I think I'll try this Roleplaying thing again

Ironic how I had a whole heap of things to write about swimming through my head when I was just a guest, reading, but now I'm signed up I've got terrible writers block like a brick to the face. I wanna give RPing a go again, I tried before on this other site and picked up the basics, but it's been a while and I don't know how things are done around here. So I was wondering if someone wanted to help me make one and show me the ropes. Like, a demonstration, not like tie me up. O_O In return... my eternal gratitude and admiration?

Lolz... that's Zets for ya. But if you want an RP to join, look for one that's basic where you can build yourself up. I find that if you describe all of the actions you'd actually do in life, its easy to get things moving.

Example:

Jett walked the dog.
Simple, but boring.

Jett picked up the lead, then whistled to his dog. Clipping on the lead, he gave the rope a quick tug, urging the dog to follow him. Walking out the front, then opening the gate, lead the dog out to the footpath, and began to walk down the street.
Basically the same thing, but more descriptive.

Its easy once you figure it out.

Join an 'Always Joinable' RP
and ask people for suggestion.
Don't forget to read the guides if you need help.
Go look at examples of other people's RP sign-ups or whatever if you need help.

I've noticed that most people have used their own personalities and actions at least once. There's a kind of science that goes into it. Sensual memory is applied when you recount your own habits and thoughts, what you would say or do in certain situations; you don't have to make anything [you have only a foggy idea of] up.

There is also the matter of deciding whether an action should be descriptive or not. For example, you may want to describe eating some noodles with temperature, taste, eater's emotions, and feel-good state when your character hasn't eaten in weeks, but in an event where your character feels time passing away at a rate where days are seconds, you would want the description to be generally short and crisp.

She evidently already understands the basics of RP.

She's not asking for people to explain how to roleplay to her, she's asking for someone to start a collab with her so that she can understand KHI's take and nuances of RP.
