How do ya beat Ansem's second form? Help!!!

Can anyone give me advice on how to beat Ansem's second form?(The one after you beat Darkside on the island) At first I do great, but then he starts to do the lightning attack and well I know I'm doomed everytime on that part... Please help, it would be greatly appreciated!

yea just doge it then he will probally try to do wat cloud does so use guard then just keep attackin wat ever u do dont stop for anythin except when he glows then u doge an roll thats all u have to do

My advice is dodge when he does the lightning attack and attack wildly all the other times...that's what I did...or I at least attacked wildly and got smart when I faced him for about the seventh time. I just love attacking bad guys.

I've tried to dodge him during the lightning attack using glide. Should I try running instead?

The one where lightning comes out from the ground and attacks you and Ansem is just standing there with his arms crossed.

o that one i was just doged it i sugest dogein it cuae u wont get hurt and the one we the guardean comes up i just go the same thing

Thx!! Okay, I'll try rolling and hopefully I'll get past that part! If anyone has anymore suggestions I'll try them. Ansem is taking me forever to beat after all!

Dodge Rolling works, but if you have it, SuperGlide, wait for him to go under you(stay around the center of the area) and once he goes under you let go and jump again. This always works for me

Make sure you have Aeroga and Curaga on your customs. Cast Aeroga when he says "Take this" and he'll stop immediately. Roll when he does the 'lightning attack'. Oh, and don't use oblivion. You kind of need your magic more than strength, because you'll use Ragnarock and Aeroga a couple of times. Use Ragnarok when you are being possesed by his guardian. Use (If you have it) Lionheart, the keyblade you get after beating Cloud and Leon in the Hades cup. If you don't have that, as lame as it sounds, use Divine Rose. I didn't use many items, as you get magic from taking damage, or attacking Ansem. Just have some magic restoring items in your inventory.
