Is it me, or is KH2 less chalenging than the first one?

I hope this isn't just me, but KH2 seems to be a lot simpler and less complex as the first one. I mean, there are a lot more items, characters, stories, bosses, and bonuses, but they don't seem all that hard. I love the game, the graphics are freakin awsome, and the story line is really good, but I want a game with more options, choices, selection, also more side quests. maybe I'm just wierd, oh well, I just want to know if others think the same thing or not.:toungesmile:

Hades cup in Proud mode is a LOT tougher than anything from KH1.
But overall KHII is easy,i hope the boss Nomura is going to add will be a lot tougher than any boss

you know i dont really remember kh1 being as tough as anyone thinks. at least in comparison to kh2. maybe its just me, but i personally think there almost even. except for certain boss fights. from kh1 that were more lengthy rather than challenging. except ursula and chernabog they were lenghty and chlallanging.

yeah. all in all its about even. i dont know why everyone is complaining about it being to easy. if found much difficulty while in proud mode.

Yeah, I thought that too at first when I started playing KH2, but I realized that there are certain aspects that make it harder than KH1 and vice versa. For example, the tournaments weren'[t very hard in KH1, but they were an @ss kicker in KH2. Sephy was harder in KH1, but not so much in KH2. I think KH2 starts out easy because most people are already used to the game play from KH1.

As already said I think it all evens out in the end.

they need more difficult seceret bosses. sephiroth was the only one really and they didn't make him that tough.

The reaction commands definitely made things too easy.

But Hades Paradox (I think) was quite challenging. Well, one cup was. I just forget which ^-^;

Indeed, the reaction command was too easily abused... but it was also fun. They should have made it so that while performing a reaction command, if you press the triangle button before the triangle appears on-screen, then the action will be canceled. There were some parts of the game, however, (One-on-one fight with Xemnas fight at the skyscraper) where you couldn't press the triangle button too soon, or something bad would happen.

KH2 is easier in a few ways.
-Far more linear, do a world move on. Maybe come back later.
-Maps are all on one level. It's not like Traverse Town, Agrabah or Wonderland where there are high up and hard to reach places.
-You can just trounce the Heartless by mashing X
-There's a map, so you get around a lot easier. I have no idea how many times I got lost in Monstro... ¬_¬
-Bosses are made a cakewalk with mashing Triangle when the mark appears
-Drive owns

one thing that takes the piss is the gummi ship missions. they took it too far by making it so complex. if anyone has done em all 100% rated!!

Yes, the gummi missions are absolute evil on KH2. Especially when you REALLY can't be bothered. And when you finally do the last one on Level 3, that red version of the 4 armed enemy appears and annihalates you. It made me sad. Well, infuriated.

I'd say better, not easier than KH1.
All you literally had to do in KH was hold X and maybe move if there's a block in the way.

thats the reason they improved the gummi ship because all u had to do was press x and move ur ass around the screen. but as i said before they went over the top.

If you take away some tournys in the Underworld KHII was wayyyy easier than KH....I played the game proud first time through and it was still easy -.- I fealt slightly disappointed by how much they dumbed some things down....namely the diffuculty

Me too, that was one thing I was happy to see in KH2!
