Sweat trickled down his face, Xander rushed through the halls at lightning speed as he stopped every time he hit a dead end. After about five minutes of trying to find it he finally entered the giant sparring room.

How do I always forget where this huge place is? Xander pondered. He noticed first at the amount of students that were in there. Some were tall, short, muscular and even one kid had an enormous sword on his back. How does he fight with something so heavy, won't it slow him down?

After counting, losing count, then re-counting Xander slapped his forhead. Please don’t tell me they’re all fighting!? He sighed heavily and sat in a chair nearby awaiting further orders. Man I hope I don’t have to fight today.

Levis slowly opened his eyes. He knew what had just happened. He had missed his first class of the day sleeping in another tree. Levis's looked up at the green leaves that were above him. He had a good snooze but he knew he would get in trouble.

Sure he could be a good student, but something in him told him to just not get involved. But he had to, he was getting bored, and the next class was supposed to be a sparring class. Levis began to stretch again like he had done before and slowly climbed down the tree that he had slept in.

As soon as his feet touched ground Levis stopped for a moment. Thinking about where the sparring would take place, Levis took off heading towards the room that most of the students would be in.

Levis was lucky, he had entered the large, no, gigantic room, quite easily. He breathed a sigh of relief as he began to walk into the room his hand summoning his keyblade. He put his Keyblade to the side so he could balance the weight. As he did he saw a familiar cat perched on someone's head. Thinking this could be his chance to actually talk to this girl and be friends with her he silently walked up to her, standing to her right, he noticed her spear, an interesting weapon of choice.

"You know, its not polite to not tell someone your name when they told you theirs." Levis muttered to the Cat girl.

So far so clear... Nobody approaching her or staring despite the blaringly obvious cat upon her hood. Maybe this sparring session wouldn't be so bad so long as she could pick out a weakling? Like... Maybe that kid with the huge sword that could break a mammoth's back. He seemed like he'd be really alow and easily off tempered with some of her magic. Then again, if that kid managed to get a hit in, she was probably done and out with bones like hers. Goddang, why was it when she had the most horrid sisters around, one of which who thought it 'fun' to ride her about like a horse, she was still as fragile as century old china? Well, okay, that was an exaggeration, she could probably survive a car-wreck but, that didn't stop her from feeling too open in battle.

Suddenly, a voice caught her off guard, that kid from earlier, Le... Lee? No... Um, like those jeans only with an 's'... Levis? Ah, yeah, Levis. Goddang it, and he'd managed to get so close! Why hadn't Sith warned her? Then, Ciralars realized something. The cat was purring, contentedly pawing on the fabric of her jacket while looking at the boy with a dumb grin on his face. Nasty little traitor! See if I give you any treats tonight.

Averting her gaze, leaning the opposite direction of the kid, and making sure her hood was up, Cira tried to give the air of someone who could care less about other people. To be honest, she hated surprises. And him popping up out of nowhere just made her nervous. Where had he been for the entirety of Baldy's speech? "What makes you think I wanna be polite?" Oh, dear lord, her tongue had a way of betraying her. Then again, that was what she was thinking. Well, at least there was to be no butt-kicking until the teacher arrived, right?

"Mreeow~!" Sith rowled, still smiling at Levis.

Shut up, Cait. Shut up damn you!

Awkwardness set in. She didn't belong there, amongst buddies and all, if anything she was a burden. With an inward sigh she looked at Aqua, giving a meek smile and slight bow she walked away; towards the sparring room, hopefully.

She soon found herself in the immense sparring room, her breath was taken away as she stared at the room, students arrived en masse crowding the room rather quickly. Wait, was she supposed to fight in front of EVERYONE?!

Panic set in, her breathing quickened, Crap, crap, crap, why in front of everyone? Why fighting?! Why not something like underwater basket-weaving?! Then she realized, out of everyone here she stuck out like a sore thumb - she hated that expression - mostly due to her hair, aw damn it. Pulling up her hood she bowed her head and walked aimlessly, hopefully no more attention until lun-

BAM!

