Jungle World forgotten

We've seen many of the trailers with old and new worlds coming out in KH2. But the big question is what about the JUNGLE. you know tarzan world. And how come it wasn't in chain of memories either. Is this world forgotten or did Disney and SE ran out of ideas for for the jungle. what do you think

Well let me tell you teh wrong reason it wasn't in CoM

Disney did not lose the contract or rights to Tarzan. Do not believe this.


And the real reason is either becuz Nomura didnt want it in the game, it was replaced, or they didnt get permission.

They DID lose the rights to Tarzan. Everyone ( except SOME ) know this. Otherwise they would've put it in COM; it wasn't because Nomura didn't like it, otherwise he wouldn't have put it in KH.

Disney didn't lose the rights to their Tarzan.

The only reasonable reason it wasn't in CoM is because Edgar Inc. didn't give Square permission to use it. Which they'd have to listen to or get sued.

Disney still has rights to their Tarzan which they can never lose since they created him.

Strange. I saw picture in a magazine of the world card of the jungle from the japanese version of CoM. I don't know why they did'nt out it in the american version.

Uh, Disney can't lose rights on past material... They may have lost permission to use it in all games after KH1, or in other words, couldn't obtain a license to use it in CoM or KH2... I think that just about sums up what everyone's said without all the cussing and threatening.

either way i'm happy that the world isn't in kh2. *crosses fingers* I don't see how much you could have improved that world (meaning the look and the plot)...i didn't really like the world in kh1 anyways

They didn't give Square or Disney permission to use Deep Jungle in Chain of Memories or KH2. That's the biggest reason why it isn't in there. Besides, that world was a joke. It was way too damn easy and just a pointless part of the game.

The world sucked , and so did many others (*cough * atlantic and wonderland*)

I thought I remember hearing somewhere that there were some questionable copyright issues for using Tarzan (I think). Anyway I didn't really like the world it was kind of boring.
