Sora looks at those pictures you know. I wonder if thets Hollow Bastion in its real form, not the heartless thingies. I heard someone said it was Twilight Town but it dosent look like it.

the thing sora saw their was hollow bastion
he remembered it cause kairi was inside of him at the time so having seen the picture sparked one of kairi's memories inside of him
