Hello guys, before Birth by Sleep comes out, the site staff and I thought we would start an old classic: the boxart contest.
GENERAL INFO
In the boxart contest, you will have to make the game box of Birth By Sleep. Any other box related to Days, etc, will be trashed.
You have to be as creative as possible with this, you cannot use repeated KH box logo styles (you can make something similar, however).
The contest will be held in two divisions. Traditional and Digital. Meaning, you can make a boxart by drawing it or making it in Photoshop/GIMP/whatever. If you decide to make it by drawing, either scan it in or take a high quality photo. There will be one winner only.
JUDGING
Judging will be based on a few things. Criteria included in judging includes originality, effort, creativity, design, use of tools, use of imagination, appeal, and so forth. The most important, however, is creativity. Extra points if it's more creative.
RULES
1) No ripping We will look at all entries carefully, and see if they have been ripped. If you do rip, you'll be banned. Simple.
2) Collaboration Collaborating is fine, but you guys must both take credit for the work. You'll also have to split the prize if you win.
3) Be creative Be as creative as possible with this. We want to see what you can do.
4) Keep it PG-13 No explicit material of any kind on the boxart. Meaning, no curse words, hentai/porn/yaoi/whatever.

Your choice of a Sora, Roxas, Riku, Cloud or Kairi mascot strap.
Prizes could change.
QUICK FAQ
Can I make my own characters on the box?
You cannot make your own characters, but you can draw the characters in whichever style you want.
What happens if someone rips a design?
They'll have a 1 month or permanent ban.
Can prizes be shipped to international countries?
Sure.
How many entries can I submit?
One and only one. Any extras will be ignored.
Can I use KH art/logos in my boxart?
For the people who are making it digitally, you can use characters. For traditional makers, you have to draw the characters/design yourself. You can use the BBS logo, or you can make one yourself. Up to you.
When will the winner of the 358/2 Days contest be announced?
We have already notified the winner and are sending them their prize. If you haven't been notified, you didn't win.
What's 'ripping'?
Stealing another person's work and claiming it as your own. This does not mean KH renders/logos.
OTHER INFO
The due date for this is January 9th, 2010. Winners will be announced by around late January or so.
