut the sword left behind.

“Yeah that needs work” he sighed.

Before he could think anymore on the subject more guards arrived onto the roof. Jacen watched in horror as they leapt from the ground and onto the roof just like he did.

“Oh now that’s bullsh-” he couldn’t even finish as he had to quickly side step a swing from another glowing sword. The side step caused him to slip however and Jacen took a tumble, falling from the roof and on top of a dumpster in a nearby alley. Jacen groaned in pain as he rolled off the lid and onto his feet. The guards gave chase, joining him in the alley and forcing him to call his keyblade to block attacks as the teen tried to cut himself a path out of the alley and into freedom.

“All of this over a damn ID badge?!” he demanded as he fought. Every time he knocked down one guard another was there to take his place. It didn’t help that they were adapting to his fighting style. Keyblade swipes were blocked with less and less effort, kicks were dodged, punches blocked. Even after Jacen escaped the alley things just kept getting worse until finally..

“Arghh!!”

His keyblade was torn from his hands and thrown to the side while a metal fist sank into Jacen’s stomach. The boy coughed up some blood as he was knocked off his feet. On the ground he was even more vulnerable as the guards swarmed him, kicking and bashing (they had switched to the broad sides of their weapons once they started landing hits) until finally there was nothing Jacen could do but give into the sweet release of unconsciousness.

“Remember that there is a time to fight and a time to flee, the trick is to know when to cut your losses and focus on getting out of the confrontation.”

“Wouldn’t it be smarter to try and avoid confrontation in general?”

“Penelope that’s dumb, if your strong enough you can fight out of anything!”

“Jacen...Penelope is right. If you see a way to avoid a fight and use diplomacy then you really should do it”

Sending out my soul to worlds more beautiful
~- Not Everyone Is the Same -~

The guard, named Andrew, listened as his guide explained things on the way. It seemed suspicious that they had so many anomalies all at once. He'd only just enlisted as a palace guard, after his brother had insisted he did it. Andrew felt pride and happiness to be serving his king, but even he noticed something didn't quite feel right about their situation. Looking to the dark haired boy that the florist lead him to, Andrew knelt down and checked the dark-haired stranger's vitals. Andrew didn't think the boy would resist, but he still gave the usual spiel.

He could tell that the boy didn't seem to quite process it, but the boy didn't resist. Looking to the florist, Andrew commented, "Thank you for letting me know, you should get back inside before the other strangers come here." He saw the florist nod, although he couldn't blame the older man for seeming concerned. Looking at the boy, he tried to figure out what to do. Pulling the dark-haired stranger up, Andrew supported the majority of the boy's weight and headed for the castle.

"What's your name? Where are you from? What's your business here?" Andrew asked cheerfully.

Yeah, he knew they were weird for how cheerful they were. Although he felt like he could say it, an outsider? Andrew would fight them in a heartbeat.

A soft groan drew his attention, and looking at the boy made Andrew feel distress at the sight. Calling another guard over, Andrew was thankful for the extra help. He heard his older, commanding officer say that they needed to lock him up since he didn't have a visitor's pass. Shooting them a look, Andrew remarked softly, "Don't you think we should get him medical attention first, sir?"

"Son, listen here. You have to secure this anomaly before you see to his injuries. What if he hurts the king?" The older guard reprimanded.

Andrew looked at the ground, muttering a soft, "Yes sir," before he got moving again. It took a little bit of figuring things out to get to the castle and not bump into the other foreigners. Making his way to the jail, Andrew fumbled with the key before he got the cell unlocked. Kicking the door open, Andrew tried to get things as comfortable for the young man before he settled his "charge" down on the bench. Looking back at him once he was at the door, Andrew said apologetically, "I'm sorry about this, but I've got my orders I need to follow. I'll get ya some medical help, don't worry. I'll take care of you." Andrew shut the cell door behind him and walked out of the dungeon.

Coming across one of the castle's doctors, he looked at him and ordered, "There's a prisoner downstairs, look after him. I've already got the boy restrained so if he happens to wake up it won't be a problem. Just see that he gets feeling better." Without waiting for an answer, Andrew walked away to continue with his task of protecting the king.

