So f an announcement was to be made on any new title where would the most lilky venue be. I was thinking E3 since that iis where we heard about kh3d' announcement. If so thats not too far away
I think E3 is doubtful. They are going to want to sell DDD to an international market at E3 this year, I'm not sure if it would be smart marketing to overshadow the game coming out by announcing a completely new game. I'm just using it as an example, but lets say the game was KH3, or whenever they do announce the game, I don't think any other game SE can make would overshadow KH3's announcement, making fans everywhere only think about KH3. When they do that, they'll have to make sure they won't be interfering with any other games that are releasing soon as they might not want to risk losing sales.
I think he meant that a story set in the RoD/filling in the gaps in the story line would be a good concept for another KH game and anything else seems really random. But I could be wrong.
That would make sense, but KH's story is always taking twists and turns, I'm pretty sure any addition would be incorporated somehow (I'm not saying it would make sense xP)
To be fair, the very idea of playing as Aqua in the Realm of Darkness suggests interesting things about the story. For one, it'd almost have to be more psychological, given that there wouldn't be a lot of real people around for her to interact with. For another, it'd be focused on someone in an incredibly precarious position both physically (due to the constant threat of Heartless attack) and mentally (due to isolation added on top of everything Aqua's been through already), which would easily translate into the sort of tension KH doesn't normally do.
Oh...that is a good reason

Now you are making me even more depressed that BbSv2 wasn't a game. My original want to play it was more "primeval" I guess you could call it.
jkjkjkjk I've always wanted to play as Aqua more because I love her as a character (her voice, not so much). I thought the direction the game seemed to be going was also cool as I really wanted to see what became of the worlds that fell to darkness. UGH! I'm honestly starting to question why Nomura would can the game? It doesn't make sense to me. I can't see him making a game like Re:Coded, but then cancelling this one. I'm not saying Re:Coded and Coded were bad, just that they weren't really important. I would have rather him made the only important cutscene in Re:Coded the secret ending to BbSv2 or something -__-
has he ever scrapped a project before?
Honestly, if he did, I'm not sure if he would openly announce it unless the game was given a lot of thought and consideration like BbSv2 was.
