What's the Axel ones? I'm curious why I got him (though I thought the description was spot-on. I do use humor to cope).

Everyone keeps mentioning characters and I'm like "aaaa I love them" and yet I'm sort of realizing I say that about every character.
It's no less true, I would die for all of them. Here they are for Axel

His Disney Movie

Robin Hood! I couldn't think of a more perfect movie for him. Axel is totally the type of "stick it to the man" person that would steal from the rich and give to the poor. Robin Hood is popular, he has a strong sense of justice, and a great sense of humor. He's even a redhead (I mean he's a fox but it counts right-).

His Flower

The Poinsettia. When trying to imagine a flower that would fit him it was the first one to come to mind (my mom was a florist and busiest around Christmastime, so I saw a lot of it growing up). It's such a bold red and it always seems to overtake everything around it. You can't help but look at it. It even sort of reminds me of his Chakrams.

His Grades

Bad, because I don't care. I simply don't see Axel doing well in a school environment. He's the smart kid that doesn't apply himself. I think slacker types would relate to that. His focus is largely on other things, not High School grammar. Things he values more, like spending time with friends or real world issues.

His Song

His is Phoenix by Fall Out Boy. I think those that relate to Axel proooobably listen to edgier music of the MCR, FOB, Panic at the Disco variety. It's just a trend I've noticed. The absolute chaos and fiery nature of the song suited him perfectly. The opening in particular sets the mood quite well for Axel and is very energetic.

The song is very "I'm living in the moment and you can't stop me". Another song I considered was "Could Have Been Me" by The Struts.

His Animal

The fox, of course. It's been associated with mischief for hundreds of years, and was a symbol of the Norse deity Loki who shares much in common with Axel.

His High School Persona

The Class Clown! Many of the people who associate with Axel are extroverted enough to stir up a bit of mischief when they feel they can get away with it. They also thrive on the energy of others, so making people laugh is to their benefit. Moreover, they likely cope with humor and so in uncomfortable situations, they will probably crack jokes. It would be very easy for someone like Axel to earn the Class Clown Rep.

His Disney Ride

The Rock'n Roller Coaster. What else could it possibly be? That sucker shoots you off at like 0 to 60mph right from the start while blaring dope rock music into your ears. I don't think you could pry Axel away from that ride if you tried.

His Vice

Surprisingly enough, Apathy. I think that people who feel emotions as strongly as Axel have a tendency to distance themselves away from things if they become overwhelmed. He has a soft side that a lot of people don't seem to recognize. This was an effort to encapsulate that.

"If you have a dream, don't wait. Act. One of life's little rules." --> I think Axel is relaying a lesson he learned from the Apathy mentioned above. He's very 100 or nothing, and I think sometimes it costs him. Therefore, the philosophy we see him engage with most of the time is that you lose every shot you don't take.

A lot of my shyer friends got her.

Her Disney movie

The Hunchback of Notre Dame. I largely chose each Disney movie based on the protagonist (usually peoples' favorite disney movie is because of some connection with a main character). Quasimodo is largely a victim of his surroundings and is treated as if he isn't supposed to exist and must be hidden away from having a true life. As such he's grown up quite shy and gentle-natured, and he yearns for a normal life he can't yet have. This one almost went to Roxas, but I thought Jim from Treasure Planet was a better personality match.

The Dark Succulent. This portion was largely based on color/shape association. Not only does the plant suit her darker aesthetic, but succulents are known for being easy to care for, which I think matches Xion's severely low standards of just wanting to be remembered and to be allowed friendship.

Good except for participation. This was again geared for the more quiet/shy folks. I think Xion would be quite good in school as she seems to be a smart girl, but her participation grade would likely suffer.

Her Song

The Place Where the Lost Things Go, from Mary Poppins. Not only is it a Disney song which is always a bonus, the lyrics describe the situation with Xion and her friends so well.

It almost sounds like Xion trying to comfort her friends

Her Animal

The Butterfly! Admittedly, there was little reasoning behind this other than the fact that it just felt right. I couldn't think of any other animal for her. I didn't feel like a doe encapsulated her beauty. I think part of it may have to do with the sentiment of change/metamorphosis, or the butterfly effect. How Xion was able to effect so many people, to the extent that their hearts never truly forgot her (Axel and his extra sea salt ice cream).

The Prince Charming Regal Carousel! I had difficulty imagining Xion enjoying any of the fast paced thrill rides like her friends. I think she would enjoy something beautiful, with a nice view. It was a close choice between this ride and Soarin'.

For her worst vice, I picked secrecy. I think that a lot of people who would relate to Xion would probably struggle with holding in how they truly feel. That can really damage oneself and result in harm to other people.

The quote is "Thank you for calling out my name...thank you for letting me be your friend." Have this clip from the KH Orchestra in case you want to cry.

I think Xion is very common because most KH fans/game nerds are some degree of introverted. This means the most likely characters to get are Xion, Ventus (he's not terribly shy, but moreso than Sora for certain), and Riku.
Genuinely, I'm surprised I haven't seen more Aquas!

I really like your reasoning for each of the answers they all fit Xion extremely well in my opinion. I’m honestly surprised that between both my attempts I only managed to get 2/9 answers for Xion. I wasn’t anywhere close to the result lol

Thanks so much! Character analysis is my favorite part of any series so I try to put thought into each character.
It helps that I adore Xion though haha
And I think a lot of the difficulty in aiming for a specific character is due to how abstract the quiz is. I intentionally made it in a way that's a bit difficult to aim for a certain character unless you know EXACTLY how the quiz works.

I think it's obnoxious when you take character personality quizzes and the options are blatantly obvious for each one because you never get a genuine sense of your results. Your inherent bias toward one character or another will always lead you astray.
Because of thought divergence this abstract quality will result in some hilarious inaccurate results for people, but I think for a lot of people it can produce genuine and surprising results.

I had to be SUPER careful when making Roxas' choices because he's the character I self-identify with so I had to be cognizant of that to avoid putting him into an ultra-specific box based on my biases.

There was one question that I was iffy on which answer to pick. So when I got Xion the first time, I went back and picked the other answer to see if the result would've changed and got Aqua instead.

I think I'm a mixture of these two descriptions (I bolded which parts fit most). I guess I was mostly shocked to get Xion at first, lol. You listed the choices to get Xion and I actually had only picked two of those when I got her (Animal and HS Persona, the latter is the one that I wasn't sure which option to pick).
