KHI or KHII?

KHII was a better upgrade but KH had a better line to me of they made KH with KHII controls (camera) and more abilites it would be better

Personally I liked KhII more, it had a more mature story line and better game play during battles.

this is a difficult question, because some pepole will answer about the gameplay and stuff like that, but as to storyline, i think kh wins. kh seemed to do more with acutal hearts, whilst kh2 dealt mostly with org xiii

Kingdom Hearts One for sure. Plot > Gameplay.

The story was just... better in KH1. And I prefer plot.

KHI all the way, I found the plot in KH2 to be too simplistic and linear.

Edit: Oh, I forgot CoM was a part of this, in that case, I find it to be practically on par with that of KH1. CoM's plot was definately convoluted and satisfying, it just felt a bit restrained though.
