Film ► Idea for an Non-Disney animated epic

I’ve had an idea for an epic animated musical based on Paradise Lost (aka the story of Lucifer’s fall from Heaven) for a long time and wanted to get a tally of how many people here would think such a film would spark a controversy. I mean it’s not technically a Bible story considering Paradise Lost is it’s own separate piece of literature but you can never be too careful with this country

Depends on who it's aimed for but ultimately you'll get controversy either way.

I'd be interested in it! There is a show on Netflix (idk if its an original) called Lucifer, and sure it sparked controversy, but ultimately it became very popular and grew a decent-sized fanbase. I'm sure people would hate on a movie like this, but I think a lot of people could love it and maybe it could be a success in the end.
It should definitely be rated r/ma and be for adults, though.
