I like Rulord more than Droul but that's me. Just because Luxord doesn't mean seem to be cool in fighting doesn't mean HE COULD have been a awesome final boss for KH: Chain of Memories. He could use cards to transform into Heartless or Nobodies to help fight Sora.
He doesn't have two r 's
Or even use it to wipe away Sora's cards.

It's not really ironic. The last boss with scythe= win in my book. Dulor ( my Luxord name) probably had better things to do anyway. He was probably in a casino gambling away his money.

I think Marluxia is given control of Castle Oblivon because he is No.11.

Get it? Xemnas is number 1, and Marluxia is 11. 1+10 = 11.

What I'm trying to say is that if the orginization probably had 1000 members the leaders would probably be number 1, 11, 111, 1111 so on and so forth.

Haha, that is a little funny when you think about it.

But they weren't really fighting with cards so much as the cards dictated what they could do with what they already possessed.

I mean, Sora had a keyblade and Marluxia had a scythe. They still used those, but the cards contained the memories on how to use them.

Though, it would've been appropriate to have Luxord in there somewhere. But as many of you have already speculated, he probably hadn't even been properly developed yet.

I agree that it seems ironic that Luxord wasn't the master of Castle Oblivion, since it involved cards.

However, like some have said, his character design probably wasn't done by then.

He's a Gambler... He'd probably lose Nami in a bet with Sora and then all hell would break lose.
