i have been wonderen if you have an U.S. reigon ps2 do you need special stuff to the japan reigon kh2fm+?

You need a JP ps2 to play JP games. NA ps2 won't play them without something like swap magic.

yeah swap magic or AR max with dvd region X, u have to buy swap magic off the internet...as far as i know u cantr get it in shops , but AR max is sold in nearly every game shop here so..i d say thats the easier one

you can buy a chip for the NA ps2 that allows it to play JP games.....but the chip is like, $100

well, when i put the disc i don't close the lid, i restart the PS2 and it work

ooo ur using the small skinny ps2? the original one needs the chip....not sure about the smaller one