This was going to be one of those days that Topsy was going to have to get involved in something that he didn't really want to, but at the same KNEW he had to because of his beliefs. After he'd argued wit the man whom apparently saved him from great danger, Topsy had decided to go outside and explore this strange town where each and every person was far too chipper, too happy and apparently more than a bit manipulated. It didn't matter where he went or whom was present, the sun was shining brightly and there was an overbearing happiness all over the place. "What is up with these people?? It's one thing to be happy but it all seems so...sooooo...fake." Topsy continued to stroll down the street leading from what seemed to be the upscale part of town. He noticed a girl rnning back and forth with a dog that was running her ragged but nonetheless she kept on smiling, even giggling as sweat dripped down her face from obvious exhaustion. Topsy smiled at the girl who started blushing, she was taken aback by his appearance. Topsy supposed that she hadn't been exposed to someone as EXPOSED as his clothing made him seem. The girl was so lost in staring at him that the dog she was playing with made her trip and fall, her face almost smashing into the ground. Topsy caught her arm, "You should be more careful dear. Didn't your parents ever teach you not to stare too long at lights??" He laughed, "You could get hurt." He received a number of stares, gasps and other reactions or statements from the citizens of the town, probably because of what he was wearing. Or what he wasn't wearing. Some of these reactions were even more dramatic than the child with the dog.

Topsy was basically naked, his entire form other than his extremities exposed yet covered by an outfit he had developed by his missing friend Tavish when they were working out in Trabia while still in his world. It was a material made from magic and infinitesimal small pieces of fabric that covered Topsy in an outfit that was practically a second skin as there was no real notion of him wearing clothing other than the obvious teal and white loin cloth that covered his nether regions. A dull pink tint could be seen along his entire body, which was the actual color of the fabric mixed with magic. His neck had a deep shade of this pink and so did his wrists and ankles. These were the areas where the outfit ended.

Across Topsy's chest there was a small badge that he'd been given before leaving into the town. He hadn't asked questions but knew it was important because the man whose home he'd awoken in had insisted that Topsy would need it to go about Machinecken Town unharmed. Noticing a small diner from which he could smell the delicious aroma of cooking meat, Topsy entered and placed an order for a quadruple bacon cheese burger with extra everything. He said little to anybody there until the waitress walked up to him with the platter and her eyes gazed up and down Topsy's gorgeous body, she placed the meal in front of him and curtsied. "Umm, sir, do you want something to drink with that??" Her eyes wandered several more times which made Topsy chuckle.

"No, thank you sweetheart," Topsy waggled his eyebrows at her. "Actually do you have pink lemonade?? I'll take one of those if so." Topsy watched as the waitress walked away to get him his drink and then a blaring alarm started to go off. He looked up and saw that there was some kind of metallic covering moving down the restaurant front and immediately got up and was able to escape the building before it was sealed off. "Could this place be any stranger??" Topsy looked up to see that it was raining and a bit further down the street there were armed guards that were literally materializing right out from the ground. Already prepared to help out the individuals that were in apparent danger, Topsy took of running down the road, his speed increasing as he got further down.

Guards were swarming all over the place, and from what he could see, there were only a few people, including a kid that was being beaten by an entire horde of guards, punching and kicking him, they beat on the kid with weapons and flesh and when Topsy saw this, he sighed, shaking his head. "Honestly, this isn't right. I HATE to get involved but I'm not with it." Topsy appeared to the left of some of the guards and raised his hand, chopping diagonally across the group of guards that was attacking the kid and there was a booming sound as his arm connected with them, causing many of the guards to go flying. "I dunno what you think this is but this seems a bit unfair to me, how about I even the odds a bit??"

Topsy ran toward the guards he knocked back, watching amused as several of them rushed at him and when attacked, he spiraled around and kicked one of the guards square in the face, knocking him up at least thirty feet in the air. As his kick came around full circle he had already managed to somersault kick two other guards into submission. As the first guard he kicked, cried out and fell toward the ground, Topsy blurred out of sight and appeared behind him. [Bold]"Hello again, did you miss me??"[/B] He spun around and booty-bumped the guard, knocking the armor clad dud forward with a loud thud to crash into the guards whom had rushed to their comrade's aid. "Oops, my bad." All of them lay in a clustered mess of tangled arms and legs, the clanking of metal and groans of pain mixing together.