Falling to her butt she felt as though she just ran into a brick wall, what the hell was that? Looking up she noticed an unfazed gentleman talking to another hooded girl with a cat, oh crap; don't notice her, don't notice her. Rolling directly behind her, she shot to her feet and began to run, with a fierce cat-like jump, she spun in mid-air perching her hand atop someone's shoulder she used him to jump upward, catching a support beam she spun over the beam then was standing crouched on the beam. Turning around she noticed she was trekked a good distance between her and whomever she crashed into, looking ahead she then noticed someone sleeping on one of the beams.

This caught her by surprise, she can't escape anyone! Stumbling off the beam she fell to the floor, turning in mid-air she landed on her feet in a graceful manner. Sighing a breath of relief she looked around and noticed a good amount of the crowd staring at her, pulling her hood down further she slithered away to a vacant corner.

Nice first day of school.

Too be honest Levis hadn't thought about that response. Why would she want to be polite? Well maybe so she can get friends? Or maybe Levis was just being bored and wanted someone to talk to?

For the life of him, Levis couldn't think of something to say. Then he felt someone bump into him. He turned around to see another hooded person on the floor get up and run across the room quite hastily. She then climbed up the support beams only to come straight back down to the floor.

Few things could describe what Levis had just seen. Amazement, surprise, awkwardness. But Levis was too good of a person to say anything. He then saw the person head towards a corner. Man was this a strange way to start off in the Academy. Turning back to the Cat Girl, Levis petted the cat on top of her head who was purring.

"Well, maybe you should be polite so you can make friends? Otherwise its going to be a long year at this school by yourself and your cat." Levis said smiling as he began to scratch the cat around his ears. He put his hand down and sighed.
"All I'm saying is that I was trying to introduce myself so we can get to know each other better." Levis said making his keyblade disappear for the time being. He put his hands behind his head so he looked like he was calm in this situation.

"What you did was pretty cool, I can do it too!"

A young man, although not too young from Rey, was standing in front of her with his hands on his hips, a grin placed on his face. Though younger by perhaps a few months or more, he still had a few inches on her, and he was glad for that. Point was, he was here because he was interested in her. Since arriving here last night, he hadn't gotten much chance to socialize with most of the student population, but a lot of them didn't want to talk to him. Was he too confidence? Too cheerful? Whatever the reason, he didn't need them so long as he believed in himself to begin with. People gave her strange looks, some whispered and made insults behind her back, he heard it all as he headed over there, making sure to frown at everyone who did. Just because she could do things that others don't, didn't make her weird at all.

Leaning forward so he could meet her shy eyes, he turned his grin into a welcoming smile, letting her know that he was not here to tease, but to make friends if possible. "You're new too, right? You shouldn't let people intimidate you, stand tall!" Roy was a leader when it came to encouragement, and it looked like Reyanna had a lack of it. "Oh!" standing back normally, he forgot that a name wasn't given. Rude of him, but maybe it wouldn't matter to her anyway. "I'm Roy by the way, and I plan to be the best, better than anyone here. I'm going to be a hero one day!" His introduction showed him as proud and filled with spirit. His goal would be met one day, he'd be sure of it. Nothing was getting in the way of his dream. "And what about you?"

_

Meanwhile, the Master Xehanort had proceeded to the training room, hands behind his back and eyes focused on nothing but moving forward. These students were all blind to the power they could really possess. Not many seemed fond of his talk of the Keyblade Wars, which led him to believe his plan couldn't come to pass. More than half of this Academy were just brats who didn't deserve such powers they had. No, he needed to pick carefully ...Terra was a likely accomplice. He relied on darkness, and for that, Eraqus minded him and kept a close eye. If he used that darkness, he could defeat Eraqus with ease. Unfortunate as it was, that plan was put on hold. He needed to find more than one candidate in his campaign. Passing through the courtyard, students hurriedly realized that class was soon beginning and ran past him. Anyone late would be met with his ....'swift judgment'.

Let's determine who has the strength I'm looking for...

With Master Xehanort's lecture being over, Vincent was already out of the hallway and on his way to the next class. He knew exactly where they dojo was, and he wouldn't have any trouble getting there. He walked by a ton of students, all of them giggling, laughing, sharing the latest gossip, and such. Really, it was all boring, so he avoided most of it. Walking down the large hallway, he mumbled out a faint 'hi' to some people he knew. They either waved back, or didn't really do anything at all. He was just too tired to care.

