In FFX2, how do you get the ending where Tidus and Yuna unite on Besaid?

First you'll have to meet with Maechen at Guadosalam in Chapter 3. You'll find him when you meet up with Logos and Ormi in the same area. Next you have to get the ''whistling'' scene with Yuna at the end of Chapter 3. When you're alone in the Farplane, move Yuna around and continually press the X button. You'll hear whistling. That means you have activated the event. Next thing you have to do is get an Episode Complete in Luca during Chapter 5. All you have to do there is visit the location where Tidus taught Yuna how to whistle. Next, get an Episode Complete in Besaid. Finally, once you have beat the game, keep tapping the X button to get the ending.

By episode complete in luca, all it means is that you have to do the first blitzball game, then go to the place that tidus taught yuna to whistle(by the stairs to highroad). And in the Farplane with Yuna, just keep pressing X. don''t stop until the end of the scene.

To meet Maechen in Guadosalam, you have to watch that sphere in Ormi's room with Shuyin. And you must listen to Maechen's full story, then Yuna must shake his hand.

The whistling thing in the Farplane you press even after the new scene begins. Run around with Yuna and keep pressing X. When the scene starts, still keep pressing X until it goes white.

In Luca I dont think you have to do the Blitzball game, just accept to participate and then exit the screen. You just have to do the moogle chase event.

Then after the fight with Shuyin, when the Gullwings start leaving the Farplane, when they in that place with the pretty flowers and waterfalls, press X quickly until something happens, the Fayth will ask Yuna if she wants to see Him again. Choose "Yes". And wait til after the credits.

Dont skip any scenes in all of these events. It makes a difference.
