This is offical info from Kingdom Hearts Ultimania; this will clear up some theories as well as start new ones. I left out some worlds that they spoke of because we know that info. But I did come across something that some might not have noticed, for the ones that think Deep Dive and ASAS are irrelevant to KH2, this might dampered your theories. We all know of the Dark Beach of Deep Dive, well we can see Sora standing in that place at the end of the Kingdom Hearts 2 trailer (when he makes the KH2 sign appear). Also in one of the older trailers (the one without Battle shots) they show the scene of the Unknowns talking at the D.B. Well that's it for my commentary; enjoy the info!
"Twilight Town will be the hub of all activity in Kingdom Hearts 2, much like Traverse Town was in Kingdom Hearts (although there is nothing saying we won't be returning there). Kingdom Hearts 2 will start off in Twilight Town with Sora & Co. making there way into Town via the Train (which will also be used to travel around the various worlds). After experiencing a brief tutorial for new players, Sora & Co. will arrive at Twilight Station which then they'll encounter King Mickey. After this we can only presume Mickey updates them on the latest happenings or gives them information on how they should progress next. Thats of course after Sora & Co. gets over the shock that Mickey is now a member of the Organisation ^_^
Following on, elsewhere in Twilight Town the new major character, the boy with the blonde hair is beginning his own adventure. We first see him on the Clocktower above Twilight Station where he looks over Twilight Town and there meets up with friends. From then on they together start wandering round Twilight Town until at some point, he encounters some Dusk's, the same enemies Sora had to just face before Mickey defeated it. He chases this Dusk until it dissapeared. Later, if not beforehand the blonde hair boy will experience a similar "Awakening" just as Sora did at the beginning of Kingdom Hearts.
In addition with both this boy and Sora being present in the Town, they will obviously cross pathes at some point as this boy is seen preventing Axel from seeing Sora and prepares to fight him. Within Twilight Town the Organisation have a building in which they occupy.
Take note that this building is most like the headquarters, if not, it is definetly where the Superior, DiZ resides and in KH:CoM we seen Vexen take Sora outside this building (within Sora's memories of course, not for real).
H. Bastion
With the supposed deaths of Ansem and Malficient being defeated. For the past 2 years Hollow Bastion has remained deserted and time passed the Heartless have slowly began to tear the castle apart. During Kingdom Hearts 2, Sora & Co. have been given word of the amount of Heartless now surronding the World and decide to return.
Upon there arrival they find themselves forced into an epic battle against thousands of Heartless in which they must defeat. Upon either escaping or very unlikely defeating all of these Heartless they continue there journey to Hollow Bastion where they find the building is now under The Organisation's control. Out of the supposed 13 members of this Organisation, 6 have been shown to be around Hollow Bastion, currently it is only confirmed that the Enigmatic Man that Sora & Co. faced in Hollow Bastion 2 years previous will be one of those 6.
Olympus Coliseum
In Kingdom Hearts, Oylmpus Coliseum was the training grounds on which Sora could become stronger by particpating in competitions and fights against powerful optional bosses. As promised the Coliseum returns in Kingdom Hearts 2 but with a much bigger role. Sora & Co. return to the world only to find they are going to journey underground, the home of Hades
The Oylmpus Coliseum was one of the worlds avaliable to explore in one of the Kingdom Hearts 2 Demos. During that demo we see Hades trying to yet again get rid of Hercules, this time he summons Auron by reaching out his hands and firing 2 fireballs. When Auron appears he refuses to help Hades and tries to kill him but Hades stops Auron`s sword with 1 hand, then we see Sora and Co. comes in and Hades is really surprised and shouts "You!", as Hades is distracted Auron used the oportunity to try and kill him again but Hades teleports just in time.
Then Auron, Sora, Donald and Goofy argue who is going to fight against Hades so they all fight each other but after one hit, Sora & Co. end up on the ground. Next, because of the fact there in the Underworld, everyone decides to run for it. Then when outside you see a bunch of heartless and Hades in "Heat" (can't hurt him) mode, so before you go any further you have to kill all the heartless that he summons.
Everyone then continues to flee until Sora find's a keyhole, he then opens it and everyone jumps inside. But then Hades sends Cerebus to kill Auron, Sora, Donald and Goofy. As Cerebus attacks Auron stops it's fangs with his sword, Sora & Co. go on to escape but then have a change of heart and decide to help Auron instead, Donald and Goofy try to do the same but are prevented by an invisible barrier (sound familar?). The Demo then end's in a Epic battle with Sora & Auron facing Cerebus.
In addition within the main story Hercules starts to doubt his Hero status and Meg, Hercules lover helps out Sora & Co. while they are journeying underground. In addition expect to be able to use the Coliseum in a similar fashion to Kingdom Hearts (Due to Hades stating a Coliseum is also Underground).
Fabled Countryside
While exploring Hollow Bastion in Kingdom Hearts, you were provided the ability to have Beast in your party. He was searching for his kidnapped love, Belle who was one of the princesses of heart. In Kingdom Hearts 2, Sora & Co. will journey to the homeland of Belle & Beast who reside in the world called "Fabled Countryside".
This world has been featured in one of the few Kingdom Hearts 2 playable demos. While playing the Demo, Sora and Co. enter the castle and start talking, afterwards they see a Shadow Heartless enter a room and so they follow him throughout the Castle, in the next room more Shadows appears but Beast appears and kills them. Beast then approachs the gang and Sora says “It has been a while”.
But then Beast hits Sora to the floor! (because Beast does not remember who they are), Beast takes the rose that was in the room and goes away. Then you meet Belle and she runs up and hugs Donald tightly saying "You Came!" Belle then explains that Beast has imprisoned the entire castle's staff in a dungeon. Belle is obviously concerned and pretty scared, which leads Sora to offer help. Then you head to the prison and talk to the dresser (the only member of staff not locked up) who tell's them where the staff are located. After some further exploring, the demo end's with battling a boss who prevents you from entering a door.
Within this world will be the presence of one the Organisation members who taunts Beast and causes him to act the way he is when exploring the world. Beast still desires to return to his human self and the Organisation use this to there advantage to use Beast as they please."
