I thought their earlier stuff was better, but its not as bad as some of the early thrash bands have released like Metallica's St. Anger.

I find Disturbed's not ballad stuff to be Nu-Metal, but again thats my opinion.

So how about instead of Nit-Picking bands you guys dont like we can just talk about bands we do agree on?

Earliest Metallica works are great, and bits and pieces of the Justice album were amazing. Most other stuff sucks dick, though. Opeth is amazing. Slayer is also quite amazing. I, personally, don't see SOAD as Metal, but they're good enough for me to say I love. The Sword is great. Lamb of God is a soundgasm. Pantera is great. Other than that, your list is kind of "meh" to me.

I don't see Meshuggah or Dream Theater on there?!

Mastodon is a lot better than they have any right to be, this is undeniable. And Boris is more hard rock than Metal. They kind of lack the aesthetic, i think.

I was going to make a list of metal bands and their album I mostly enjoy, but I'm gonna wait out on that because Chimaira is making a new album called The Infection which will be out in next month. Really fucking awesome!!