Reaching the incredibly big dojo, he already saw that a group kids here, all with their weapons out. Not really caring right now, Vincent walked to the wall right next to the door and slumped down to the floor. A little nap wouldn't hurt anyone. Why am I so tired today?

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Eraqus looked as both Ven and Aqua left as quickly as he came. Both of them rushing off to Xehanort's history lecture. Sometimes it would drop that class, and it would even bore him to death. But that's Xehanort's lessons for you. Standing up, all of a sudden a small moogle ran into him. Looking down at him, his face lit up with a small smile, and helped the moogle up. He started going on about how he was tardy, most likely talking about Xehanort's class. "Young moogle, it's ok. Xehanort's lecture is over. Now come along, we shall head to the dojo. Sparring class is about to begin soon." The courtyard had a door that took him right in front of the dojo, and that's the door he took.

Walking into the dojo, and seeing that the students have already gathered, he began to walk to them all. "Alright! Listen up students! As you can tell, today we are sparring! I want no magic used at all! This is strictly melee only! Anyone who uses magic, shall be punished. Now, everyone find a sparring partner, and clear it with me before we start!" he said, his voice booming throughout the whole place.

Her face lit up with a brilliant smile, he was so nice to her that she couldn't believe it! Another glance at his face and she saw that he was rather handsome, pulling back her hood she let her crimson hair fall upon her shoulders. "Reyanna Wo-Wolfe." Softly replying to Roy, a meek smile played on her lips as she looked up, "I.. I hope we can become frien-"

"All right! Listen up students!" She flinched at the loud and sudden voice, he sounded as if he had the ability to tear this entire building down and that freaked her out immensely, "As you can tell, today we are sparring. I want no magic used at all! This is strictly melee only! Anyone who uses magic, shall be punished. Now, everyone find a sparring partner, and clear it with me before we start!"

Perfect, just perfect! On the first day of all days, everyone gets to fight in front of everyone. Then she remembered, that sleeping guy! Maybe he wouldn't be a tough fighter, easy victory which means; less embarrassment! Perfect!!

"Ex-excuse me for a bit." She said to Roy bowing slightly, with a quick jump she scaled the walls again and reached the support beams up top. She found Gir immediately, poking his arm she spoke softly, "Excuse me, uh.. Sir?" She felt silly calling him that, "We are having a sparring match.. Should we.. Match up?"

Yeah... Be a 'nice' person. What would that get you? Just Hell on a platter, shoved right in your face. God, didn't these people know? Attaching yourself to others meant opening up doors for weakness. The more friends you had, the more weaknesses and exposed wounds you had. Just having Cait Sith was enough, and Cira was careful even with her sisters. Although... She still loved them at the bottom of her heart, she couldn't stand getting that close to them. Same went for everyone else.

The worst thing she could have happen was for someone to betray her. Again...

Damn you... Frickin' stupid family war.

Then, she realized Levis was petting her cat, and said cat was enjoying the treatment. Pff, furball, always trying to lead her into traps. Why did she even let him close? Well... It was probably because she needed something to talk to. If not, then she'd just be the snarky psycho chick who talked to herself. "Listen, Levi, I've seen people like you before. I don't want to get to 'know you better'. Okay?" She flicked her spear, twirling it so the barbed end was faced towards the ground, and then stabbed it so that it'd make a nice leaning post. "The smaller your world is, the less wars there are. A king with a single advisor has only to worry of one knife." And a person alone only fears their shadow...

"Alright! Listen up students! As you can tell, today we are sparring!" Oh goody, the teacher was here and... Wait, is that the same guy who yelled at her that morning? "I want no magic used at all! This is strictly melee only! Anyone who uses magic, shall be punished." SH*T. Was he trying to make this impossible for her? Without her magic, all she had was a dinky metal twig! "Now, everyone find a sparring partner, and clear it with me before we start!" Ciralars' eyes darted towards Levis. He certainly didn't look like a pushover...

In a sudden dash, the girl ripped her spear out of the ground and ran for the other side of the gym, Cait Sith still clinging on to her jacket. Heh heh... No.