"Don't interfere!!! Visitor Badge or not, you'll also be arrested for..." He did,'t get to finish because Topsy walked up to the guard and punched in the throat, causing him to fall backward and sputter out. "Ack...g-get him!!!"

Topsy was sour at this point, "Do you think you can take me?? I have a feeling none of you realize just what it is you've walked into. But if you wanna get murked, come and get it then!!!" More guards seemed to have popped up from the ground so Topsy gauged the situation and clasped his hands together, tapping his foot on the ground. "Oh power of the hollies, wrath and peace in one, membranes of existence and also the essence of death," He chanted and a rushing sound could be heard throughout the area as more guards started to approach him. His outfit started to gleam his eyes turned completely white as a glow shined from them. "Fist of the Ambient Star!!!"

Rearing back, Topsy punched the ground so hard that a portion of it exploded from the impact of Topsy's fist touching it. Rocky material, debris and huge chunks of stone flew toward the guards. Dust spread everywhere from the brunt of Topsy's punch but he wasn't finished. With a sudden burst of high speed, and acrobatics, Topsy vaulted over the frenzied guards, snatching up the kid who was being beaten previously. In the same motion he was up in the air with the kid in one hand and holding two chunks of rock in the other, which he hurtled down at more incoming guards.

As Topsy landed he turned to the young man and scowled."Get behind me. I won't stand for someone to be ganged up on, I'll kill all of you guards if I have to...don't make me use my keyblade.

Jacen had every intention of passing out before the mysterious stranger rescued him. It was the booming sound of several guards getting their respective blocks knocked off that snapped Jacen back to awareness. He watched in a slight daze as Mr “How about I even the odds” kicked one of the guards damn near thirty or forty feet in the air with a single kick.

A single kick!!

He dealt with several other guards with a similar ease and Jacen could only watch, star struck at such a display of power and finesse. The near naked man sure did make it look a lot more effortless than it had been for him. The guards were certainly incapable of adapting to the man’s attacks and their numbers seemed to hinder them more than give them any sort of advantage. Jacen felt a cold weight in the pit of his stomach the more he observed. This dude was in a league of his own, was built like a brick shithouse. If he wasn’t so busy fighting evil he could easily make a killing just modeling.

(Jacen could suddenly understand how Penelope could feel inadequate when their teacher was around)

"Fist of the Ambient Star!!!"

and then there was THAT which was pretty high on the list of COOLEST things Jacen had ever laid his emerald green eyes on.

The man flipped and vaulted over his outclassed foes and scooped Jacen up, throwing rocks with his free hand as if they weren’t ridiculously heavy or anything. They landed and Jacen was told to get behind him, and instead of saying anything Jacen could only do as he was told, mutely shuffling behind his savior. It wasn’t like he would be of any use right now.

“I'll kill all of you guards if I have to...don't make me use my keyblade.”

Naturally he had one. Why not?

That cold pit in Jacen’s stomach was spreading and he couldn’t help but clench his fists, fingernails digging into his palms.

People like this existed in the worlds. Perfect people who could do anything, face down any foe. There wasn’t a doubt in his mind Gomory was somewhere amoung such perfection. She’d be right at home after all.

Jacen wasn’t though. He wasn’t anywhere close to the man in front of him. God his entire body throbbed with pain and he was just cowering like a child! How in the world was he going to climb that mountain? Achieve that level of power?

How could he find and possibly save his teacher when he was a kitten facing down lions?

Topsy had been immediately aware as he prepared to use Fist of the Ambient Star that there was a surplus of magical energy in both the area they were in, and the town itself. What was a bit shocking was the fact that he hadn't actually used the upper levels of his Draw Junction to increase his overall powers by that much. It was questionable and made Topsy think about why there was so much magical energy in this place. So much in fact that his chant had drew in enough power to cause a large earthen disturbance when he punched it. He could think of two reasons for this. One; the people in the town were definitely under a large scale spell, being somehow manipulated into being ar too happy. Two; magical energy was being flooded into the area via some from of magi-technology which was fairly obvious from the way the guards kept showing up.

