You know, for being Nomura's favorite Organization character, he was the most poorly written in Days.

I disagree. I grew to like him quite a bit. He's level headed and rational while at the same time with a touch of that gambling romance sense to him. He was about the only one that didn't treat Roxas like utter crap (aside form AkuShi) after the CoM team up and left (and even with them in on relative terms), but actually tried to help something grow out of the munchkin kid.
I don't think he was less poorly written than Demyx for instance - maybe less in-game referenced since they couldn't bash him.

But either way, I doubt all of the Organization members' Somebodies will appear in BbS. I almost don't want them all too- otherwise it would be too many characters and not enough individual character development. So the ones that won't appear (or hopefully shouldn't), ought to get some closure.

Like I said - cameo would be nice. Like if they'd go into a casino or something and there would be Luxord's Somebody.
Otherwise we're risking having them in chronological-future games :p

I mean, you figure Roxas could have put up a little bit of a better fight.

Hm. Wonder however if Xion didn't have to do with it. They could always excuse it as such. Knowing Riku wouldn't hurt Roxas too badly, that it'll end up with them both returning to Sora, and knowing it's either that or being killed by Xemnas, Xion could've stopped him from resisting from the inside
Just naming one reason they could possibly use - if they won't go there and bother to name a reason, of course.

Yeah, and on that note- I'd like to see a little bit more about the Chamber of Waking/Repose.

I thought for sure that we'd get some kind of hint about Xemnas and Aqua in the Chamber of Repose.

Well that's what Final Mixes are for XD; Unless he's being over lame and leaving all those stuff to be expanded upon in BBS.
And then in the BBS Ultimania we'll have a whole section where he explains stuff that happened in Days going by the things we discovered in BBS.
It's Nomura. Wait and watch it happen.

Not to mention that DS games are region free, so, you could still play it if you truly wanted to.

And I'll call otherwise.
I'd be willing to bet so.

The largest indicator is the interview.
Ever notice how the interviewer in all of these KH interviews just knows the right questions to ask? They're not stupid. Plenty of these questions are planted by the developers so that it becomes more of an ask-and-answer to the fans.

There's a reason why a Days Final Mix came up. They knew what they were doing.
And guess what? The answer he gave to that question is extremely similar to the one he gave years ago (right after the release of KH2) about a possible Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix. And look where that led us.

You could argue that the question was planted to dismiss the possibilities so fans would have a resolute answer. But that's what the "Days Remake" question was for. It was, more or less, "no, don't bother expecting one." The Final Mix question was left open and vague. On purpose.

Another hint, as I see it, is the Pinocchio world. The developers did not remove it because of lack of space. They said that they didn't want to put too many worlds in (which would detract emphasis from the ones they already had). So they ditched Pinocchio when it was practically complete.

That's horseshit considering Days has the least number of worlds in the entire KH series. There's another reason. If it was because of space, they would have said as much. Instead, I'd bet it's one of their trump cards for a Days FM.

As Audo has said, there were only 90+ missions. At first when playing Days, I figured they'd have a reason for all of the Days we skipped. For example, the 25 or so days that we first skipped made sense because Roxas was asleep. But after that, there weren't many excuses. Some of the days we skipped were for no apparent reason- we completed X number of missions, and all of a sudden we skip ahead several weeks. That leaves plenty of room for new missions, or even an entirely new world.

As for things I'd like to see:
- Pinocchio world, obviously.
- Xemnas reports. Still want them. 14 reports giving the original names and scenarios of each of the members (eg what they were like, where they were from, how they became Nobodies, etc). Of course, there'd be only so much they'd be able to say about the members that will appear in BbS, but for those who have little chance of a reappearance as their original (I'm looking at you, Luxord), we really need this for some closure. This may be the last time we ever see them. And Nomura did say that he may have an opportunity to release the original names aside from the ones we already know (reminds me of when he said he had an opportunity to release Zexion's weapon... a la Re:CoM/FM).
- More original Heartless. I really didn't mind fighting the 5 or so variations of the same enemies as much as I thought I would, but some more new enemies would be nice. The kind that aren't rip offs of Wyverns or Armored Knights.

