San Fransokyoâ€™s plot, about the original Baymax being brought back, corrupted by darkness, is a fine story. But I believe â€œDark Baymaxâ€ should have been completely destroyed. Having old Baymax back by the end not only took away the emotional punch of the movie, but the way Hiro treats both Baymaxâ€™s as if theyâ€™re two distinct entities just makes Baymax as a character feel less special. In the movie, Baymaxâ€™s â€œconciousnessâ€ was inside his memory chip, which Hiro put into a new body. It wasnâ€™t a case of one Baymax dying with a copy taking his place, it was basically a brain transplant. And I wish KH3 stuck to that idea.
