This might have been picked up on before (I'm a n00b to these forums), but you know that the meteor shower signified the joining of the worlds, and the joining of the dimensions, etc? And that in KH2 Riku has summoned the shower because people are in the wrong worlds? Well think over this...

I was reading the official Kingdom Hearts Walkthrough, and for the Kairi Character description, it says, and I quote, 'Kairi arrived on the Destiny Islands on a night which saw shooting stars showering across the sky. She lost her memory that night and to this day cannot recall any details of her origins.'

Surely that means Kairi's from a different world? And if that's true, it means that she has to go back to her own world, just as Sora has to go back to his. However, I doubt Disney or Square-Enix would give the game a bad ending, so what could this mean for the ending? All the worlds linking up?

What are your views?

Um. n00b. Everyone knows she is from Hollow Bastion. Have you not played KH1 yet? Because I find it very difficult to believe you did.

Formulating Theories whitout knowing the story of KH. Kairi is not from Destiny Islands. She is from Hollow Bastion. She was send by ansem to search for the key.

This is from Ansem Report 11

In opening the door that stores a world's hearts, the wall around that world is broken down. We see this as a shooting star. Through this, I have been able to understand the reason why the material known as Gummi Blocks has the ability to allow travel to other worlds.

The cause of a world's wall collapsing is the appearance of the Heartless, but finding a world's door takes time. And robbing a world of its heart is a similar case.

If the door has been closed by the key known as the Keyblade, you probably cannot reach that world's heart again. Before the one with the Keyblade appears in this world, I must take measures to do something.

Supposing that there is a close relationship between the Princesses and the Keyblade, it seems likely that they will resonate with each other...

I have chosen one special girl. I do not know if she possesses a power like that of the Princesses. But, there is a chance, and this is an experiment. She may lead me to the place where the one holding the key is...

I shall send her off to the ocean of other worlds.

And if you play the game, theres is a Flashback, and Appear Kairi in Hollow Bastion whit his Granmother, when she was more younger.

So, i recomend you, if you dont have played the game, dont make theories.

In my defence
a) i have completed KH and thought it was one of the best games ever. However, the european version of the game did not include the eleventh ansem report, so I didn't know she was sent by him from hollow bastion

b) Riku summoned the meteor shower seen in the KH2 trailer because people are in different worlds that they don't come from. Have you even looked closely at the text n the trailers!?!. i know he didn't summon it in KH! That's plain idiotic...

Calm down people...
