Yeah I was bummed Jack didn't dive underwater. I'm glad at least Donald and Goofy do. I honestly wouldn't have been surprised if they didn't even join given how the few aerial battles in game were that way.

It was probably just not wanting to bother making him work underwater. Donald and Goofy really only do because of their abilities as it is. I feel like they just dangle until they use a projectile/Goofy Tornado. Jack's specials are just like a lunge and bombs. Both of which, I guess wouldn't work underwater.
Magic being the reason they can breath is a good lore reason tho lol. They do speak normally, so that honestly is probably the case.

So, Subject X comes to the present with four friends. Presuming that she is Skuld and the Nameless Star is Strelitzia, we have four slots. We know that Ventus and Lauriam are here, so that leaves two slots. We have 5 key players left. Say, if Ephermer did not make it since he was there in Keyblade Graveyard in some capacity and Brain is, by the latest trend, Eraqus' ancestor, that would cut the two out, leaving two slots for Elrena, 'Demyx', and 'Luxord'. I would assume the former two took the two slots and the latter is a different case since he is older than the rest and the generic age for fairy tale keyblade wielders and his element/attribute is Time.

I wonder how the world of Tangled will play in the next saga considering the ending and it never got a sequel.

Frozen coming back is a given, but will it adapt 2's story or will Disney will let Nomura have some creative freedom with that world?

I dont really think any foretellers are bad tbh.... currently just seems like there was "actually" a tratior and it wasnt just suspicion. Im sure it'll clear up the truth in the next dlc

Be something if ava comes back in the next saga and is xehanorts grandmother or something. Indicating the entire reason he wanted to use kingdom hearts was because she could never succeed.

So, who is Subject X?

So far the best guesses are either Ava, Skuld, or a new character. The best info we have is that she's spoken of 4 friends, but the problem with that is there's 3 groups of 4 from the Chi-era that she could be referring to. The Foretellers, the current Union leaders, or the group of Lauriam, Elrena, Demyx, and Luxord.

Also, the foretellers are the next baddies, right?

Looks to be that way.

It'd certainly allow Rapunzel to be a permanent party member. Tough to see them using using it for KH4 but maybe for an important non-Numeral title like BBS or DDD.

Could have duo of Rapunzel and Cassandra as the party members. Being stuck with Eugene post-Corona story is so boring.

Since Kairi exploded will that mean she's no longer a PoH?

Given her abuse from the Heartless, Xehanort, and being kinda dead at one point, I'd expect the pure light to be all "You're doing a crap job protecting me. Peace!" and then just fly right out of her.

It should have been Maximus instead of Flynn, sort of like what they did with Marshmallow in Arendelle.

I would have loved to have seen a team attack with Maximus.

When you defeated Xemnas and Xehanort, both talks about comrades who betrays him. Who are they? I don't think it's Marluxia, Axel and others Organisation XIII because i don't think he ever saw them like that.

If that does happen then it might be best for Kairi. It's an aspect of her character that was never really used, and moving it to Namine would be just fine.

Personally, it'd be nice if Nomura phases it out. The PoH haven't been relevant in a long time, even if KH3 they're more just there to be there.

Xemnas says "I feel the emptiness where my companions once stood". By "companions" i find it hard to believe it is about Org XIII members, i was expecting it to be a reference to something that happens in Master Xehanort path.

I'm surprise Ansem even care about Demyx or Vexen given that they were only spare members.

Tangled has a New Pure Heart. This pretty much confirms its return to KH4. And they could pull a Pixar and make original storylines for their properties.

I don't think anyone saw it coming that Braig/Xigbar would in reality be Luxu, vessel-jumping since millennia. I think the fans more so expected him to surpass the Seekers of Darkness Saga, and become the next villain, or part of a greater threat, for the next saga after this one.

...though someone may have brought the possibility of someone else body-hopping besides Xehanort, and doing it for more time.

I was also gonna suggest this. But with how restricted Frozen was, perhaps Nomura's ideas could flourish in Frozen 2? The movie looks very varied.
