Considering how long you've been out of tag-making, its not that bad. I do think the text could be lightened a bit. Shepperd looks a bit too burned out, or maybe its the texture/c4d you used went too much over his face. There's not much else i can say lol.

Text isn't helping, and it really distracts form the stock. I'd take out the text and fill it with some foreground smudging instead.

Text is killing it, and the fact that the stock looks sorta slapped on doesn't help either, might be because it looks LQ.

i've seen a lot worse text around here and no one says anything.
the text isn't the problem, it's the stock and color/placement of text.
