How did Diz make it out of the Dark Realm? And the second time he went back he had no memory...why didn't he lose his memory the first time he was banished there?
He "befriended the darkness" allowing him to create Corridors of Darkness that led him out. He lost his memory as a result of that machine exploding in KH2.
