I'm Excited For Luxu's Future In The Series!

Hey, everyone, I hope you've all been doing well!

I'm excited for the future of the Kingdom Hearts series, in particular, regarding Luxu! The fact he's such an important character to the overall lore of the series is something I'm very pleased with, especially with the surprising revelation that Braig was Luxu all along! I will never forget that insane twist in KHIII's epilogue!

With that being said, I am even more excited at the prospect of Luxu being an active and participating character in the franchise's future. What's in store for him? Will he remain in hiding and help the Foretellers from behind the scenes so that our heroes don't know he actually survived the final battle? Or will he decide to just reveal himself in a more open way? Either way, I'm excited to see how he'll affect the new saga, especially where the Master Of Masters is concerned! It's like Luxu is the

I'm excited to learn about Luxu as well. Especially how he came to meet Braig and eventually steal his body. As for how active he is I think it won't take long for him to expose himself to the heroes. Although I'm not sure if they will find out he isn't the person he claimed to be right away

I know!!!! The hype is real! I'm very excited for the potential that this will bring for the future of the series! All I know is that it's going to be crazy, for sure!

I‘m curious about Luxu‘s loyalty to the MoM, as although he’s carried out the role the MoM has given him so far will he continue to do so? After all perhaps there could be a point where Sora is about to defeat the MoM and perhaps he will decide to go against him and carries out his own plan. If I remember correctly hasn’t he already went against the MoM instructions to not interfere and just watch events play out in Union X.

I’m also looking forward to everyone reactions when he reveals himself as Luxu and the fact the he wasn’t just another pawn in Xehanort’s plan. Also giving how many people lives he has helped ruin as Braig/Xigbar/Luxu I expect there to be some really interesting reactions when other characters learn the truth.

I'm very curious about this, too! Because at some point down the line, I'm sure Luxu found out or has an inkling that not everything is as it seems, and he's trying to botch MoM's plans by being as unpredictable as possible. After all, his personality as Xigbar is extremely reminiscent of the MoM's own mannerisms, so perhaps that was one way he was keeping him off his trail!

Luxu is behaving like MoM told him but not at 100%, Luxu betrays MoM several times, that does not mean Luxu does not want MoM to return as he does and says in the Secret Reports, but for sure Luxu is not in team with MoM, he bretrays him and a lot, he even reads the Book of Prophecies (its in the box likely)

My take is that Luxu has his own plan, he is not gonna follow MoM despite he appears to follow what MoM told him to do (he keeps watcthing and having an eye on No Name, but not whatsoever like MoM told him)

Same. Xigbar was always an interesting character so to see him have a significant role in the future of Kingdom Hearts just further adds to the intrigue. Now that we have the context of his life from The Age of Fairy Tales, we can't even assume that he's just a villain anymore.

Next to Sora, Luxu is the key to the future, he besides being the waypoint of MoM, he can be the memory part waypoint of anyone (less Malificent). Luxu is everytime, and the physical waypoint well each one has one, but Luxu is the waypoint of everyone and who lets MoM see the future and make his plan to get rid of the 13 Darknesses.
So, well, its all because Luxu that all is enacted

And the only antagonist are the 13 Darknesses, the MoM and the Masters are sacrifical vessels, not to be sacrificed because MoM tells Luxu he has a safety plan

I've had this sneaking suspicion for a while now that Xigbar/Luxu may turn out to be a bigger threat than the MoM... but who knows what his real intentions are.

The revelation that Luxu is the traitor really adds some spice to his character. While we still don't know what the exact relationship is between the original 13 Darknesses and the 13 Xehanorts/"Seekers of Darkness," Xigbar is one of the latter. In other words, not only does Luxu potentially harbor one of the 7 major Darknesses, but Xigbar himself actually becomes one of the 13 seekers used to reenact the 7 vs. 13 clash.

Furthermore, Xigbar also bears the Recusant's Sigil, which is a fun thought in multiple ways (a) because recusant means one who refuses to submit to authority and (b) because the sigil, with a hint of irony, puts the Organization members under Xemnas/Xehanort's surveillance. The other noteworthy thing here is that, while we pretty much know for sure that Xigbar bears the sigil as a member of the Org with an "X" in his name, Luxu himself also has that "X." Does that mean the MoM marked him with the sigil, since MoM supposedly gave all the foretellers their names? And if so, what are the implications of that? (Remember: the traitor is "the one who bears the sigil," according to the Lost Page). Here's a thought: what if Luxu body-hopped so that he could escape the MoM's surveillance? (Braig, for example, has no "X" in his name, possibly indicating that he is free from a sigil). Remember, the MoM never actually instructs Luxu to take on new vessels; he only tells him to pass on the No Name Keyblade to an apprentice. For all we know, Luxu is betraying the Master through his body-hopping antics and is trying to escape from under the Master's watch.

I can see this going one of two ways, really:

• Luxu is loyal to the MoM and willingly becomes a "traitor." MoM's plan to defeat Darkness depends on Luxu doing something unpredictable, and Luxu is in on it too, i.e., shares the MoM's goal of defeating Darkness. In other words, Luxu reads the MoM's subtext and knows that he has to take on the role of "traitor" in order to see the MoM's plan come to fruition. What he says in Secret Report 12 and in the KH3 epilogue do seem to indicate that he was given one final task/role by the MoM, which would appear to involve body-hopping until the re-enacted Keyblade War, so he could broadly still be playing by the MoM's book. Or...
• The MoM is deliberately surveilling Luxu because he is a traitor in the true sense of the word. Luxu/Xigbar is a Judas/Brutus-type traitor by nature, and is inevitably fated to thwart his Master. He certainly doesn't seem happy with the MoM's plan, after all. I mean, Xigbar becomes one of the 13 Seekers of Darkness, for crying out loud. Perhaps he actually becomes an ally of the Darkness. That, or he's committed to helping/saving the foretellers and Union Leaders from the fate MoM dictated for them, and this is his means to that end. For all we know, the "Xehanort as the chosen one to reenact the Keyblade War" thing is NOT part of the MoM's plan, but part of Luxu's. Maybe Luxu calls Xehanort a "scapegoat" because Xehanort is a pawn of Luxu's own plans -- he's Luxu's scapegoat. Luxu, of course, knows the MoM will inevitably see all the Xehanort stuff go down through the Gazing Eye. It could very well be that Luxu is pulling the strings and staying completely hidden to the MoM's eye, since he's technically in disguise as Xigbar. That would quite literally make Xehanort Luxu's scapegoat. The MoM, knowing Luxu intends to pull something like this, could be playing a long-game chess match with Luxu -- the traitor of light. Maybe the MoM's meeting with Young Xehanort is not to set him on the path of Darkness, but is in fact part of a larger ploy to thwart Luxu. Xehanort is a true pawn, in this scenario.

That is an intriguing way to look at it! And honestly, if you really think about it, Luxu is kind of like a huge wild card at this point in the story. Whether he's still loyal to the MoM or he's decided to take matters into his own hands we shall see over the course of the next saga!

Yeah, aside from the Master explicitly referring to him as a traitor, Luxu clearly went rogue with the True Dandelion and whatever plan he cooked up with Brain.
Since he still had No Name, it's possible that's the betrayal the Master saw, but I wonder what else Luxu's been up to in all the time he wasn't under the Master's gaze. He was clearly uncomfortable with the revelations as the Master detailed his plan.

Kind of feels like the future of Kingdom Hearts is going to be the Master's plan vs. Luxu's schemes vs. Brain and Ephemera's counterplans vs. Sora's doing whatever he wants
