Which is especially hilarious considering there are multiple people having illusion powers or otherwise the ability to change/shape visual presentation (DiZ could pose as Ansem SoD as early as Chain of Memories).

Not to mention visual perception can be misinterpreted pretty easily and even actions witnessed via your own eyes can be taken wrongly without the appropriate context.

It's the usual 1a trolling by the MoM and it is even more pointy because he's trolling Young Xehanort, the original "Trollanort".

I see it more as, "Trust your experiences, not something another has told you," but it could just be him being manipulative, as he was throughout that whole conversation.

So I finally beat Yozora after several days of trying. I'm finally caught up to speed with spoilers.

I have to say that at first I was really confused by the integration of ReMIND. I thought it was going to be additional scenes added throughout the game (like the Luxu/Luxord one happening while you were in Olympus), as a way to help flesh out the main game. But it ended up just being the end game with more... which was weird, and I kinda felt like they didn't need to put the scenes that we already saw again. I can just imagine going from beating the game straight into ReMIND will seem a little repetitive, especially because it didn't have THAT many new scenes during the Keyblade Graveyard fights.

Anyway, I loved the new scenes and they even fixed cosmetic stuff (like Xemnas stomping on Axel's hand looks WAY better). I loved that they really pushed SoKai and NaRiku, and even gave Kairi the chance to kill Master Xehanort. Also exploring Scala Ad Caelum was nice (and the little hint at Daybreak Town was cool).

Overall, I enjoyed it. The LimitCut was a nice addition, although aggravating because story stuff was locked behind it, but it got me to play the game more and do stuff I normally would never do (like synthesis Strength and Defense Boosts). The thing I appreciated the LimitCut for the most was that it made me realize that KH3's combat is actually better than KH2's. I know that's controversial, but KH2's data battles weren't that difficult and Reflect made them so much easier. Not having access to Reflect and some bosses like requiring you to use the FlowMotion and other stuff you wouldn't normally use really showed off what the combat can do. Granted, in the main story you don't see that much, so maybe that's something they can work on for the next game.

Onto the story stuff... OMFG! I am SO hyped for KHIV! I think KHIV will be the first KH game with so much build going into it. KH2 only had The Organization (half of which you killed in CoM) and the mysterious Roxas. KH3 basically was reduced to the Keyblade War will happen. KHIV has the Foretellers (who have a lot of backstory, yet still feel mysterious especially with the plot in KHIV) and Yozora/Verum Rex. At first I was kind of worried about the Foretellers Saga, but now I'm really excited to see how they relate to Yozora (let alone the Master of Masters being in Yozora's world or whatever world that was).

And finally... even though I was expecting ReMIND to add additional scenes throughout the main story to "improve" it, I actually appreciate that Nomura didn't do that because it was pretty confident of him to stand by what he made in KH3 and the choices he made. Instead of releasing ReMIND to "fix" things, he was like here's something post-game to help expand on what we already saw at the end, but the journey to this was what I wanted.

The thing that excites me about the new KH is the prospect of seeing what they're going to do with Verum Rex. I'm honestly curious to see how well developed and focused that world will be, and if the idea ends up transforming into its own game.

KH3, but moreso with ReMind DLC, makes me feel that KH actually wasn't Disney meet SE but it's actually Star Wars meet Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles...

That's really cool. I feel like it's more or less save to assume, seeing Gula uses a model based of Sora's model, Ava uses one based off of Kairi's.

YX in BBS used Saix's model, just fyi.

The only truly odd thing here are the different eye colors.

If I were to guess, this is a placeholder model in-progress, they're going to paste those faces then warp them around until they have their own faces.

Personally I think Re:Mind did a lot of things right. It actually encouraged me to finally beat the Proud mode save I had left on my shelf since a year ago. The new abilities are really reminiscent of KH2 for me and having Oblivion and Oathkeeper again really feels great to use. I just really wish they had been in the base game.

As for the scenario itself, the new cutscenes left my head reeling. Nomura really likes his time travel shenanigans. As for the secret boss fight, I am nowhere near equipped to beat Yozora on Proud. But I am aware of the two (two? Really Nomura?) endings. It makes me question which ending is the real ending. A lot of people are speculating that Sora losing to Yozora is the real ending. But is it really? It left me more confused and in desperate need for answers!

I think both endings happen. It's just interesting that Yozora has two different eye colours, he talks about stumbling into Shibuya and doing trials, then having to "save Sora", all while claiming that he doesn't really look like that and that Sora isn't Sora. I feel like there could be two different worldlines in play. At the end, if you lose with Sora, it's Yozora who says "none of this makes sense to me", but if you win, it's Sora. Yet they both say "is any of this for real or not".

I feel like the next major storyline will be that two final worldlines (the one that we have explored all throughout the series) and Yozora's will collide somehow to determine the "final" worldline. It's possible that the Foretellers were hiding in Yozora's worldline, while people from KHUX's time like Lauriam, Elrena, Luxu, and Emyd came into the Sora worldline. Durol is the only questionable one, so his role may be greater... possibly an angel or Game Master?

Well if they have show Luxu's original form(somehow) chances are they will unmask the foretellers at some point next saga

The only character who I think will stay hidden until the end is MoM

The more I study the secret episode and Yozora as a character the more I see people arguing over the secret ending. I have never seen the fandom so split on which ending is canon despite only one appearing in theater mode iirc.