"This is already a bad situation, I've done enough for now," Topsy turned and glanced at the young man, he actually was fairly adorable, Topsy smirked and sighed, "I don't really want you getting hurt anymore for the time being but if you still want to fight pass this simple test." Topsy put his hand around Jacen's waist and leaped up to the closest roof from where they had been standing, snagging Jacen with him(obviously). "Return THIS to me and I'll know you're a tough lil curly cookie." His eyes gleamed mischievously as he threw down the keyblade that had materialized in his right hand.

Topsy's gaze was SUPER lecherous..."Get back up here to this roof with my keyblade and I'll tell you my name." He chuckled, "Hell I'll even grant you any favor within my ability to accomplish and I'll do it whenever you want." He laughed again, eyeing the long coat that the young man wore. "But if not, I'm adding that coat of yours to my wardrobe..."

Syn had been ignoring the guard yelling up at him, obviously he wasn't going to listen to someone who would treat such a ludicrous law off with a sentence like prison. Though, the guard did have a point, if he wasn't careful he was going to put holes in some of these roofs, and worse yet he could feel the tiles slipping with each step. As he took another step, he felt a lurch and saw the metal coat surround the houses. He leapt just in time as it closed along the roof and landed on the much slicker surface.

It had begun to rain, which was fine by Syn because he couldn't stand the sun, but it make it a lot harder to stand on this new weird material. Unfortunately, his hesitation caused the boy to get dragged off, but he couldn't tell which direction due to the sea of soldiers gathering in the area. He turned his attention to another commotion going on behind him. He was surprised to see another boy getting beat up, and it began to irritate him. He looked down at the guard still yelling at him from the ground, his incessant ramblings nothing more than a murmur between the sound of the thunder and the seething rage boiling within him.

An effortless leap took Syn down on the face of the guard and a quick leap forward had him heading to the innocent victim of the guards. He summoned his keyblade in his left hand and his dark sword in his right when suddenly he saw the almost-naked man save the boy in a most spectacular way. He rolled his eyes a bit at the showiness and but admired the man for saving the kid. He immediately turned his attention to the guards that have just been alerted to the sound of him running towards them.

"What kind of town is this? Fake smiles, unfair punishments, and attacking children in the streets? You should be shamed to call yourselves guards!"
He angrily swung his weapons as hard as he could, taking down as many guards as he could reach. His dark sword struck a blow against one guard's chest, his keyblade slammed another in the side of the head, they fought back with their strange glowing swords, he felt a nick against his cheek and side but it only tingled, it didn't really hurt. Was that magic? He couldn't be exposed to too much, he knew what kind of affects magic can have on someone, he leapt back again in a more defensive position and prepared for counters.

"Your false sense of justice fails you, and I'll show you what the true meaning of peace is, in death!" He blocked each strike thrown against him as more guards started to appear. He looked up and saw the half-naked man talking to the kid. The man's expression made Syn's skin crawl, but he was hoping that the man would notice that the attention has been drawn away and that he would use some of that strength to help him take down this strangely growing number of guards.

Renn had taken the time to recover as much as he could as the guards kept coming at him but Renn could sense the guards were... weird... When he dispatched one, two more would replace them but he at least stopped the rising water because they didn't think it was worth keeping the pressure on him and oddly enough he had ways to avoid both the static fields that extended from their blades from the water. He soon noted the color of the electricity on their weapons... The same type that emanated from the heartless that attacked his mother when they left destiny islands and the same lightning that Renn saw sparking from his father when he appeared in Radiant Garden. Renn kept his thoughts on the fight for now though, he couldn't afford to lose focus now.

