A really amazing convoluted mess of epic proportions. To me, I compare it to listening to Destati from Yoko Shimomura's Drammatica album backwards layered three times over at different points.

In short it is really good but have an aspirin ready.

Oh my Ethy, that's... Actually a perfect way to describe it .-.

But for a typical KH fan, it leaves your mind in semi-tattered pieces ...in a good way? :)

You'll enjoy the game, let's just say that xD

Thanks! That's good to know :D

I just thought of another question though. Considering that nearly all other KH games took many years to develop, while this one only took a few years (2-3 tops?), did it suffer for it in any way? Are the graphics slightly worse than BBS? Are there fewer worlds because of it? Anything at all?

There are slightly fewer worlds (seven total), but they made up for it by making the areas HUGE.

The graphics look on par with BBS to me. There are fewer worlds though, yes. But you go through them as both Sora and Riku, and unlike BBS where they made the playthroughs shorter for each character both Sora and Riku's stories in each world are about as long as a single visit in KH1 or 2. So it still evens out playtime wise. Also, the areas in each world are freaking huge, and there is a decent amount of platforming as well! So the worlds that are included have a lot to offer :)

Somewhere of course.
Are there framerate issues that are as bad as they were in BBS?

The issues are fairly average compared to the rest of the installments. Slowdowns in small areas with lots of enemies all acting and flashy skills being utilized. The usual.

When you say the story is really convoluted at the end, do you think it will be too confusing for people who haven't kept up with the whole series and don't know every aspect? The reason I ask is because that may determine how many people like it, ultimately affecting sales.

No, it shouldn't be that confusing, but you definitely wanna pay attention, and listen carefully.

I don't believe those people would actually care about the defining aspects of what makes it "confusing". They'd be more likely to just play through the entire game without really questioning who, what, when, where, why and how and just focus on playing and enjoying the game.

I think by the time a person gets to the ending, it's not going to affect sales : P

All this talk about the ending is really increasing... the urge...

After you finish the game, do you have to sit there for a little bit trying to comprehend what you just heard in order to get it? The only reason I ask is because I hate those types of cutscenes where you have to just sit and think for an extra 10 minutes after the scene already ended. However, if this is like that, I'll deal with it xP

It could affect sales after the first week or so. People who are on the fence about getting it will be deterred from a game that has such a disappointing ending (Mass Effect 3). I'm not say ME3's sales were bad, I'm just saying that there were probably a lot of people who decided not to get it considering its ending is supposed to be really bad (I don't have the game so IDK)

Hmmm I didn't think of that. But this ending sounds very enticing to me! And to clarify, are we talking about the regular ending or the secret ending?

I don't think so. You may be thinking about it, or letting it stew over, but not so much that you'd have to "comprehend" it, nessescarily

So there's a secret ending on top of the mind rape? Awesome.

I've managed to keep away from spoilers for now... and every time I get close to one I quickly realize what's happening and flee the scene. It's quite miraculous. If I play my cards right, this will be the first KH game I've played without major spoilers since the first.
