"Avalos huh?..my names Roy." Roy nodded to the first to approach him, glad someone out of the population decided to accept. The white hair on his head stuck out a little to him, almost as much as the Crimson hair that Reyanna possessed. Had an interest in earrings too, something other guys around here did not have. All in all, he seemed like just a normal guy like him, nothing too spectacular about his form. When he was about to consider his challenge, another student approached, He stood much taller than Avalos, having deep brown hair that nearly matched the color of his eyes. The guy seemed highly formidable, much more than Avalos, but perhaps that was just the height and overall attitude this guy gave off. He cast a gaze to Avalos, remarking that he himself meant to fight a top ranking guy around here. It was true, the stronger, the better. He introduced himself as nicely as Rey did, and gave Avalos a comment about fighting with him too. Being eager to battle an opponent, especially a 'senior', he was more than happy to accept. That would make Avalos feel bad, he imagined. But this was THE Terra, the Terra all these kids talked about ..and the one most of the girls squealed over.
He went out of his way to ask him, and going and turning his back just because someone else came up ..that was rude, rude entirely. Problem was, he may never have a chance to fight Terra like this again. If he really was at the top, and if Avalos really was new like him, then he wanted the full experience. Turning his head towards Avalos instead of Terra, he smiled widely. "I don't want to sound ungrateful, but I've heard a lot about this guy ..I want the most out of a one on one fight with a top student like him, and I might not get a chance like this for a long time. I must seem like a real jerk for this, but I'd like to take his offer instead." He really felt bad for doing this, but he didn't show it. Instead, he was going to make a promise to him, a promise he'd like to keep. Roy hated liars, and he especially hated being one of them when he had to. Balling his right fist again, he pointed it at Avalos, smiling with determination this time. "Avalos, we'll spar for sure someday, promise."
The promise made, he lowered his fist and spread his fingers, running it through his hair and keeping it at the back in a relaxed manner. Hearing that nervous voice up ahead, off behind Terra, Roy looked and found Reyanna there again, wishing him good luck from afar. Such a nice person ...he might like it here. "Thanks, and good luck to you Reyanna, I'm sure you'll do great!" he said, even if her back was turned, maybe she still heard. But back to business..
Looking up at the top student of top students, Roy nodded to him. "I'm glad you gave me a chance to battle someone like yourself, its nice of you ...but." he pointed at him with his left hand, which was free, and was inches from his nose. "That doesn't mean I'll hold back Terra, and you better not either!"
Yeah, it was a Spar, but it didn't mean they couldn't do the best they both could do. No magic? Fine, no manipulation of his weapons, he didn't need that to best Terra. So long as he did the best he could, it was all that mattered to him. Seemed like this would be a good year for him ...