Then he realized that although the guards had stopped spouting water, He could use the heat from his fire spells to evaporate it and possibly not stop the soldiers, but hinder them to give him time to escape. He kept them at bay with spinning flames and the heat began rising along with the evaporating water, He saw fatigue began to set into their bodies as the humid air increased the effect of the rising temperature. He then rushed over to the receptionist's desk and looked for an emergency door disengage. He spotted it and hammered his fist on it and the metal barrier surrounding the door receded before the door opened and flooded the room with refreshing cool air then as more troops started flooding the entrance hall. "Too bad that won't matter BOY!" "you don't think so? heh." He soon rushed one side of the troops towards the door as flame danced around him. he literally blazed a trail through the guards to the door and he made it to the steps of the castle but he noticed that other buildings were coated in a metal shell much like the door he disengaged. "hmmm a level of security that surpasses radiant garden's." His head soon turned back to see the guards running after him. "this is tough... I'd better get back to the docks."

Nowhere in particular.
There had been many ways to conduct oneself whilst in a new, foreign land they weren't familiar with. Respecting the local authority, for one, was high on the list, though it was not the most important. No, the most important was not to cross the wrong man or woman. That applied not only to the wrong part of town, as it were, but it also applied to the person who was walking past you as you made your way down main street. Or perhaps the person handling your order at a diner you were just about to sit down and eat at.

Then, as if Lady Luck herself decided to be the bitch of the party and roll the dice on the game board that was to decide whether or not a mindful man, who mind you had been in this strange land for a few months now, was about to sit down and enjoy his meal. This meal that he had been looking forward to all day after finishing his shift at the local lumber mill, had been called off due to the fact that the owner of the diner that he sat down at was canceled on account of the manager recognizing the blond male.

And suffice to say, Lannit knew exactly why the meal was canceled. “Can’t you just let bygones be left in the past?”

“After what you did to me three months ago, I’d rather kill myself than serve vermin like you.” The owner of the Screaming Lady shouted, starting to attract attention from the other customers.

“It was a mistake. How was I supposed to know she was your wife? Come on Ryan, can’t we come to an understanding?”

“I understand that if you don’t leave right now, I’m going to toss you out.”

”I’d like to see you try.”

“What was that?”

“I said fine. I didn’t want your shit food, anyway. It tastes worse than that wife of yours.”

As Lannit started to walk away, Raging Ryan charged at Lannit. This caused a smile to curl on the blond’s face. Immediately turning around, he landed a well-connected uppercut into Ryan’s jaw, sending the diner manager flying about three feet in the opposite direction, landing on a table. This action caused a chain reaction of food flying and tables being flipped, which in turn resulted in more of the diner-goers to come after Lannit.

Lannit didn’t want any part of this, so he opted to run out the door. As soon as he did, he noticed there was quite the commotion coming from an area just west of where he was. Now, while he was a neutral kind of guy who didn’t want any part in whatever was happening, he was also a curious man. Sometimes it conflicted with his better judgment. As a former pirate of Ivalice’s open seas, Lannit had a habit of following his gut instincts. They weren’t always for the betterment of his own health but it sure made things a lot more exciting.

He immediately made his way down the street west and soon realized that this was as it always was with him. And at that moment, as he saw the number of guards who didn’t seem to be happy with a bunch of colorful people, including one that appeared to be nearly in the nude, Lannit had to ask himself if he was going to stick around to hear that particular story. In a word? Yes. Yes, Lannit was.

Approaching the mess that was this all-out brawl, Lannit saw that a guard or two looked his way. They weren’t happy that a person they didn’t recognize was going right into the lion’s den. To make matters worse, instead of talking it out like civilized human beings, they shot lightning directly his way.

“Well, that’s not nice,” Lannit mused, turning to the side. Their lightning magic was child’s play.

With fists balled and Lannit gathering the residual magical energy that had been created by their spell clashing with the ground behind him, Lannit had absorbed it into his body. A moment after that had occurred, his eyes flashed gold since the lightning itself was gold. Lannit then shot a burst of pure magickal energy towards the two guards who perceived him as a threat. They obviously had good instincts, but now they were unconscious, so it all evened out.

Lannit thought of walking deeper into Pandora’s Box, but that was easier said than done. The reason? The guards were blocking him. With them, it seemed to be more of the same. They came at him either with physical or magical attacks and Lannit dealt with them with genuine ease. They were weak and Lannit was having a blast. Despite the fact that his attention kept going to a nearby roof, he was having a blast. Brawls like this used to happen in Old Archades. Except there, the guards actually posed a challenge.

