Didn't the crystal tools engine give them hell?I'm no expert, and frankly have no idea how long it takes to even make what we can see from the trailer, but I wouldn't be surprised if they started working on it since at least December 2012/ January 2013. But realistically, it would be another 2 years before we see it on shelves I'm guessing. But my question is, with Squares new engine, shouldn't that speed up production quite a bit? I don't mean to compare but they are popping out ff13 sequels pretty quickly. So wouldn't that also make it possible for them to finish the game quickly? idk. Someone enlighten me.
I'm guessing late 2015 since if not, IDK what game they'd release to keep it 1 game a year...plus now that FFXV is done (or nearly done) they have a long time to just focus solely on KH3.They write "now in development" in the trailer, so they of course only have some beta stuff available yet.
Considering for a true quality game you have to expect a development time of one and a half to two years, late 2015/early 2016 seems to be the most realistic option.
It would fit the optimistic schedule since they would have the rest of 2013, the entirety of 2014 and at least half, if not more of 2015 for concentrated development of KH III.I'm guessing late 2015 since if not, IDK what game they'd release to keep it 1 game a year...plus now that FFXV is done (or nearly done) they have a long time to just focus solely on KH3.
I'm just curious about if that "one per year" is for Japan or worldwide? I can see a late 2015 release for Japan which would be an early 2016 release for the US UNLESS they release the games worldwide at the same time, which would be shocking, amazing, and very unlikely.Predicting a month, I'll probably say they'll release KH III somewhere shortly after the TGS 2015 in Japan, with the western release being announced at Jump Festa.
If that's true, they managed to keep it secret for 3 years. I Don't see how you keep the developement of a game as anticipated as KH3 a secret for 3 years. But if it's true, then I'd say it could come out a lot sooner than 2016 as some people are anticipating.Guys, guys....IGN posted the following video:
Pay close attention to what that fella says:
they might be saving the concrete trailer for TGS or Jump Fiesta this year, but I have a small doubt that we wont be seeing another trailer until TGS next year. im still hoping for a 2015 releaseI doubt the game has been in development for more than a few months, because the trailer definitely didn't look like a game that has been worked on for 3 years.
