I use aeroga because it uses less MP and aeroza is extremely powerful. I started at level 51 and got to level 99 within like 35 mins.

Use ethers and food to boost your MP, use good MP accessories. Easiest way to power level in the game, you can get 1 or 2 level ups per run here.

Past LV 50 it seems like you never get anymore abilities for some reason.

"never get anymore abilities past level 50" that kinda makes sense i guess. not everyone's gonna take the time to level grind, no matter how easy it might be. this way you can get just about everything and not miss out on some really cool stuff