As Lannit dealt with his fifth guard, he got tired of this, so he kicked one in the nuts and hopped to the roof where the naked man was with some other kid. “Ya know, I’m not one to judge, but kinda gross bearing it all out there with this kid present.” Lannit shrugged, looking at the man, “just my two cents. You do you, Honey BooBoo.”

Jacen looked from the keyblade on the ground to the guards and then back up to the mysterious man and his smile. He wasn’t quite sure how to handle that type of smile so he firmly focused on the offer instead.

Any favor huh? He could use that at some point in the future! For something important! There was no way Jacen would squander this unique opportunity. That and he wasn’t about to lose his coat. Sure he could easily just go buy another one but it was the principle of the thing.

“I accept.” Jacen said in as strong a voice as he could muster. Even if it wasn’t for the reward at the end Jacen was pretty sure he would still have accepted this guy’s challenge. If only to prove to him that he wasn’t weak or worthless just because there was such a large difference in power.

A gap Jacen would eventually bridge.

He jumped down from the roof, activating his thunder armor around his legs to keep from hurting himself. The keyblade had stabbed itself into the ground and Jacen walked up to it, feeling the eyes of several of the guards on him.

“Even his keyblade is cooler than mine.” the green eyed teen mumbled “This is ridiculous.”

The plan was very simple. He would pull this key out of the ground and then spring back up to the roof like he did earlier. Sure he was a little wearier than last time and the roof in question was taller than the previous one Jacen hopped, but he was sure it would all work out. Pushing himself more than he should had always been on of Jacen’s more prominent traits. The guards were rapidly closing in and Jacen wrapped his hand around the hilt of the weapon, giving it a sharp tug.

Nothing. No budge, not even a wiggle.

Turns out when someone with super strength buries something it stays there.

A boot in his ribs told Jacen that the guards had arrived. Jacen was thrown away from the keyblade and sent rolling away. The guards seemed eager as they closed in, as if they could somehow sense that this particular battle was one they could win. With good reason considering how they were able to adapt to him last time. Jacen counted out the guards, five of them at the moment, and traced a path in his head to the key and the roof. Then he raced forward.

Even before boosting himself Jacen had always been proud of his speed. What he lacked in physical force, swordsmanship, and even magical reserves he made up for in his ability to move. So while the guards were ready to intercept him they weren’t ready for how fast Jacen closed the distance between them. Instead of trying to fight them at this moment Jacen simply weaved around them, his goal to get his hand on that keyblade hilt again. With the guards momentarily unbalanced, Jacen moved his sparking, crackling magic out of his legs and into the arm gripping the key. The other arm released a discharge to keep the guards off of him for several extra seconds.

and then he pulled.

Even with the strength boost Jacen had an issue pulling the keyblade out of the ground. He needed both hands but soon enough it was out of the ground and half of Jacen’s task was done. Swinging the weapon around in an arc Jacen knocked down the guards that were trying to overcome his magic and took off again, this time to the roof. He knew the guards would be getting up and he needed to be in the air before they could. Charging his legs one last time Jacen sprung upwards, towards the roof, towards the man, towards proving that he was NOT some loser...

He felt hands on the hem of his coat, yanking him back down to the hard ground. Jacen fell straight on his ass, cursing in pain as the guards attacked him with an angry gusto. Jacen rolled, getting away from the attacks got up. There was an alley next to the roof he needed to be at. He would have to go there. Jacen took a few hits along the way, including a punch to the face hard enough to break his nose, but he got there. Jacen had been hoping to find a fire escape to climb, but thanks to the metal covering the houses there was no such thing. He cursed, guards catching up to him and starting another tussle. Jacen jumped forward, using a armored shoulder to give him an extra boost. The jump gave him the height he needed and he grabbed the side of the roof. He clawed his way up to the roof (damn near sliding back off as he swung a leg around) and hobbled over to the man and the new arrival he hadn't been focusing on before. Sure his ass hurt, his nose was bleeding and his magic was low but...

“Done.” he said to the man, holding out the keyblade.
