If Kairi came to Destiny Islands from Radiant Garden, what happened to her parents?

I mean, she had fallen to Darkness and wasn't really acting like herself.y'know, it's kinda funny. Aqua was in the realm of darkness for ten years, and the first time she met up with Mickey, she was completely shocked that it had been that long, claiming that it didn't even feel close to that long of a time period. Then the second time Mickey met up with her about a year later, she's suddenly pulling this "YOU LEFT ME HERE FOR SO LONG" act, when it had to have only felt like a week or two since the last time she saw him. Was she stupid, or just an asshole?
movie promised she'd be white and they fucking delivered. Sleeping Beauty promised a beauty that slept and they fucking delivered...So, Snow White is the fairest in the lands, but Aurora is the fairest in all the lands?

- In the last stretch of the fight, Mickey stands up and defeats the phantasms with the help of the other Guardians of Light
- As the other five heroes emerge upon Scala ad Caelum, Xehanort creates a second Keyblade armor using the fragments of his Keyblade, and the true final battle commences
- In the very last phase, Xehanort forces Sora into Rage Form and turns him upon Riku and Kairi
- In this fight, you can choose to play as either Riku or Kairi
- After Sora is purified, Donald and Goody rejoin the Destiny Trio and defeat Xehanort
- The other seven Guardians of Light rejoin the heroes and defeat Xehanort once and for all. The rest of the finale plays out as it did in canon, except while Sora doesn't sacrifice himself immediately after (since Kairi doesn't get fridged by Xehanort in this scenario), he does eventually fade away due to abusing the Power of Waking prior to the Demon Tide fight.
but why does Sora sacrifice himself if Kairi didn’t die?I’ve been thinking about how divisive the KH3 finale is, so I thought it’d be an interesting experiment for me to fix it’s more egregious faults while still keeping as much of the framework as possible.

I’m not sure how much this fixes, but I hope it makes at least a few people on this site happy.
Oh…well, he’d still fade out after the final battle due to using the Power of Waking prior to the Demon Tide fight.but why does Sora sacrifice himself if Kairi didn’t die?
I think it was implied that she was adopted by The Mayor of Destiny Islands in a KH1 flashback with Sora and Riku in The Secret place, and her biological Parents are most likely dead, probably killed by Xehanort or Melecent. If Kairi came to Destiny Islands from Radiant Garden, what happened to her parents?
Maleficent killed them, Xehanort wasn't the one who led the siege of Radiant Garden, Maleficent did. Amazing how it's been so many years since the first game and we STILL don't have a concrete glimpse of that day.I think it was implied that she was adopted by The Mayor of Destiny Islands in a KH1 flashback with Sora and Riku in The Secret place, and her biological Parents are most likely dead, probably killed by Xehanort or Melecent.
Remember that Another Side, Another story was a concept trailer according to Nomura and represented his ideas for a sequel. It wasn't supposed to be anything more than that, after all it was a crapshoot if the first game was going to sell well to begin with. It's entirely possible that in another universe, what you propose did happen and it goes one of three ways:What if Chernabog was the final boss of the first game, like he was intended to be? Would we still get stuff like Organization XIII and the Keyblade War?
The whole story changes the whole story of the series. After all, if he's the final boss, that means there must split related reason why. My guess is that Chernabog would've been revealed as the creator/king of the heartless instead. After all, they take after him visually.A: Chernabog is the final boss, and the ending drastically changes. Because Ansem is likely erased from the game's timeline, events surrounding the heartless creation are left unanswered but we still get the scene of SDG chasing pluto, as that was made early in development.
Actually, I wanted to maybe start a “What If?” discussion thread. Does this forum already have such a thread? What if Chernabog was the final boss of the first game, like he was intended to be? Would we still get stuff like Organization XIII and the Keyblade War?
Agreed.Maleficent killed them, Xehanort wasn't the one who led the siege of Radiant Garden, Maleficent did. Amazing how it's been so many years since the first game and we STILL don't have a concrete glimpse of that day.
That rings a bell. Maybe from some really old thread. But mods don’t like necro posting so let’s just talk about it here I guess. Or you could make a new one, whatever you want.Actually, I wanted to maybe start a “What If?” discussion thread. Does this forum already have such a thread?