More Disney enemies would have been nice. It's not gonna happen, though, so I won't include it considering they'd have to restructure the plot of some worlds, but....
Hades?
Hook?
Gaston?

And of course, more secret bosses than the Dustflier. Throw in Rikunort as part 2 of the final battle for good measure.

And a secret ending. Of what, I don't know, just make one.

Some more context to certain cutscenes would be nice, like Smile said. The Destiny Islands cutscene really made no sense and came out of nowhere.

And to finish it all off, new unlockable characters (Xehanort's Heartless, and alternate costumes [KH2 Roxas/Sora, Goofy and Donald in their Kingdom outfits, maybe even Xemnas in his final boss cloak]).

Eh, all this information is irrelevant to me, it's not happening. You could say these things about any game, there is unlimited potential for any title to improve in quantity exponentially.

FM and International titles are saved for mainline titles, both in the FF and KH series.

Then it'll be the dreaded Coded-BBS-Days remade compilation for the PS3 or something.

Wow, totally slipped my mind. I was selfishly against the Final Mix because of the possibility I couldn't play it, but I forgot about that. A guide could be used so I know what to do on my missions, so yay. I hope we get a Final Mix now. The likelyhood still seems questionable to me, though.

Well maybe it was the expectations I had for him.

Luxord was vastly underrated in KH2, and I could see why he was Nomura's favorite organization character.
What little dialogue he had gave an air of sophistication. I was anticipating to see even more depth than the glimpse of it we had in KH2.

But in Days, I feel like he became too generic. Overly characterized for his gambling even.
In KH2, he didn't have to use much gambling terminology for you to know that he was a man willing to make a wager. And in Days, about 95% of his dialogue had some kind of pun or metaphor associated with gambling. He became very two dimensional. "Life is just a game" is a good theme for a character to live by, but they didn't even bother trying to make that subtle.

The best thing he said in the entire game, sadly, was in his secret report.

And then, as far as his interaction with Roxas goes, I felt it was extremely lacking. You could see the relation that almost all of the other Organization members had with Roxas. Some enjoyed his presence, some were fascinated by him, some hated him, some were indifferent. Except it's not even that Luxord had an indifferent relation with Roxas, it's just that I felt there was no relation to speak of. Any role Luxord served in talking to Roxas was to advance the dialogue.

But maybe that's just me.

It's not much different with Demyx. Except Demyx can be dismissed since he's more of a comic relief character. After all, were you ever expecting Demyx to say anything deep?

Well, good, GA said he'd bet there would be one. So now you guys can wager a real deal, eh?
Real monetary deal, no.

You can all negarep me if there is no Days Final Mix.
Though that doesn't really show how much I'd invest in it considering how much I care about my INTERNET STREET CRED.

I object to that.

I've been thinking about this.

I'd have liked to have seen more Organization battles in Days than a fight with Saix towards the end and part of one with Xigbar in the Coliseum.

It makes sense that, you know, you're not fighting your own comrades, but I mean, c'mon, couldn't they have thought of a few more scenarios for us to duke it out with Luxord or wail on Demyx?

Maybe they could actually make the Coliseum interesting like in the past and use Nomura's old idea of fighting all of the other Organization members there. Or have some kind of versus mode in TWTNW.

Even though I'd like them to do this, I don't think they would, though, only because that was KH2FM's forte.

In Crisis Core, they had those virtual reality machines that could send Zack to training missions. Perhaps something similar could had been used.

FTW Roxas vs Xemnas in Virtual Gathering Place

I would like to see an FM+ version of Days. But maybe when KH3FM+ comes out (wayyyyyy in the future) they might make a 358/2 days remake for the ps3 :S but i wouldn't want them to remake days, cuz it was already 3D