Well... Looks like it's just the waiting game for now. Unless, of course, I get lucky and have a chance to spar with Aqua for once. He'd done it before, back when he was still a new student, and found it to be both challenging and thrilling. Nowadays, however, it seemed like everyone wanted to fight a certain someone or, from the looks of some of the hiding and scattering students, didn't want to fight at all.

How is it they became students? Was I ever once that cowardly? He thought long and hard about it, barely noticing a red blur go dashing across the room for shelter. Eh... He'd wait for someone else to make the first move for once.

Such an odd dream.

He doesn't even like sheep. Before he could further investigate he stirred as someone poked him on his arm, he only heard tidbits of what she said, something about sparring and matching up. Wait, matching up? A confession? Opening his eyes he immediately saw that familiar crimson hair, ha; no way she could get the guts to confess on the first day. She must be talking about the sparring match..

Wait, what?

He sat upright and saw Master Eraqus, crap; he must have started the actual sparring match..

I hate my life.

Why was she challenging him to a fight was a good question, he turned and saw her head bowed, she nervously fidgeted with her fingers and her cheeks were as crimson as her hair. She must think he is a pushover.

I hate people.

Then he sighed reluctantly, it seems he is almost forced to fight a girl despite his prayers to god or whomever was up there. But looking around, these guys seemed determined on proving something to everyone, he personally could care less but that would mean getting his butt handed to him if he fought anyone else. Looking at Rey he sighed again, but a girl?!

I hate everything that has existed..

"Fine, by the way Flare," Hm, nice nickname, "Name's Gir. Tell me your name afterward, but it wouldn't matter since I'm calling you Flare from now on."

He said with a slight smirk, leaping from his spot he landed a couple of feet in front of Roy. His indifferent eyes fell on Roy, with a shrug he turned around and walked towards Eraqus, "This going to be one of those deals where two people fight and everyone walk? That would be such a drag." Skipping class, sleeping in the next class, and complaining about the first assignment given; great start.

I did it!

Easier than expected, Roy's goal had come true, and he had gotten some positive emotion out of this girl, who's name he had discovered to be Reyanna Wolfe. A very fine name, and it went well across the tongue. "Reyanna Wolfe .." he said under his breath, wishing his last name went that well with his first name. Roy was so much easier though, and its not like his last name really mattered anyway. What was important was that this girl didn't look at him as if he was strange or anything. She was going to make a request, which he understood fully before the interruption by Master Eraqus., announcing that the next class, the most anticipated one in his opinion, was about to begin. He looked over his shoulder and had a gleam of excitement in his eyes. "All right!" he said cheerfully. Hurriedly, Reyanna moved off, although very politely when he turned around to find her back slightly arched, bowing. So polite. She definitely had manners ..her parents must have been proud.

"Okay, maybe we can talk more later, bye for now!" he told her as she began moving off. One of the more pleasant people he had seen ..he'd definitely be sure to be her friend. Watching her for a few moments, he turned his attention back to the area the students were gathering in, putting his hands behind his head as he did so. "I'm starting to get excited!" he muttered in an, you guessed it, excited tone. Taking a step forward, someone he didn't recognize landed ahead of him, giving him a questionable look and moving off. Weird ..but perhaps another potential friend. The look wasn't that inviting though. Back to the business at hand, his brown eyes looked over the crowd of kids running around. This would take too long.

"Hm.....Hey!" he shouted loudly, getting a good deal of people to look at him. Dropping his arms to his sides, he raised his right fist and pounded it against his chest twice. "I'm looking for a partner too, a really strong one ...is there anyone here who will give me all they've got!?" his voice raised, he looked around, not seeing many who'd approach. Most people laughed or rolled their eyes, but he just shook his head with a smirk. "Laugh as much as you want, but I'm going to be the greatest student to ever enter this academy, and I'll prove it in a sparring match with one of you! Who's willing to accept my challenge?" Arrogance?

More like some serious confidence, but it was hard to tell. The joyful smile on his face said otherwise..

Is that thunder?

