KH3: The End?

Anyone here feel that when KH3 TRULY comes out, it will be the last outing of Sora and Co.? It would be annoying for the series to go the route of overlong franchises like Megaman.

yeah i definetly agree KH 3 will be the final chapter of there story most probably cuz a after that what other ideas will nomura have up his sleeves we never know cuz nomura is so freakin anoying he wont tell us ANYTHING. only until tgs........WICH IS IN SEPTEMBER lol

After KH3, they would make a KH3 FM so kh3 isnt really the end..It most likely will be the last game as most series tend to stop at the third making..they might make another similar story line with the keyblades but a bit earlier in that worlds history or maybe even later.

yeah since this "new series" isn't gonna be the last game i think after they make KH3 they should make a KH3 FM and have it include a 3D version of the "new series" much like Re:CoM in KH2FM+

I agree fully with Athletics. I think after the series is over there will be another storyline later in the lives of Sora, Riku, and Kairi.

Maybe the series might contain their kids and they may have to go on an adventure of their own. WHO KNOWS

I think the next KH game that comes that finishes Sora's story, or at least continues on from the ending where Sora, Riku, and Kairi got the bottle from Mickey will be the last of KH. Nomura said that the next KH probably won't be about Sora.

He's going to need a miracle to make more original and fresh Kingdom Hearts games, and keeo the series alive.

I might have a theory, that the new game maybe will show us what happend before the story we know so far (Before KH1). That it gives us answers on stuff that have happend before Sora's time, and while we play the game it gets mixed up with the story we know, and then move on to things that happens after KH2... Don't know if you guys caught that..It's a bit complicated to explain.. :blink:But.. it's a theory

Well, since the new series won't be the last game, and if by KH3 you mean the game that continues Sora's story, yes, I'd like if that was the case.

Well kh3 is the past its about the "Original Weilder" but on the other hand it could be sorta like a trilogey like kh2 u start off one character and enend up Sora.Also this may not be the end for the attepts to bring kingdom hearts choas.

Yes. That we most likely play a new character in the beginning, and then we see or replay som of the scenes in KH triology, and then play Sora in his last mission. That the last part have something to do with what happened before KH1

@Silent Avera: What do you mean like FF, KH actually connects but in FF every story is a different one except for FFVII and FFX and the upcoming FFXII game for DS
@ThePowerOfPie: What you said about making a final mix of KH3 having the new series in 3D makes no sense
The next kh title will either be on PS3 or PSP so the game will already be in 3D format


Also the next kh series will probably be as long as the current one

Also the story line is about the three knights and there story
The story probably will also include Xehanort's memories

No, I don't think so, at least Kingdom Hearts will continue, Sora and co. I'm not sure. But Nomura once stated something like this:
"As soon as Nomura finishes Final Fantasy XIII he'd like to focus on the Kingdom Hearts series."

This was said by someone, after an interview with Nomura. Note that Nomura said KH series! So, I think that Kingdom Hearts is far from over....

I think Kingdom Hearts 3 should be the last game for the Kingdom hearts series. If it was to carry on like the Final fantasy series, it would get really stupid.

I am very well aware that the next KH titles will NOT be KH3. What I'm saying is once KH3 is made, should that be the end? I'm sure there'll still be spinoffs and such, but it shouldn't go too far.
