The main point is that I don't think they are re-doing lines that were already recorded. Now if they are making full cutscenes of all the scenes that were only text in Kingdom Hearts Final Mix too that is another story, but I don't see that Cloud/Sephiroth scene in the trailer that was talked about in the translations.

Well they have no reason the re-record lines in the Japanese version, all of the voice actors have remained consistent throughout the series I believe

Also I don't think that scene was said to actually be in the trailer was it? I believe it was just confirmed to be in the game.

It was mentioned by 4gamer and separate from their impressions, so it was information that came from SE and not from anything they watched.

People are saying the redub stuff in reference to English voices. The Japanese voice actors have been consistent throughout the ten years, and they are more adept at matching their old portrayals of characters when needed, so any additional voicing would be easy and nothing would need to be redubbed.

We were also stating if Days is getting text bubble scenes redone and dubbed, and the Cloud/Sephiroth scene in KH1 is getting dubbed as well, then there is a chance other text bubble scenes might have the same treatment which might possibly cause problems in the English version and for consistency it would all probably have to be redubbed, which is not what many really want.

Vexen might need a new Japanese Voice actor if they include his scenes in Days.

Aw, I loved his psychotic laugh Well, if they do include any new scenes of him then they will probably re-record his lines.

Not that it matters too much, seeing as the gist is there, but it was niggling at me so here's a better-matched to the localisation script of the trailer than my first version (with Re:CoM rather than CoM lines, as well as more accurate scene matches):

As promised, here's the comparison between the original video cutscenes and the TGS trailer. Again, I'm not at all satisfied that Square decided to crop the game. I also have a feeling they applied the cropping to the playable part of the game.

btw, I believe Riku's model is updated as well

Don't know where Riku is in that picture, but he helps you in that fight during the original game.

and can I say, the new enemy colours are so refreshing. It feels like they are brand new.
