How many hours do you think we will need to beat KHIII?

I'm talking like 30 hrs just going through the story, hopefully we will have enough contect to play 50 hrs without getting bored

Well considering 0.2 is supposed to be the length of one world in KH3. And Nomura saying 0.2 would be about three hours in length. Plus we got the reveal of there being at least ten worlds (It's unknown he means just ten Disney worlds or ten worlds total, original worlds included), 30 hours for the story seems pretty likely so far.

It took me about 60 hours to 100% KH1FM and about 80+ hours to 100% KH2FM. Here's hoping KH3 continues the trend with about 90ish hours

In my first playthrough I tend to take my time and soak it in. So 30-40 hours would be great to me. I also would like 90 hours to get Platinum for the game. I want this game to make me work hard for it.

I hope 25-30 hours for the main story, and I hope it will have a good post game, maybe of 70-80 hours.
Either way I tend to take my time with my first playtroughs, I finished FFXV in 50 hours the first time lol

I always take forever to beat games and with how gorgeous the graphics look I'll be spending lots of time just being amazed by that so... I'd say even just the first playthrough will probably be like 50 hours if I take my time with it. Preparing for that 100 hours for plat. Or more depending how awful the gummi and obligatory annoying minigames trophies will be.

It's gonna take me 100 hours the first time. I'll take my time. The second time I'll try to speedrun it and try for around 10 hours.

I reckon that there'll be 13 worlds, I think that there will be 9 Disney worlds with one of them being optional (Winnie The Pooh) and also have 4 original worlds.

Each world will probably have 2 hours worth of story content. So story mode will be somewhere between 22-28 hours. I think to collect everything and complete it 100% the game length will most likely double and be somewhere between 44-56 hours.

I managed to extend one (out of like six so far) of my playthroughs of 0.2 to 8-9 hours so I think KH3 will probably take me 50+ hours to finish. There's just so much of the worlds that I will want to take in, exploring every inch and cranny, getting Sora to pose just right for photos, etc.

Actually I´m playing Persona 5 on PS4 and the length of that game is awesome. I'm 64 hours into the game and I love every part of it.
That's what I'm expecting for this Kingdom Hearts, something long that catches me. But not every hour has to be on the main story, but also on side-missions or interactions to explore.

I imagine if we have two hours per world and 10 worlds, a few more hours will be added on account of revisiting core worlds. I don't think twilight town will be a one-time visit.

20 hours would be even more underwhelming considering the number of characters that need screen-time.

The number was given back in 2016, and I imagine some worlds might be 2-ish hours but I can’t imagine something like Olympus being done in just 2-ish hours. We have to climb the mountain, fight the Rock Troll in Thebes, fight the Rock Titan, and get to the Heavens.

Combine that with exploration and cutscenes, the first visit to Olympus looks like it will take quite a few hours to get to the end of that world. And that’s without returning for mini-games, collectables that require end-game skills, the rare heartless, and more.

I can see something like Tangled being 2-ish hours, since that area is a lot more straightforward than Olympus and you just need to fight through forests until Corona, and shortly after leaving the town you go towards the end boss fight. There needs to be something to happen for Sora to be yelling for Org XIII to show their self (scripted fight against Nobodies?), then you meet Rapunzel and Flynn, escort them through the Snuggly Duckling with a mini-fight in the canyon, then through the forests to Corona, and finally to the final boss.

It’s a lot more clear how Tangled most likely will go and how it fits into the number Nomura gave two years ago but some world like Olympus is a lot more unclear since it’s wholly original and hard to see how it all connects together.

20 hours would be incredibly short for a game like KH3 and something I don’t expect. DDD was 30-ish hours on my first playthrough, and that only had seven playable worlds in it. I need KH3 to be long and delicious.

He said that 0.2 was meant to be the length of one KH3 world, but then he played 0.2 and thought it was longer. Since then, general consensus was that every KH3 world would be shorter than 0.2, and once people got good at getting through 0.2 some think the worlds will be one hour long each lmao.