Avalos woke to the sound of what he thought was a boom of thunder but it turned out to be the voice of this man......very regal looking...and yet also very hardened a the same time...old with age and wisdom. And yet he had a youthful vibrance that let one know he could still fight....the simple kids around him were whispering things like "It's Master Eraqus." "Master Eraqus is here!!!" "Guys its.....HIM" Master Eraqus..huh? That was a cool name....oh shoot he's talking.."I want no magic used at all! This is strictly melee only! Anyone who uses magic, shall be punished. Now, everyone find a sparring partner, and clear it with me before we start!" No magic? Well luckily this sword wasn't just for show...he knew how to use it....so who would he be able to spar with....not knowing anyone here...he was hoping someone whored themself out for a fight....that would be the easiest way to go.

Looking around he saw people scurrying to find a partner....This girl with a cat on her head was running away from this guy ....and the cat still managed to stay on her head....WTF? The nimble girl was running somewhere else..until she found the guy who was sleeping outside earlier and poked him...arousing him from his sleep. And then there was this other guy.....and what he said caused joy in Avalos' heart....."I'm looking for a partner too, a really strong one ...is there anyone here who will give me all they've got!?" WHAT DID HE JUST SAY....""Laugh as much as you want, but I'm going to be the greatest student to ever enter this academy, and I'll prove it in a sparring match with one of you! Who's willing to accept my challenge?" A little arrogant? Perhaps. But thats the kind of person he needed to fight.....because he knew they were gonna give their all....and the funny thing is..he was gonna lose...most likely....because he was kinda rusty with the blade....and that is also why he wanted to fight someone with such vigor....he would help him train with this sword. Quickly getting of the bench, he made his way towards this strange character....he studied him....he wasn't skinny....but he wasn't big either....he looked rather athletic...and he looked.... dirty. Who is this guy? Well.....he would figure that out later...after pushing all the people out of the way he finally reached the other guy.....noticed he was taller...sucked it up and and said...."Hi, my name is Avalos and i would like to take you up on your offer to spar."

A student, a new one from the looks of things, walked into the center of the room, immediately grabbing the attention of anyone watching and waiting for directions. "Hm.....Hey! I'm looking for a partner too, a really strong one ...is there anyone here who will give me all they've got!? Laugh as much as you want, but I'm going to be the greatest student to ever enter this academy, and I'll prove it in a sparring match with one of you! Who's willing to accept my challenge?"

He seemed quite confident, something you didn't get a lot of around here. To some, it was borderline arrogance, but to Terra it was a welcome sight to see someone so openly ready for a challenge. Then again, it was only moments ago he was musing about how new students had the tendency to challenge the biggest fish swimming around. Still, this kid seemed like he was ready for whatever would come his way, so Terra decided to take him up on that offer.

"Well then..." He approached both the challenger and someone who had walked up to take up his offer. Speaking towards the student who was about to take up the position, Terra said, "From what I could tell, he wanted to take up someone other than one of the new kids." Summoning his keyblade in his right hand and resting it at his side, the young-man smirked, speaking towards the original speaker now, "My name is Terra, I've been around here for a few years and I wouldn't mind taking you up on your challenge." He motioned towards the kid with the large sword on his back, "I could even take you up as well, unless you want to fight someone on your own." It would be interesting to fight two people at once but, Terra had the faint feeling that this kid here would be able to keep his hands full.

She leaped from her spot and landed a good feet away from Roy, hearing his proclamation she giggled at his little outburst, all she saw was Roy looking so dashing - despite his current appearance - having the guts to do that she wished she could be so confident. Suddenly she realized she was staring at Roy, bowing her head she flushed a deep shade of pink, looking up she tried her best to retain her normal color, "G-Good luck." She managed to squeak out, then turning to her right she noticed Gir - the ever so lazy Gir - asking Master Eraqus a question about something. She couldn't quite hear but she felt a bit..

Anxious.

She had gotten herself a nickname already, Flare, she felt a bit elated, this was the first nickname she gotten EVER! She stopped herself from giggling aloud, she wondered what was taking so long though, and the one thing that ran through her mind was...

The fight.

Oh man, would Roy be watching?! Turning around she noticed Roy, Terra, and sword-guy over there, would they all be watching her fight? Nononononono, that cannot happen! She'll embarrass herself! She'll trip or somehow stab herself, and in front of Roy of all people!!

Quickly she turned around and headed for Gir, catching the last of his question, "M-Master.. Would this fight be publicly shown?" Restating Gir's question, damn it please say no!

