As many of you know, KH2 FM has an awesome armored boss. In the past, he's been referred to by two names: Lingering Sentiment and Enigmatic Soldier.

How did they come up with these names?

personally, I think that Lingering Sentiment makes much more sense, especially after seeing the events of BBS

Yeah, Enigmatic Soldier was a fan-given name referencing Enigmatic Man (also a fan-given name, I think) in Kingdom Hearts: Final Mix.

Lingering Sentiment was the actual name that the Journal Description in KH 2 FM displays after you defeat him. Enigmatic Solider was just a fan name for people who couldn't read the Japanese. A few people tried coining the name Armored Unknown ever since the first BBS video in the first Kingdom Hearts release but with 3 Armored characters it was rather confusing.

Likewise KH 1 FM journal entry refered to Xemnas as the "Mystery Man" but the first person to rip the video called him Unknown and the name stuck. Likewise all the coated characters in Deep Dive were refered to as some form of Unknown (Dual Wielding Unknown, Blind Folded Unknown, Yellow Eyed Unknown etc).

Perhaps to avoid this Square Enix revealed the names of the armored characters as Terra Aqua and Ven almost right away so fan named didn't start popping up. Because of this Lingering Sentiment was also refered to as Terra since it appeared to be the same character.

In the BBS game Lingering Sentiment is actually officially renamed as Terra's Sentiment, once the whole story behind it is revealed.

That explains a lot about this stuff. Thanks.