"Avalos huh?..my names Roy." Roy nodded to the first to approach him, glad someone out of the population decided to accept. The white hair on his head stuck out a little to him, almost as much as the Crimson hair that Reyanna possessed. Had an interest in earrings too, something other guys around here did not have. All in all, he seemed like just a normal guy like him, nothing too spectacular about his form. When he was about to consider his challenge, another student approached, He stood much taller than Avalos, having deep brown hair that nearly matched the color of his eyes. The guy seemed highly formidable, much more than Avalos, but perhaps that was just the height and overall attitude this guy gave off. He cast a gaze to Avalos, remarking that he himself meant to fight a top ranking guy around here. It was true, the stronger, the better. He introduced himself as nicely as Rey did, and gave Avalos a comment about fighting with him too. Being eager to battle an opponent, especially a 'senior', he was more than happy to accept. That would make Avalos feel bad, he imagined. But this was THE Terra, the Terra all these kids talked about ..and the one most of the girls squealed over.

He went out of his way to ask him, and going and turning his back just because someone else came up ..that was rude, rude entirely. Problem was, he may never have a chance to fight Terra like this again. If he really was at the top, and if Avalos really was new like him, then he wanted the full experience. Turning his head towards Avalos instead of Terra, he smiled widely. "I don't want to sound ungrateful, but I've heard a lot about this guy ..I want the most out of a one on one fight with a top student like him, and I might not get a chance like this for a long time. I must seem like a real jerk for this, but I'd like to take his offer instead." He really felt bad for doing this, but he didn't show it. Instead, he was going to make a promise to him, a promise he'd like to keep. Roy hated liars, and he especially hated being one of them when he had to. Balling his right fist again, he pointed it at Avalos, smiling with determination this time. "Avalos, we'll spar for sure someday, promise."

The promise made, he lowered his fist and spread his fingers, running it through his hair and keeping it at the back in a relaxed manner. Hearing that nervous voice up ahead, off behind Terra, Roy looked and found Reyanna there again, wishing him good luck from afar. Such a nice person ...he might like it here. "Thanks, and good luck to you Reyanna, I'm sure you'll do great!" he said, even if her back was turned, maybe she still heard. But back to business..

Looking up at the top student of top students, Roy nodded to him. "I'm glad you gave me a chance to battle someone like yourself, its nice of you ...but." he pointed at him with his left hand, which was free, and was inches from his nose. "That doesn't mean I'll hold back Terra, and you better not either!"

Yeah, it was a Spar, but it didn't mean they couldn't do the best they both could do. No magic? Fine, no manipulation of his weapons, he didn't need that to best Terra. So long as he did the best he could, it was all that mattered to him. Seemed like this would be a good year for him ...

Xander felt his heart drop within him. No magic? Crap what do you guys think my bullets are made of!? he thought as he started to pace back and forth trying to think of a strategy but nothing came to mind.

He noticed a nearby empty bench and sat on it placing his hands on his head and letting out a deep sigh. I hope no one chooses me otherwise its an easy win for them.

He turned his attention to a kid who was just plain out arrogant and cocky.
"I'm looking for a partner too, a really strong one ...is there anyone here who will give me all they've got!?" his voice raised, he looked around, not seeing many who'd approach. "Naw don't feel like getting my ass kicked" Xander muttered.

The amount of enthusiasm the most of the students were showing was great. Eraqus was already starting to become slightly proud of them, but they had a long way to go. Some of the students had already found sparring parents, and he approved them and sent them off. They would have to wait for his signal to start. Order needed to be set here, and he was going to be the one to set it. Suddenly one of the students jumped down from the rafters, not really surprising Eraqus. Another girl dropped down beside him, looking to another student and bowing to him. Both of them asked him if the fights would be publicly watched. "No, they won't. You will go find a suitable spot, wait for my signal, and begin. It's that simple. Nothing complicated at all. I'll just be watching your progress is all," he said staring intently at both students. Something tells me this boy is incredibly damn dull.

Suddenly a student burst out, asking for a challenge. The sudden outburst annoyed Eraqus to no end. He just didn't like students with to much ego. Your ego may be just a little too big for you. I can already tell, you have no chance at being the best. Plus, this school is only for helping your abilities improve, not show yourself off. Arrogant fool.Shaking his head, he turned his utmost attention to a few more students who came to him for approval. He gave it to them, send them off, and waited for more to come to him. "Hurry up and find a sparring partner! I'm sure none of us want to wait here all day!" he said, his voice booming throughout the whole dojo. These kids. They all show potential. Hopefully they will start putting it to use.

Gir shrugged casually, good now his domestic abuse won't be made public.

Frowning a bit at that joke he made a mental note: Mind; watch the jokes from now on, re: be decent and humane.

That Eraqus's gaze was fishy, but he didn't think too much off it, with his hands in his pockets he trudged off. No need in showing him respect, to be honest respect needs to be earned; no matter who you are. You could be the savior of mankind, but Gir sure as hell won't be going gaga for your dreamy eyes.

Scoffing lightly at his joke he found a suitable spot, in the far bottom left corner of the entire room. Everyone was converged in the middle, no spectators, good; ironically enough he found some peace and quiet only after being challenged to a fight.

Turning around he waited for Flare to follow, wonder how she would fight. But melee only huh? Would she resort to using her keyblade? It didn't matter, he just wanted to get this over with fast.

Stepping out of the darkness, and into the light
With a heavy sigh, he walked towards the rather arrogant boy, giving a look to Cail that said "I'll be right back." As he approached the boy he noticed that Terra was already talking to them and had challenged him. HE figured, arrogant as the boy is, that he would surely accept the fight. But he couldn't help but give his plan a shot.

He walked upt to the group, looking to Terra. "Hello old friend, Well Guess I can't say that, we don't talk much anymore. It's Caden, Remember? Been here since i was 7." He looked at the two boys before him and back to Terra. "Think we could convince Master Eraqus to let us do a duel match? You and me versus the new guys?"

Quite frankly, he had rather hoped so. Not only did he want a chance to fight alongside Terra, he thought it would give the new guys a sense of teamwork. Also the added bonus of teaching the new kid that arrogance only leads to conflict would be a nice little bonus.

Cailey didn't exactly know what to expect. There were a ton of people located inside and everyone was starting to find a sparring partner, but Cail being the non-social person she is, didn't want to go up to anyone to fight, unless they were stupid enough to make a huge scene and be a show-off even if they know nothing.
"First-years... second years..."
Cail whispered, looking around. She saw so many people. Then suddenly Caden came up next to her and gave her a cheerful grin.
"You ready for this?"
Cail really wanted to say that she wasn't, but it wasn't the fighting part that made her nervous, it was the talking part, the asking part to be more specific.
"Yeah, I think so, fighting someone shouldn't seem too difficult on the first day," She said with a little bit of insecurity in her voice. She would probably be fine unless she was going up against Aqua, or Terra, but that most definitely wasn't on her list of priorities for today. Then she noticed a girl. A really acrobatic girl, she looked younger, maybe a first-year, but she had so much agility. Cail stared at her like some other people in the room.
"Well she be fun to spar with," Cail said to no-one in particular. Then she heard a large booming voice that reminded her of thunder.
"Alright! Listen up students! As you can tell, today we are sparring! I want no magic used at all! This is strictly melee only! Anyone who uses magic, shall be punished. Now, everyone find a sparring partner, and clear it with me before we start!" he said, his voice booming throughout the whole place. It was Master Eraqus. Cail sighed after she heard the no magic part.
Then there was scrambling. Kids of all ages trying to find partners. "Hm.....Hey!" A voice called out louder than than the others. "I'm looking for a partner too, a really strong one ...is there anyone here who will give me all they've got!?" There was a faint sound of snickering from other students, but Cail ignored them and stayed silent. "Laugh as much as you want, but I'm going to be the greatest student to ever enter this academy, and I'll prove it in a sparring match with one of you! Who's willing to accept my challenge?" Puu-leez. Arrogance and a huge-ass ego wasn't going to get you that many friends, but then again, being a silent loner wasn't either. Even thought Cail had some friends she still felt like a hypocrite, thanks Kid. Then Caden saw Terra and gave her a look that said "I'll be right back." Couldn't finding a sparring partner be somewhat easier?
